I know it CAN have. I ask WHY have it, when you end up with 2 pairs of buttons, which somehow doesn't seem very intuitive to me.
I'm sure CM will come but not yet and this "blog" looks pretty spammy.
Exynos is usually a real PIA for CM devs, I wouldn't expect anything solid for quite some time.

Right! was that the reason CM devs abandoned CM for Galaxy S5 G900H? No wonder, it was released in April 2014 and there is still no CM for it. BTW G900H is an unlocked model.

I would imagine. The only thing S6 owners have going for them is that every variant uses the exynos. Still, I wouldn't hold your breath though.
Fake!
The CM version shows 11 and its running 5.0.2 0.o

Cyanogenmod is pure vanilla Android with extra options thrown in. Since vanilla Android uses software buttons, Cyanogenmod gives you the option to use them as well. You can either turn off your hardware buttons, or assign other functions to them and use them along with the software buttons. I personally have the software buttons on my Note 4 turned off and I doubt my wife will use the software buttons on her S6 when I upgrade it to CM12 when available, but it's all about options.

This is not completely true. Cm is very far from pure Android. They change way too much from the base Android code. This is why you see different bases in roms. You have a CM base or an AOSP base.
100 % sure its fake because cyanogenmod version in this screen shot is 11 and android is 5.0.2 and build date is of 2014 leave sources i guess at that time s6 wasn't released

Agreed and if you're planning to run CM its a bit crazy as you will lose fingerprint security and camera quality will be trash.

I am able to upgrade in september, and was wondering if i should get galaxy s3, or wait for the next nexus or nexuses, because i heard they have better development support. Is it worth it to wait, or is there enough support on s3, being so popular. Also, how long would i have to wait for the next nexus
Nexuses have great support, but if you need a phone now go ahead, the s2 is getting jellybean.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nexus devices get updates directly which is fantastic, there is no waiting involved for manufacturers to add all the bloatware. I have an S3 and know that Samsung will be quite dellayed on any jelly bean update, so I have just accepted that any jellybean I get will be a custom rom but I'm okay with that. Personally my next phone would be a nexus, but I have enjoyed my S2 and currently love my S3

they really are, ive been burned thrice times..sadly ..only reason i tested the nexus is because i knew google was supporting it...if you dont care about the mediocre features of the s3 or dont care for touchwiz i suggest you wait for the next nexus..if you care about them then get the s3..but im sure you know or if you dont know..samsung is horrible with updates ..i got the behold...smh..then the galaxy s..wow..then the galaxy s 2..shouldnt have been shocked..see they dont really build up to much talk about updates..they let it ride for a year..then drop a new phone thats better and forget about the last one..if you dont care about support and updates and dont mind touchwiz and its features then i suggest get it..im not bashing the gs3 for anyone thats reading this, im just stating whats happened from past experiences and my experience with the s3, its a beautiful snappy perfect little phone well little isnt the word lol..but the features it offers if you care about customization and what not are just a gimick. if you dont care about customization like most general purchasers or just dont take the time to figure out how to do then you should get it

androidsas.com/2014/09/samsungs-android-l-update-status-report.html
Hmm, if it's true, then we should be seeing a leak on Sammobile soon I guess...
Again where is i9505???
Dec 2014 ETA for I-9500 so probably March/April 2015 for I-9505. We are still on 4.4.2 officially. Samsung traditionally slower than an injured camel with OS releases. Last Samsung phone I will ever buy. Overpriced, cheap materials, slow, battery faulty too often and laggy.
Go buy nexus and stop crying then...
Hope this is true
I really hope the S4 gets the Android L update by December !! I dont know why Samsung didnt update to the 4.4.4 version for these devices! Why so much of a delay in releasing the updates. It's still stuck on 4.4.2 for most devices.
Testing? how it can be
and since when samsung is this much fast
i just hope whenever i9505 gets L we also get new touchwizz

Mature.
Well i am sick of people writing same stuff for million times ,nobody is forcing anybody to buy samsung or any other phone...If somone really likes updates/clean ui nexus should be their choice, but imo samsung isnt that slow in updating their phones compare it to other brand phones maybe not the best but not the least either...i just hope when they update to L we just get newest ui ,art and performance updates
I think Samsung and other manufacturers will make fewer modifications of pure Android, this will speed up the updates.
Google wants the ecosystem is characterized by UI, example is the Android TV and Android Wear
http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/0...r-oems-here-are-some-of-the-interesting-ones/
I think Google wants to close the year with a marketshare of Android L as the largest evolution. The manufacturers should have received the Dev Preview build and maybe other's internal and Google have forced manufacturers to release updates sooner
This is the problem of samsung always delay in updating firmwares. Very fast when it comes to accepting our payment but very slow when it comea to updating.

Because sometimes devs need sources from samsung too.
Also the i9505 has Google Play Edition
The ROM can be ported to stock i9505
Who would want Android L with the TW skin on it.. This would take away the point of having android L.. It will be the same laggy experience all over again.. Just wait until the source is released and let the developers do their thing.. Just have patience

Unfortunately, it almost certainly will. Not to take away the achievement of the OP, but like all Exynos CM/AOSP builds, it will never be properly stable, and I doubt it will ever be usable as a daily driver, even for those who want CM so much they're willing to sacrifice the features which made this phone worth paying a premium for in the first place (camera speed/quality and edge features to give two examples). Unfortunately, this is the price we pay for having a phone with a closed source SOC. Quite simply, Samsung don't want non-TW roms running on their devices.
If the right developers get on board...this does have some potential to be a relatively decent build...however it's a hard task to get all important features to work & well. Stability is the key for a daily driver (oh it can be done) but past experience says that it won't.
Great Achievement none the less....but I hope I'm wrong in that it won't be stable and thus to be used as a daily driver.
May be proven wrong......only time will reveal all ?

It indeed can be done. I was running a decent build on my old Exynos Galaxy S2 back in the day. But as you say, it takes a long time to do and when it does get to the point of being stable it's normally as a result of a team doing it, rather than an individual. And all the main teams have walked away from developing for Samsung SOCs after Samsung went back on their word to release the source code around the time of the S2. I can't remember the last Samsung Exynos mobile phone that had a stable CM build. It might have actually been the S2.
But good luck with this. As an ex-serial flasher I might even try it out at some point.
Well said Beefheart & agree with you.....oh and we are not being Negative....this can't be ascertained from his or my post. It's realistic and perhaps even motivational ? it's experience that says it won't be as said alot of great devs have walked away from the thought of CM on a Samsung device.
We both mentioned that we hope that it progresses ....so their is NO negativity whatsoever......it's just a long road yet to be travelled and will it get to the point of Stable?

Sounds good, but i hope that's gonna be different than s6 developpement
I'm super excited about this news!!!!!
It's all great and i really appreciate that, and congratz on that because it's really hard to do it, but i got really excited when i saw this on my s6 and nothing usable and stable ended happening and now that i have the s7e i feel it will just be the same thing.

Yes Lineage Os 14.1 Sort of works on our lonely LG V10 device.
What i know so far is
NOT WORKING
Audio
Camera - Needs Camera Blob Bring Up.
Some of the Lg G4 blobs work and some dont. So thats why we need our proper camera blob bring up.
We need our help. We need to colaborate like old times android comunity is separating slowly over the years.
If we are alone and some knows 1 or 2 things about android we need to regroup and work as a team. Or we never going to have something working.
On the picks says on device that is a LGH811 (LG G4) but is not.
It says that cus the deve used lg g4 repo.
He owns the lg v10 a d lg g4 but he studies and he is trying his best.

I just had my V20 SMASHED in anger by a very lovely beautiful lady 5 nights ago. today I received my v10 (what I can afford) replacement. I guess I was foolish enough to assume that 7.0 would be available on this device. I am not a developer, however, I am able to test anything you need me to. I agree that the community has fragmented over recent years and I have stayed away because of the poop throwing and phone /engineering skills shaming I see here anymore. I am so so so sad about losing my beloved V20 but more so now that I learn that I should've researched this more upfront. My nexus 5 and 6 my 6p and even my one plus one ALL HAVE MULTIPLE 7.** ROMS I thought a 16 month old LG BAD-BOY would be in same boat but it looks more like paddling shut creek.....help?
Any news?
I can help build the ROMS. 8 core with 16gbs of RAM if that's enough.
pfff i think the devs just forget this project
any news?
I think this never will be released, the devs forget This CellPhone..... The LG V10 it's Dead....

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering why are there no ports of official ROMs used in newer models? Like 3T, or 5?
Some devs on other devices tend to do that, for example they make ports of Galaxy S8 system for S7, S6 users, etc.
Why not OnePlus? Can't we have official OP5 system ported for OPO?
Thanks.

Because the oneplus one uses 32-bit snapdragon 800. Starting from oneplus two everything uses 64-bit processors. So "can't". But there is ports of oxygen os of the oneplus x which is also 32 bit.

Heya!
In short:
We don't need any.
A little less short:
There are over a dozen ROMs still in development for Bacon, that question is almost insulting (it isn't, I'm just being dramatic, hah). Some devices get ports because there's little or no original development for them. All the major release groups also release(d) for Bacon, that beats ports by far.
Resurrection Remix, for instance, has very similar releases for OPO, OP3, OP5 and a whole list of other devices.
If you're talking about application ports, that's a different story. For example: I'm using the OnePlus 5 camera port and it works great on our OPO. The cool thing is that it works on any ROM, which provides full freedom.
Sizzled with Bacon ?
