Issues I'm having with CM12/ OS12 - WiFi and Swiftkey - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
So I installed CM12S using the tool provided so I believe this was a clean flash.
I did come from a custom CM12.1 rom so Idk if this is the reason I'm having any of the following issues.
WiFi - It says I'm connected however I know it isn't working because I stop getting whatsapp messages...it works at first then stops unless I disconnect and reconnect.
Swiftkey - It can't seem to connect to Gmail, keeps failing.

[Q] SuperRom 2.0 Bluetooth and other issues for I9100G

I recently installed the SuperRom v2.0 (superatmos v2.1). The following are the issues that I have faced so far.
1. Bluetooth - Although the rom detects and connects to the bluetooth headset, unfortunately while making calls, the headset button on the phone is disabled - as a result I could not make any calls.
2. Phone switches to lock screen - A strange problem that I noticed when I flashed the rom is while downloading apps from Market Place. When i tried downloading an app like KTool, it begins the download process, when the download completes and beings to the install the app, the phone simply switches to the lock screen mode and the installed app is lost.
3. With SuperRom V1.1 and kernel 1.1, i had the same bluetooth and phone screen lock issues as mentioned above.
I was trying alternatives to figure out what could be the issue with Android Market app causing the phone screen lock.
I tried re-installing the app and rebooted the phone. Next, I rebooted to recovery mode and wiped the cache. Then the problems mentioned in (1) and (2) where gone, but I soon realised a 4th problem
4. The 4th problem was when I installed AnTuTu CPU accelerator, I overclocked it to 1.2ghz and saved the same. However when I open the app, the app sets the CPU frequency back to 1.08Ghz.
@SuperAtmos - Great job in building a custom rom for i9100G, but I guess you need to address the issues I have mentioned above.
@others - Guys have you come across the above problems ?
thanks

LG Nitro HD HO!NO! v8.2 rebooting problem

Not sure if this is the correct place to post, but I am having a rebooting issue with the ROM. The phone seems to reboot while using Google Talk, specifically while typing, the phone just locks up for a few seconds and reboots. It seems to also always be when I'm either typing on the keyboard, or getting focus on a box that requires the keyboard for input. I thought it might be an issue with the gApps that I have installed, but I flashed back to my backup of v7.1, and the issue no longer persists.
Also, a general problem with HO!NO!, on both v7.1 and 8.2, the camera app crashes my phone quite a lot. It is random, so I can't say exactly what's causing it.
Also, is it normal for a phone to have completely incorrect time after rebooting (from a crash by the camera app, I should add) without a data signal? (This was a problem for v7.1. It updates fine within a second with a data signal, but the time seems to default to 00:00 without data.) I was in a place with no signal and all the pictures I took ended up with time stamps of something like December of 2002.
I'm currently using HO!NO! v7.1 with kernel version 3.0.8-HO!NO!_Mod-cyanogenmod+ and Cyanogen Mod version 9-20120721-UNOFFICIAL-p930.
I have the same issue. Same trouble with Jellybean too. I think it's something to do with the Kernel. we need a custom kernel soon!

CM12.1 and Android Auto: "Connection Error 7"

I'm currently on the latest CM12.1 Sultan-Mod. Last week I got a new car which supports Android Auto (Volkwsagen Columbus Headunit), at the beginning I got a connection a few times, but all the time with frequent connection losses ("Error: USB Device" shown on Headunit), the longest period it worked was about 1 hour. Today on my phone I got the message "Communication Error 7", now it's not possible to get a stable connection at all.
I've tried removing the car from the auto app and removing the auto app but without success. Has anybody been able to get a working connection between a CM12.1 device and a car?
Missing features after resetting mobile
Hi,
I am using OPO with CM 12.1. Yesterday i have reset my mobile and few apps and features (Screen Pinning,Screenshot,Menu button ) are missing after resetting my mobile. Please let e know the solution.
I've tried different CM13 Nightlies and CM12.1 without success now. Seems like Android Auto won't work with the OPO at the moment.
For future notice, I was having this same problem all of a sudden on my Nexus 6P, found how to fix it.
Uninstall updates for Google Play Services, it's a buggy install that is doing it. Found a few other forums talking about it, did it myself, and even after it re-updated, everything is working fine. I had to plug it in and unplug it several times, and it finally gave me all of the prompts again to start like new.

Wifi keeps not working

Hi, guys.
Some time ago, I made a post here talking about a wifi problem that happened after I installed a custom ROM on my Surya (for those who don't know, my wifi keeps disconnecting and connecting when I use ROMs that wasn't made based on MIUI). Sometime later, I reinstalled the original ROM via Mi Flash, as I was told to do. For a while it worked, but one day I turned off the wifi (I was going to school, and the wifi connection there is horrible, so I turned off wifi cause I wasn't going to use) and when I turned it on, it stopped working. Since then, I've been trying to do everything I can to get back, but nothing works. I've already spent the stock ROM on Mi Flash several times and even then, the most I could do was to make the internet work for a few days and the problem again. Does anyone know what i can do?
At first I thought it was a firmware problem, by the way, I'm suspecting it's a problem with the modem itself, but overall I don't know where the problem is yet.

Question Phone loses wifi connection every few seconds after moving to custom rom

Hello everyone,
I just installed CrDroid on my Poco X3 Pro and came from stock ROM. After the fresh installation of version 8.9 my WiFi now disconnects every few seconds and then reconnects. My phone is now acting like in a ping pong match.
I already installed the latest EU firmware 13.0.3.0. I tried switching to Lineageos but also the same result. Is there any way to fix this?
Update: I noticed something really interesting. I'm running a Fritzbox 7590 on version 7.39-99878. I noticed the issues only on my private wifi. If I activate the guest wifi everything works.
Hello, I found the answer here: https://www.ip-phone-forum.de/threa...ndig-wlan-verbindung-zu-fritzbox-6490.312991/
