To install cwm you can use the search feature. Search for cwm and you will find forum for cwm download link and steps.
If you wanna upgrade to jelly bean then you may use the roms in the development section.
The most popular jelly beam rom is calld CyanogenMod 10.

To all the devs out there this is my humble request to kindly build custom roms for xperia c. It has locked bootloader but we have successfully created recovery mode for the device.. Waiting to see some good stuff.

After that u can make back up
But how to install recovery.....without unlocking bootloader

You have to wait for cuatom rom. Till someone dev here picks up xperia m and start development on it.
For custom recovery search google.
You can find in CWM amd TWRP. If you cant find your recovery in there it means your device has not been considered yet for further development.
