I installed a stock rom for my Galaxy Tab 7.7 (P-6800) and it was stuck at the flashing SAMSUNG logo (the one with the tune) and so I juct left it there and went to sleep. The next day I tried turning on the tabalet but it didn't work so I booted into Download Mode and did a NAND erase. I was planning to install a stock rom from SAMMOBILE but now I can't boot into Download Mode. When I try to, it goes into the warning screen and after a second or so, it becomes black. I figured it could have been out of battery or a button is broken. I have tried charging the tablet with wall charger (2.1A) but it doesn't seem to work. I could occasionaly get it succesfully into Download Mode but it will turn off itself for no reason.
THERE IS NO OS INSTALLED SO DON'T TELL ME TO GO THE TERMINAL OR ANYTHING. IT IS ABSOULUTLY EMPTY ONLY HARDWARE AND DOWNLOAD MODE.
Anyways, please help. I am trying to get daniel_hk's cyanogen mod on this for my friend and I don't think he would expect me giving a bricked tablet to him.

Sounds bad. If neither download nor recovery mode works, your device is hard-bricked.
You can check this thread: Unbrick Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
But in case of a hard-brick, you (or a service center) may have to replace the mainboard.
Before spending money for such a repair, you can ask again in the [FAQ] [Q&A] [Noob Friendly] HELP THREAD - POST ALL YOUR SUPPORT QUESTIONS HERE thread.
Good luck !
Thread closed and thank you.
Is there any modified recovery I can flash form ODIN/Heimdall and that will boot into itself by default? Device is I9300.
Short version of problem: Stuck in bootloop, no way to enter recovery. Flashing stock ROM = still bootloop.
Long: After downgrading BlissPop 5.1.1 to an earlier version I got into a bootloop (due to not wiping everything that I should have properly).
Was rooted and had CWM recovery.
Flashed stock ROM 4.3 (NEE-I9300XXEMG4-20130809155048). But now I have bootloop with this ROM instead. Flashed again, same thing. Flashed an earlier version. Also flashed the original 4.0.4. Waited 10 minutes more with every bootloop, pulled battery.
Can't enter recovery to wipe due to power switch beeing physically scraped off from the logic board. Cell phone repair guy could not solder on a new power switch, nor was he able to put electrical current into it by a cable. So repairing is out of the question.
Found some info about how to enter download mode and from there get into recovery by pressing button combination, this does not work for me.
I can get into download mode by using USB JIg. I can also start the device by inserting it and removing after 1-2 seconds.
Is there an alternative way to perform a wipe? How do I get out of this mess?
Doesn't ODIN performed a wipe when flashing stock ROM?
How do I take Blisspop and make it flashable from ODIN?
Hi there,
You must ask in the dedicated forum for this device, but first you must see what exactly model of S3:

Hey guys
I have been trying to resuscitate my friend´s Galaxy S2 for weeks and can´t figure it out. The point is we don´t want to wipe the phone as we want to save the data (contacts and pics that the friend did not save elsewehere).
What happened:
My friend opened Shazam, the phone powered off and has been stuck on the flashing Samsung logo screen.
I can access the recovery mode and download mode.
What I have tried so far:
Dowloaded appropriate JB ROM from Sam Mobile, tried flashing with Odin - the phone got hanging on "Upgrading Android OS, starting applications" screen.
Rebooted, hanging at the flashing Samsung logo screen.
Then I tried loading CWM from SD card, but this probably overwrote the original ROM as I could not access the recovery mode afterwards.
Tried flashing again to Jelly Bean.
Still stuck at the flashing Samsung logo screen.
Basically, is there any way how to recover the data only, without making the phone fully functional (or wiping the phone first)?
Any advice is welcome, thank you!

Hello everyone,
I have recently acquired a used Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). The device came up broken and by that I mean ROM-wise. It would turn on, show the samsung logo and then turn off immediately. I boot it up to download mode in order to install a recovery mod, after installing like 2 wrong recovery mods the device wouldn't turn back on. I tried every combination possible. I started thinking that the power button had broken out of the blue. The next day after charging the device it seems like that it turned back on. I tried booting up to download mode to install the CORRECT this time recovery mod (TWRP) but it wouldn't turn on in download mode. What happened was only showing the samsung logo then turning off immediately and then I was once again unable to boot the device. Before you ask, I tried every combination possible and taking out the battery.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and has by any chance found a way to solve this?
