no battery history screen? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I just wanted to look if my phone has the wakelock bug that Google play services 7.3..x brings with him on some 5.0.x devices, when I noticed that we don't have a battery history screen where whe van see if our phone stays awake. See:http://img.tapatalk.com/46b311c0-945b-bfcd.jpg
or is there another way to get there?
Greets,

[Q] How to know what's consuming the battery

Hi to all,
after a lot of test I can confirm I haven't the dock draining issue, but I've some (application) what's consuming my battery...
You can see some notes to the attached image.
How can I know what's eating my battery? The 10 hours before, the tablet was in sleep mode (no using)...
Thank's in advance!
you leave it on the dock while sleeping?, get system panel or similar to monitor device usage
During this 2 days and a half, the tablet it's always on the dock (docks battery expressly empty, 3-4%)
When I arribe at home (one hour), I take another screenshot, but basically shows... (aprox.)
Android System 40-45%
Wifi 25-30%
...
In an hour I post more info.
Thank's.
the other screenshot attached
It looks likes you system is never going into a deep sleep.
A couple of suggestions to track down what is effecting you.
1) You have pretty high Wifi usage. Do you install any applications that periodically check for data (some news apps do this). Also, is Wifi set to run off when the screen goes dark.
2) Are you running apps that use the GPS like Google maps or a another mapping app.
Thank's for answer...
Yes, I also noticed the wifi it's ON too much time... I have the option "When screen turns off" on Wi-Fi sleep policy... seems that didn't work??? In any case, if you look the first screenshot, on the middle, you can see a long time periode where the wifi it's on but the battery remains with a good rate of discharge.
I'm not sure if I've some apps using location but I'm sure the GPS it's OFF.
Have you enabled latitude under maps?

Not Getting Notifications - 5.0.1

Hi,
My nexus 5 does not show/get messages from Whatsapp after the phone screen has been locked and not woken up for a while. This is happening on 3G. This seems to be happening during the afternoon. It's not really anything to do with the time I guess.. probably only because the phone is least used while im at work.
Battery saver is off and no such battery saving apps are in use
Anyone else facing this issue ?
Thanks!
Check if you have priority notifications enabled.
Hint: Check for a Star icon in the top right corner.
Check if you have restricted data for Google Services or any other Google/System related app

Battery Drain, still after trying some fixes

Hello xda,
I have my Oneplus One more than one year now, and the geatest thing I alwasy notices was the much better Battery life.
I dont know what happened, but before 2 weeks my One needed much more battery when i did nothing with it:
Before 3 weeks: 10 hour in the night, with only 30 min screen on, the One used les than 3% battery.
Since 2 weeks: same 20 hour in the night, less than 30 min screen on, the One needs mor than 13% battery!
So before 1 week i completly wiped my device, flashed an new custom recovery and installed stock COS12.
I had not backed up any apps or settings or restored them, but changed everything new in COS, so that i did not copy any mistakes which i had from before.
The problem remained and i still had battery drain when the devices screen was off.
So i searched in the Web, and installed a battery watch app.
These are the fixes i tried:
-Disable double tap-to-wake
- Uninstall Google Play Services updates and install the new ones from Play Store
- Install an App called Wakelock-Fix, which activates and deactivates one google update service everytime after rebooting you phone.
- Using Privacy Guard and disabeling the wake up and stay active settings from Google Play Services.
After i tried this fixes the battery drain stayed as worse as it was before but instead of the Google Play Services in the Battery Usage only the Google Services showed up!!!
Sorry for my bad English, I am from Germany.
And sorry if there is already a thread or Solution in this forum, but i searched some hours in the Web and did not find anything.
Please ask if something is not clear.
Screenshots willl come later.
Here are some screenshots:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B...xHSEJWamFEWDBicTNMYm1QWkZSclRhS2JJVXk2elhVTTg
Look at the date of the pictures to see the development from Google Play Services battery drain to Google Services battery drain. Also i added some Pictures of SetCPU with the Tim in State because before 3 weeks i had more than 90% of the time only 300 MHz but today i have less than 80%.
And i added some Screenshots of each Tab in BetterBatteryStats.
Nothing looks unusual there. Your screenshots from BetterBatteryStats show that in an 11:50:29 period it is as follows:
Screen on = 00:32:57
Device awake = 00:42:04
Deep sleep = 11:08:24
This tells us that your device isn't being held awake when it shouln't be, it's only awake a little over nine minutes more than the screen on time which is actually pretty good. Are you comparing Lollipop to Lollipop or are you comparing Lollipop to KitKat? What I'm seeing here looks pretty normal to me for Lollipop.
The Screenshots were made all within 2 Weeks till now and always based on Lollipop 5.0.2
Is this really normal? Because when i first got the device with KitKat i only lost 2-3% over 10 hours in the night and before some weeks when i had been longer on Lollipop the battery usage suddenly went up.
And the Google Services are still using lots of battery or is this normal? Because I had only Google Play services using the Battery too much and now i have the Google Services instead.
Just saw on Twitter that COS12.1 with Android 5.1.1 will come out, maybe i will just wait for the Update.
But thank you so far.

So you are essentially comparing Lollipop to KitKat. Lollipop doesn't get as good battery life as KitKat had, so that's part of what you're experiencing. Google Play Services and Google Services are the same thing, it's just showing up differently in your battery stats page. Honestly, I don't think you have anything to worry about, everything in your screenshots looks completely normal to me. Just enjoy your device. Maybe try the latest COS12.1 update or a custom ROM.
try a battery calibration

I don't see how that's at all relevant to the situation described here.

Battery usage problem

Hi
Im having problem with my SGS 6, whenever I go to see battery usage in settings all I can see is screen usage, few Android processes ( Android operating system, device idle, wi-fi, cell standby, mediaserver and Android OS processes ) and only 2-3 apps that I installed.
That would be fine if I was only using that apps but when I check whats using battery with other 3rd party programs they showing everything correctly. They showing Google play services, Twitter, Samsung push service, Messanger, Facebook app, Viber and everything else that should been shown, when I want to see whats using my battery and what percentage of battery is used. I use that apps every day very much but they are still not showing there.
I don´t have time to do complete restore so I´d be greatful if someone knows whats happening and if someone else have this problem. Is it because notifications are turned off for 90% of my apps but I think that should not affect that.
Thanks!

Hidden Wakelocks by Whatsapp

I am running into a Wakelock issue and I am completely stumped. For some reason, my phone refuses to go into deep sleep for hours on end. Better Battery Stats shows that the phone spends the majority of its time with the CPU at its lowest frequency, but refuses to go into deep sleep. The issue started when I clean flashed LinageOS back when I tried 14.1. Since 15.1 has recently released, I tried to have another go, yet the problem remains. I am using a Oneplus 5.
The very weird thing about these Wakelocks is, is that they are completely invisible. Wakelock Detector isn't showing any specific wakelocks (Advanced mode enabled), but does show that the phone isn't entering the deep sleep state. Not even for a single second. Better Battery Stats shows the same thing, with zero seconds spent in Screen off (deep sleep) and all the time spent in Screen off (Awake). No application is listed anywhere that's causing these wakelocks. They aren't visible under partial wakelocks nor kernel wakelocks.
Now this is where things get bizarre. I tried removing all my applications and reinstalling them one by one to find out if it was an app that was causing the issues. Each time I installed an app, I would check whether the phone would go into deep sleep when I wasn't using it. It turns out that the phone stopped going into deep as soon as Whatsapp was installed. Yet Whatsapp would never register more than a few seconds of wakelocks each passing hour.
I'm not sure where to even begin to try and solve this issue. Has anyone else ever experienced these kind of invisible / hidden wakelocks, and if so, how did you manage to fix these issues? Thank you very much in advance for helping me out
Nobody with a similar problem to mine? It's really killing battery life for me

I think I may have something similar happening with WhatsApp. My stats show lots of time spent with CPU on and screen off. Wakelock detector shows WhatsApp at the top of the list. But I don't really understand how to solve it other than deleting WhatsApp, which I don't want to do. Did you get anywhere with it?

No, I still have the same issue unfortunately. Though my issue seems to be slightly different than yours in the sense that Whatsapp is very low in the list. The total minutes of Wakelock is far below the total minutes of awake (screen off). But uninstalling Whatsapp instantly solves the wakelock issue. Out of interest, what phone are you using and what rom?

I got here through a google search. I am not sure it's whatsapp causing this (haven't removed it yet) but on a Moto G3 with LOS 15.1 unofficial by Rahul I have the same symptoms.
