Hello XDA developer's,
I own a ONE plus ONE from amazon india and facing issue with the default features of my device .
few days back i was watching a link through my default android player , in between the video got stuck about in a min,
followed by that my device rebooted auto , and once i decided not to watch the video from android default player i had got a new issue with my contacts all of my contact saved in internal storage removed luckily it is there for import in internal memory .
So i tried to import the contacts all together selecting import all .
But it seems the Contact stopped working for multiple import it support for like 10 or 15 contact , more than that it always stop working ..
Please help me out me with this as it freaking pain to import contact individually .

Hello all,
I was trying to find but with no luck an Android app which can connect to other phone and fetch it's address book and import it in itself. I saw that option under Setup on my friend's HD2 (with SD based Android) but can't find it on my NAND gauner1986's HD-FI 0.3 build. Any advices?

Hi guys , I purchased Nexus S I9023 2days ago , I update the software to ICS 4.0.3
I need to copy my contacts from my old phone Nokia N73 , I got the contacts in Vcards but a lots of files , when I try to upload them to google contacts it only allows one file upload , is there another way to copy the contacts or a way to combine the contacts in VCF file !?

I didn't have any problem when I first moved to android from my e71 but I think that's because I was already using google sync. Do you still have your n73? You could set it up still.

Using vcfcards is the simplist way to copy contacts from old nokia to new android. Try it yesterday and it was working with no problem. Dont be scared of the large number of exported vcf contacts. Android wil import them all at once.
How about copying them to the SIM card on your Nokia then to your Nexus S?
set sim card in nokia , copy all conctact to SIM , set sim card in nexus s and move all SIM contacts to nexus s..
what about import/export function in your g account?

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Nexus 5. Everything seems to be fine except from the Hangouts application.
The thing is that some of my contacts are saved as : 075 ......
and some other as: +44 75....
The contact name of those who are saved as 075, does not appear on the Hangouts app. It is really annoying, as i have quite a lot of contacts and i don't want to change the number of each one.
Any ideas?

hello...i had the same problem
befor i bought a nexus 5 i used a nokia x6.i had more contact in my nokia phone.
firstly i copyied my all contact to my computer as v Card file.after i deleted my all contacts in my nexus 5 using DELETE ALL CONTACT app.
after i copied All V Card to my nexus . after open people app.(it is comes with n5) and click 3 dots button in right side.select import/export on the menu.and click import from storage.and select import all v Card files...
this thing works for me..i don't know it's work for you.but you can try it with your own risk.
IF ANY ONE WORK THIS PLEASE REPLY STEP BY STEP WITH GOOD ENGLISH.

Just got my mate 7 , amazing phone
I love the privacy feature where you can create a guest profile in which some apps are invisible, and where you can add private contacts.
But whenever I try to add a private contact it displays a message "no contacts".
Has anyone been able to do this?

Just got myself a mate 7, just need to reconfirm again that private contact will only works if the contact is in phone memory and not from other sources like gmail etc etc ?
Also, is there a way to create more than two guest mode ?

Yep you just have to copy your contacts to the phone memory then hide your gmail contacts and voila

to see if someone can help me. My whatsapp folder has disappeared from my samsung note 9 and I cannot create backups of my messages. The backup process reaches 100% very fast but as there is no whatsapp folder, no file is generated within the databases folder. I know that recently whatsapp has made a change and the whatsapp folder has been moved into android / media / com.wassap / whatsapp /, but this folder disappears automatically after reinstalling whatsapp after a few minutes. I have installed whatsaapp through Dual app.
The main whatsapp application works correctly. It only happens to me with the dual app whatsapp. I have cleared cache, repaired apps from recovery menu and also i have created the necessary folders again within andorid / media / com.whatsapp / whatsapp/ databases... but nothing, no backup is generated. I don't want to upload my chats to google drive. Has anyone else had this issue? thanks in advanced

Dual whatsapp folder not seen
Hi, Since yesterday ,after accepting some new terms and conditions of Samsung, the dual whatsapp folder is missing and so not able to see the the videos and photos. Even new photo, docs or videos cannot be downloaded in the chat of the dual whatsapp. any idea how to fix this?

I use exactly the same phone and have also been experiencing the same problem for over a month now. I just hope that both Whatsapp and Samsung would find a lasting solution to this issue.
