Ok, so I've had my Fuze like 4 or 5 months now and have had no problems until a day or two ago. I try to do anything, my screen does not work properly. I touch somewhere and it doesn't register it 95% of the time. I looked at the screen and there seems to be a little liquid under there but I don't know how it got there, I put a screen protector on it the whole time I've had it and it just appeared out of nowhere and it's never had any kind of liquid spilt on it or anything. I try to click on the text box for SMS in touchflo 2.1 and it won't go in there and it starts moving the text messages up and down and opening task manager randomly and whenever I open the start menu it goes right into moving the items around. I have tried reflashing but have not yet tried to go back to stock. I'm going to try that and if it doesn't work I'm takin it in to AT&T to see if they can either give me a new one or fix it.
I have had the same problem with my screen on Touch Pro.
I had to get the phone repaired under warranty. I think HTC replaced the screen.
Search the forums, quite a few people have had this problem.
Has it been exposed to heat?
Seeing as your a fellow texan, have you left it in your car or under direct sunlight for a prolonged period?
I'd look up an At&t Device Support center and take it to them, they should change the device on the spot if there's no physical damage and its still under warranty.
Make sure you revert to the Stock/Shipped ROM and SPL (i wouldn't worry too much about the SPL though if you can't get it, i've turned in 2 devices with a hardSPL and nothing ever happened, but its better to be safe then sorry right?)
best of luck
This Galaxy SL of mine, that's out of warranty period just had its touch go bonkers. Been going through every post on XDA to find a way for this. I'm a noob, need help badly.
I press the unlock button, the touch doesnt work. I try again twice, then I'm able to unlock the screen. And then two more touches, the touch screen doesnt work again. The local service guy tried a combination of kernel+os and then the touch worked all right for about two weeks, and then, same problem again. The idiot I am, I forgot to note the combination.

I have a feeling this is a problem that can be rectified by software. There are lot of threads on this issue, because the problem's basically in India, where a totally defective batch was sold. Some have paid big and replaced the touch, and the problem has still resurfaced again!
I have really bad words at Samsung for selling such a bad stock. Praying some brilliant XDA dev solves this issue!
P.S: There are lot of posts on the issue, but consider this to be a post that just covers all of them. I've researched all of them for a month, and this is the summary of the issue.

Most probably your digitizer needs to be replaced. Too bad you're out of warranty. Same happened with me after 6 months of the purchase. It had to be replaced.
Im also having this same problem.
Also my Touch screen acts weird .. It randomly touches even if i didn't touch it.. Then , i will lock the screen and clean the screen with a cloth. Then the problem will be solved. But it will appear again..
Seems like our devices are about to die.. Im using it for about 2 years .. I think its time to replace this phone...
Phones have a life of 2 years only ???
I faced a similar kind of problem in which a part of the screen went unresponsive.. the problem stayed for a couple of days no matter which rom i was on.. even on stock GB. But to my surprise, the problem disappeared after a couple of days & it never happened again! Hope it doesnt..
Hello everyone!
I have been visiting the site for a long time but this is the first time I actually post.
Well the problem I have with my nexus is that the screen stopped working a few days ago, but the touchscreen is still responding. I was walking at the beach with the phone in my pocket and after some time I realized the phone was not working. I suppose it was the humidity because the phone was completely dry.
Now the weird thing is that the touchscreen works perfectly, I can feel it when I unblock the phone, but the screen is completely black. Anyone has any idea how to fix this? I already changed the screen of my old nexus 4 a few times, but is there any other option? because I do not want to pay for the whole screen replacement when the touchscreen is working. I would say that it is just some contacts not working properly, but I do not really know how to fix that.
I hope someone has an idea how to fix it.
Thank you!
Maybe this thread will point in the right direction. Mentioned is flashing stock recovery.

Thanks for the reply! I tried that but it did not work and after the battery run out I realized it was not charging either. So I think the only thing left is to send it to repair to LG or something...
Hi there,
I hope someone can help me. This is my last chance
Last week I broke my screen and replaced it with a screen I bought from Ebay. I did this more then once for friends, so everything went perfect
The screen works, touch works, colors are fine, but the aligment is wrong.
If I touch in the top region, then it takes the higher part of my finger
If I touch in the middle region, then Everything is fine
If I touch in the bottom region, then the lower port of my finger is used
This is not possible to get used to. So...I think I need to recalibrate my screen some way..
I looked and found a tool from 2012 or so, but that did not work because it cannot install. (TouchRecalibrate.apk , calibrate.apk, ..).
I looked for other apps in the store. Nothing that helps
I tried looking for settings but I can only find old threads that refer to calibration, so I assume that this function no longer exist.
I used the servicemenu but cannot find any calibration there.
I reinstalled the phone as well (factory default) + safe mode and I googled for hours.
The tool I am looking for is a tool that ask to put your finger on dots all over the screen and that it then generates some setting file that the operating system uses. No idea if such a program exists?
If someone has an idea, please let me know
The phone is not rooted but if needed I want to do this.
ps. feeling sad about this happening again. The phone is not even a year old.
My old Z2 broke as well... I wish that they go back to plastic..like the good old Xperia Arc S. I dropped that phone hundreds of times
greetings,

Hi guys,
I'm looking for some help and advice ! Long story short (will try), I purchased a used z5 with a display/screen issue (I guess).
The first owner told me he dropped the phone and that screen was cracked and not working anymore, so he brought it to the repair store... they replaced the screen with a new one, but they told him that the new screen was broken / dead on arrival, and that they would order a new one to replace it again. The guy couldn't wait another month to get is phone back working again, so he quit with the phone like that and purchased a used samsung.
I purchased the standard sony z5 from him. The screen have color lines in it... sometimes purple lines on the left of the screen, all from top to bottom, sometimes it's different (like right now it's alonost all white), but it is not working at all - I don't see anything useful on the screen.
The phone seems to be working though because the flash/photo work with the lower button on the left side... there is an alarm after midnight on it (I wake up like an idiot the first time it came up, trying to stop the alarm, but fingerprint is not mine and screen is not working... I was at the hotel, and damn it was loud... I think it waked up everyone in the other rooms around me before stopping it with power/fingerprint + volume up ;p)
So, I'm wondering if there's only the screen to replace again (with a good one), or if it's worst...
Does anyone know about that kind of issue, and which kind of screen would you put on it ? I want to put a good quality one to use the phone after that.
Thanks in advance for any help and advices !
