This happened to me a couple days ago and I swore that it was permanently dead ... but luckily I found and followed this guide to bring it back to life... the forum isnt letting me post the link so google this heading "Solution: Recover From Hard Bricked OnePlus One"

Nevermind, solved, silly mistake lol.
It is probably just hung up on the update. It would not get to the boot animation if you fully bricked it. If this does not fix it then you either did not do it right or I am wrong and there will be some other way to fix it. Google how you get into recovery mode, and how you erase data ,cache, and dalvik cache once in recovery mode for this specific model. It should boot up after this.
P.S. hit the thanks button to show your appreciation if this helped.

and what is the problem, how you bricked?
I recently upgraded my P920 to 4.0.4 using xbsall's port, then installed BadSoul's mod. Today I downgraded to GB again, following the guide because my phone had become so slow as to be unuseable. When I reached the android setup screen, my phone displayed the message "Not enough free space. Clean up your data and try again." Attempting to connect to a wifi network causes the same message to appear. There are 5.57GB free.
Because of this, I can't install apps from the market, and the same method of rooting that I've used before (megatron_windows) isn't working either.
I tried using CWM to restore my backup earlier, but after doing so I was unable to boot - the LG logo would appear for a couple of seconds, then the phone powered off again.
So...my question is, how can I get my phone restored to a useable state again, if that's even possible at this point?
Silly question bit... did you try factory reset?

I hadn't actually...thanks for the suggestion. I just tried it and ...you are amazing, thank you -so- much. I hadn't even thought of that, too much stress. Factory reset worked
So...I guess there are no silly questions then

can you guide me how to do it.
i am not familiar with that.
please
It's a cache overload.
You don't need to factory reset , just clear the cache it'll solve your problem.
Should you encounter this problem again , factory reset would erase your data and leave you with a lot of work to be done , erasing the cache is rather painless.
Cheers.

Greetings all,
I don't see any place to add a question, so I'm asking it here. If this is incorrect, someone please direct me to where it should go.
I have a Huawei M881.Android 4.04.
I used Kingo root to root it, with no problem.
My issue is, how do I get rid of apps I don't need? Should I get a new ROM?
Again, my apologies if this post is in the wrong place, but I can't find where to post a question.
Many thanks, all.
I think titanium backup can remove bloatwares. I never use it though. I used clean master to remove mine. Both apps required root permission to do it. I used a paid app before but i forgot the name.

Hi,
I installed a new ROM for my Samsung yesterday evening (For anyone who wants to see - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461009)
It worked absolutely fine for the first few hours, and I noticed a huge speed improvement and it all just felt great, but as soon as I went to sleep, I left the tablet turned on throughout the night, as I came back to go on it, I noticed that it was turned off, so I powered it on, it just froze at the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" logo screen, and nothing happened, so my next thought was to put it into recovery mode and try to fix the problem, again, same thing happened, so I rebooted it anyway, but this time, nothing is showing, I left the tablet to charge for 6 hours (To see if I had drained the battery) and still nothing, it does not respond to any events (Charging, Power buttons), I would like to know if I could fix this as I use my tablet for my studies and its a huge part of my daily routine, any help is greatly appreciated and I will try to reply as much as possible!
Thanks in advance,
~ Josh
P.S - If I make any mistakes in this post please do not hesitate to tell me as this is my first post

bro no need to worry we are here
first tell me that before flashing this rom did you wipe cache partition , factory reset ,wipe dalvik cache cos these things are important for a clean flashing of any rom
also try these things now
first just try wipe cache partition in recovery then see if you are able to boot or not
if still no good then try all that i have mentioned
if still no good try reflashing stock rom from odin
good luck

good then
try and succeed :good::good:
So after I updated my phone's bootloader and modem today it caused my phone to stop recognizing my sim card. So I tried using odin to bring back to stock, but that did not work. And now I am stuck with a frozen startup screen and it won't let me boot back into download mode as it just restarts the screen. I am open to any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.
