So far, I've tested the following ROMs with this app:
-Pyroice (Keyboard shortcuts weren't working, might have been just me. VNC Worked fine though.)
Shortcuts such as PG UP to simulate a press of the "Menu" key
& END to simulate a press of the power button.
-MIUI (No issues at all)

I actually have seen apps like logmein to surf your PC from your android but not the other way around =^)

Are you using the Sense version or the AOSP version? I was using the AOSP version when I tested it, it should work.

VNC is pretty awesome, especially if you're away from your house and you need quick access to your phone. I haven't had any issues with it

I was curious to know if there was a "modified" .apk available (perhaps extracted from a Droid Razr or T-Mo SGSII) that supported the full remote control features of the LogMeInRescue+mobile subscription (which I have) to allow for full remote control (not just file system access) on any Android device? Example is the ZumoCast app which was modified to work on non-moto devices.
For further clarification for those who may not fully understand what I am asking for:
1. This is not about controlling a computer with your phone, but the exact opposite (so don't say just use LogMeIn, it is different than rescue+mobile)
2. The LogMeInRescue+Mobile app available in the play store will only allow file transfers
3. The full version of LogMeInRescue (which allows full remote control) is included in the factory roms of only a limited number of devices, the Droid Razr being an example. For more info, look here:

I suspect there is some dumb marketing reason why this app isn't available to all devices on all carriers, but as a subscriber to the rescue+mobile service, it frustrates me to no end that I can't put this on any android device, and I am hoping someone else knows what I am talking about and has built this apk from a ROM and given it the "zumocast" treatment.

One of my Android Tablet Touch doesn't work well so I want to install an app that I can remote from my Android Phone. I don't use Teamviewer because it work only with internet connection. Does anyone have a good idea?
Hi, i need to have the remote control of my Lenovo tablet (now there is"LC" firmware changed).
I noticed that through Teamviewer, even if I installed a proper add-on for Lenovo, my tablet is listed in my devices list and when you try to connect it the connection is aborted.
I don't know why.
I tried to use Logmein but it seems that you can't access an Android device.
Something else or trick is good acceptable!!!

Do you know any application to control an android 4.0.4. from another android or at least from the PC?
I've tried many options already, none worked.
The device to control is rooted, it is a Gigabyte TM75A-V with the broken touch that I use with a mouse.
