I want to overclock my device. Its intex aqua y2 pro. I hv searched the whole web but didn't found any custom kernel or rom for my device. And in order to overclock my device i need to flash a custom kernel. Will i be successful if I'll flash a custom rom or kernel made for another device?
Please help me.

I have xperia tipo and earlier I flashed xperia ion rom suddenly Mobile got bricked,this is becoz not every device has same hardware and drivers
The kernel, put very simply, is a bit of software that tells the operating system how to use the hardware. CPU, GPU, RAM, screen, buttons, etc. Thus, kernels are device specific. ROMs are also device specific. NEVER flash a ROM, kernel, or recovery that isn't for your specific device, unless you want a battery powered paperweight.
But i discovered a lollipop custom update for unite 2. I asked there should i flash it in my intex aqua y2 pro. They said yes you can. Also on another website it is written that device name is only for personal preference. But a device with same android version is also compatible. I dont know what to do? Also can i overclock my processor without flashing a custom kernel? My current pre installed kernel version is 3.4
Don't flash anything unless it is specifically for your device. You will get a very expensive paperweight if you just flash random things.
is it possible xperia rom install in yureka mobile ?

No you cannot Install a Rom from other device to other device it will make your device unusable and unrecoverable .. Only Install the Rom Which is Released for your device specifically not from other device

Thanks for using XDA Assist you cannot use a rom of other device on your device flashing anything which not specified for your device will hard brick your device hence use stuffs related for your device only !
