Auto Reject List - Transfer from another phone? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a larger Auto reject list on a Note 4 that I'd like to move to my S6. Is there a better way of doing it than just retyping the entire list into the new phone?

I don't even see the auto reject option. I'm sure Verizon stripped it too

It's there. Mine are both on Verizon. Phone>More>Settings>Call Rejection>Auto reject list

Incoming call "send to" option...

Hey guys!
The NS is my 2nd Android phone, the first being the Epic 4G for about 3 weeks (no signal in home ).
Anyway, one of the cool features of the Epic was that when an incoming call came in, you had 3 options:
1) Answer/take the call
2) Send caller directly to voice mail
3) Send caller an automatic text response (it offered some common replies, as well as allowed you to customize your own text responses in its settings).
I don't know if this was a Samsung feature, or an Android 2.1 feature, but I was wondering if there was a way to set this up on our NS's, or if there's an app that offers something similar to this?
Thx!

Yeah, that's what I was a afraid of - too bad, as it's an awesome feature! Do you know of an app that can do something similar? Thx
Back on 2.1 if you hit the power button it would silence, and if you slide to reject it would send to voicemail immediately.
I'm not sure if it's still like that as I've been on CM for quiet a while now, and those were changed.

[Q] Touchwiz style in-call notification menu thingy...

In touchwiz, during a call, there is a drop-down notification item that allows you to handle some call functions such as ending, muting, or returning to the call screen. This was very functional for work as I am often away from the call screen during a call, and also need to quickly mute as well.
Our default dialer (not even sure it's the dialer that handles this functionality), allows for hanging up and returning to the call screen from the menu, but not muting. Anyone know if there's a way to add this? I tried finding a screenshot of how this is done in touchwiz, but couldn't.
Thanks in advance!
I'm struggling with whether to sell this phone, or the Note 3. This functionality would tilt the scale towards the OPO.

This phone simply doesn't have that functionality. There's the possiblity that there's an Xposed module that might do it, but considering that Xposed isn't compatible with Lollipop that's probably irrelevant.
Just wanted to bump this as we have a new version of Cynogen. Still a pertinent question for me.

Need some way of improving/fixing the call log...

The stock call log on my OnePlus is **completely** terrible, useless trash..
It seems like anywhere I press on an entry in the log, it results in a call instantly being placed to that number. Rather than being given options like "add to contacts" or "view number," etcetera.
Additionally, the call log shows inaccurate, useless information about when the call took place (stuff like, 1 hour ago, or 3 days ago.) Utterly worthless.
Whether this is accomplished through a paid Play Store app, or if there's some way that I can reskin or change settings to make it work the way it should, I don't care. I need a resolution, I'm ready to chuck this thing into the ocean! So infuriating.
Phone is rooted, 64gb model, 11.0-XNPH44S
Thanks in advance!

Dude. You just don't know how to use it. From the main phone app screen press the small clock icon in the bottom left of the screen to access the full call log.

From the call log screen press the square contact icon on the left side of the phone number, this will open a pop-up, from there you can add the contact.

From the call log screen just hit the small clock icon to the right of the phone number and another screen will open showing the exact date/time of the call, whether it was incoming or outbound, and exactly how long it lasted.
Whether this is accomplished through a paid Play Store app, or if there's some way that I can reskin or change settings to make it work the way it should, I don't care. I need a resolution, I'm ready to chuck this thing into the ocean! So infuriating.

Maybe take the time to learn how to use a device properly before badmouthing it and going to throw it away.

"Set as priority" missing in App Notifications

I noticed on a forum posting a feature that appears to be missing from my phone. The "Set as priority" is not available as shown in the image I obtained from the net. I also included a screenshot from my phone that shows it missing. Does anyone also have it missing as well? If so, I wonder if it's carrier specific?
It could be from a US version, to a Non US Version. I have ATT us, and I have the priority option.

That's very possible. Does anyone in Canada have the setting or is it like mine? I'm with Bell Mobility.
I just want to add that I can set application as priority as outlined in the screenshots. Does everyone have the same type of settings?
Can anyone in Canada confirm that they do or do not have the "Set as priority" in the App Notifications screen?
Bumping up this thread. I'm just hoping for a confirmation that I am not the only one.

Yea I have an s9 and I have no option to set priority notifications. I did on my s7 but not my s9. Its really annoying because I cant get my gmail to keep notifications. I have tried everything I can fine. Set all notification settings. Settings in battery optimizations and gmail still doesnt keep notifications. Like my phone still keeps putting it to sleep or something

Question Possible to disable rtt (real time text) button?

My new A32 5G on t-mobile comes with rtt call button set to "visible during the calls". The only other option is "always visible". As a result RTT call button is always on a call screen and I already accidntally activated it a couple of times during the call thus switching to RTT mode. I am never going to intentionally initiated RTT mode on my side and even though the intended user of this phone is hard of hearing, that person will in fact be completely lost if they do initiate it (and they will do so by accident). So I have a couple of questions.
First, since I have not seen this discussed yet I wonder whether other t-mobile users also have that "feature" or am I a rare exception? (Though I have two devices and both have RTT visible during all calls.)
The second question is -- is there a way to disable that button?

Do you use the original dialer or a google phone dialer? In my case I realized that the problem only exists with google phone (which is the one I use). The original Samsung dialer has the RTT entry safely hidden in the three dot overflow menu. At least when RTT is set to "only visible during the calls" in the settings.
I still prefer using google phone and that would need "not shown" (or whatever the correct name) entry that Samsung removed from the settings.

You can disable that feature on dialer menu, rtt was implemented by Android you could aslo disable said package

Apparently, via other forums, if your caller has RTT on, you get it automatically (unconfirmed).
My Galaxy S10+ has NO off switch for RTT. The default dialer via Verizon/Samsung took a UI dive recently.
I installed the Google dialer and the UI was better, but RTT was on EVERY call.
I had to get RID of it, and finally, I found ACR Phone Dialer in the Google Play Store:
Highly recommend.
