I would like to know if a permanent root is available for Verizon Note Edge (SM-N915V). I saw this other thread about it but the user did not confirm that the process worked for him. Someone please confirm specifically for this model. Dont want to risk bricking my phone. Thanks.

Hi,
i bought a samsung galaxy S5, i was told it is unlocked, when i tried to use it in india, i came to know that it is region locked. i tried calling samsumg, but no one help.
i rooted the device and then tried using the regionlockaway app. i get the 'An Unexpected error occurred !#3". could you please let me know what does this mean.
i googled it, i see some guys got this error but there is no answer on how to get ride of it. please help. i bought this phone for my dad but he cant use it.
