Space is a dangerous place. When your weapon is broken, and the pirates got on your tail, the only way to save yourself is to dive into the asteroid belt with hope of escaping the chase. The asteroid field carries a huge risk, there is little room for maneuvering, and the collision with asteroid is deadly. To survive you need a great reaction and reflexes.
