What ROM I should install?

Sorry for my bad english, im really trying :victory:
Im using actually the unnoficial lineage os 15.1 but sometimes I have random reboots (Yes, I know its a beta), so I was thinking if I should go back to android nougat or even came back to one of the official ROMs like Oxygen Os or Cyanogen OS, but I was thinking to install a ROM like XOSP, Flyme Os or MIUI 8 because sometimes with the ROMs AOSP fells like the customization is missing, Im actually using Substratum
If someone here can help me or give me your opinion I will really apreciate that, anything idea is a good idea, have a nice day :fingers-crossed:

Using MIUI 8 as my daily driver .. so far so good... Camera and battery are perfect..

Im actually using Miui and its really good, but Im having a little problem, doesnt work the screen off gestures, do you know a way to fix that?

Unfortunately screen off gesture havent been implemented in this rom

[Question] Are any of the custom ROMs worth using over OOS?

Title.
Curious what rom everyone is using.

PE , HavocOS and LOS

So far Havoc seems to be the best Custom ROM at least to me. I've tried all of them.

Havoc or any of the modified magisk module flavors...

Havoc. Seems like it has the best Substratum compatibility which is important to me.

I've tried havoc but always come back to renovate module on oos.

Stock ROM is actually good, just debloat using TomatoT scripts. Do check AOSiP.. love it for its simplicity

dont forget omni treskmod... download from their website

I've tried Pixel Experience and Omni Treskmod, but they don't feel as smooth/polished as stock OOS. I'll be testing AOSiP, Havoc, and Paranoid Android soon.
Android Q DP4 is awesome but unusable for me because I need Android Auto (It doesn't work on DP4).

You'll probably have the best luck with aosip, afaik he's the only one actively trying to fix aa and in the newest release he fixed the screen flicker, although I haven't tested yet so idk if it still makes the phone slow, or if the buttons are still missing.
As for ops question all the custom roms are really good, but I don't think any of them quite compete with oos and renovate ice. Give it a few months and I'm sure it'll be a different story, but for now oxygen is the most rock solid.

So what's the best Android 10 AOSP room in your opinion and why? I'm reading that people are having problems with the WiFi?

Nice! Do you know if the WiFi issue is present on lineage? Can OOS stock cam be installed on it?

You can use slot A for OOS and slot B for Lineage Os 17.1 but first you have to install OOS on both slots and disable vbmeta after that before flashing anything.

Best AOSP rom in my opinion is AOSPA-Extened it has the Features I'm missing from the original AOSPA, why is this my favorite aosp rom?
It runs on Arters Kernel wich i absolutely love !
It has nice and useful features as screen stabilizer when u're driving or running (don't text and drive lol)
It has very very good battery life
It's buttery smooth and snapy
BUT it's missing some features which i love on OOS and yes i have those WiFi connectivity problems as well, it's in an Early stage but stable, but for now not my daily driver, btw it has that weird screen flickering along the fingerprint unlocking progress, the screen turns on bright for unlocking and goes back to normal for me it's like a flickering and it's anoying me...
my Personal and favorite Rom is the pure OOS + f2fs + arters kernel + RiCe tweaks,
I got everything i need from OOS, everything i need from AOSP
AND i got the McLaren themes which i absolutely love, so this is my daily, it runs for me much better with that tweaks, battery life is just insane.
If you are happy with pure AOSP go with AOSPA or even with AOSPA-EXTENED and u'll be happy!
But if ur missing some OOS Features try out the combination i just told u

Can someone create and manage a OOS or color os rom for 8T?

It would be nice to see a stock oos rom with a few added features or one with magisk baked in instead of seeing all aosp roms. idk just a thought, i love the oos rom and dont want to move to aosp.

Well, thats where magisk comes in really. If you cant find a module or root app that foes what you want im sure theres some devs out there who might be interested.

I agree. Id love to see more options android 12 betas, coloros, realmeui, nord2 oos or even gsi roms. A fix for my 4g/5g issues losing signal would be awesome too.
