You just move the one file the OP said the rest can stay on your sdcard and use astro to install them at least that's what I did.

Yes astro file manager and no after installing them you can delete the files or back them up onto your computer like i do.

Real ICS Dialer for CM7.

Layouts have been messed up, this is still in developing mod. Please don't use for now.
Many of you who have tested ICS, would have definetely liked the ICS dialer.
Well, Guess what? It's now available for CM7 too!!
Phone.Apk is attached.
Please Follow the Instructions well, because I've tested it and it has no bugs whatsoever.
Installation Procedure:
Copy the file in the root directory on your sd card.
Rename the file to Phone.apk
turn on airplane mode.
Make sure ur system partition is set to R/W mode
open terminal from your phone.
type the following commands, one by one.
su
cp /sdcard/Phone.apk /system/app
chmod 644 /system/app/Phone.apk
reboot
Now, when you place a call or receive one, You will have the ics like dialer.
NOTE : You need to enable in-call touch UI. To enable, go to Settings > Call Settings > enable In-call touch UI.

Make sure you have followed the terminal emulator way properly, and your system needs to be in R/W mode. Try testing it, by someone calling you and accept. If you have in-call touch buttons in the dialer, it has succesfully worked.

Great job but doesn't quite come out as expected.

This MOD is not provided for HDPI phone (only ldpi and mdpi)
please mod it for HDPI devices

Good to have, but could not get it working on dell streak 5 CM 7.
Phone crashes continuously on reboot. Had to reflash rom to get back to normal.

Drop box sync

I wonder how could i let my device upload and sync specific images folder automatically?!
I have tried copying the images to camera folder but the copied images were not uploaded!!!
Any suggestions without using third party app ?

Go to Dropbox -> settings -> Turn On Camera Upload
Now Dropbox could sync all the photos in your camera folder..

It's already on, but doesn't upload all pics in my device... ex: the images received via Whatsapp !

You have to put all the photos you want to sync in the camera folder, you did it?
If yes, try to reinstall the app, and wipe the cache before reinstalling it!

I ve found a nice hidden feature in stock musicplayer the famous SRS WOW HD effect, in order to activate it you need :
Decompile musicplayer.apk
Go to res/values
Open array.xml
Add under:

save the file, recompile and install it in system/app

Hi Zohawkish. Good work in finding it out. However I think just adding a value in array may not be enough. There should be a change somewhere is smali too (cannot look at it myself due to time constraint)
After using this player concert hall preset acts as custom. Similarly all other presets have changed too.

thank you for this mod. I have a problem, could you please add a cwm zip for the music player with this mod. Cuz i have deleted the stock one etc... but when i tried to install it, it gives me application cannot be installed. Thanks in advance

are you rooted ? and did you deleted any system apps?

Did you do factory reset after update?

Thanks everyone! I flashed MM and rotation started to work. I then uninstalled some system apps and that's what broke rotation. I reflashed again and disabled the same apps and rotation was fine! Weird but I'm all good now
