Instructions:
1.extract the twrp.rar and zedge.rar file to ur external sd card...This is only twrp compatible u cannot use cwm recovery to use this but u can install twrp restore this rom then again u can flash back to cwm recovery. 2.after u go to twrp go to wipe option...then factory reset, then wipe system,then wipe cache and dalvik cache,then wipe android secure.
3.then go to restore option choose external memory and restore it...boot and ur done....enjoy...!!!

Bug fix -1.download the below mentioned alcolawlThemeMMSbubble-v1.33.zip and keep in ur sd card..open titanium backup...select backup/restore option.....scroll down to...messaging 4.2.2-Dar...3(SMS/MMS PREFS)....touch it once and choose un-install !..then press yes.... followed by another yes
2.Now go to twrp or cwm recovery whichever u have and flash the alcolawlThemeMMSbubble-v1.33.zip...then wipe cache/dalvik cache...reboot...thats it and its fixed...!!

Now Read this Question And Answers its Important !!! im writing this for the basic users as they have requested to do me so .
Advance users can just go through it at a glance but you should atleast have a look .
Q1] How to install this Rom ?
Answer - Download the Deadspace.zip file from above download link.
Then Extract all the files to a folder DeadSpace.
Go to your memory card and create this folder if not created " clockworkmod" .
Go inside clockworkmod and make another folder "backup".
Then move the Deadspace Folder to "clockworkmod/backup/ (here) . " , i.e inside the backup folder .
Now if you have installed CWM in your phone , then switch off your phone . Press vol down and power button together .
You will see CWM menu , in that search option backup & Restore . select using power button and navigate through vol up down keys .
After entering into that option select restore , you will see the Dead Space Folder click on it .
It will show you some text like " CHECKING Md5 SUMS ........"
Atlast you will see " Install complete from sdcard "
Now Reboot your Phone . And Enjoy this fantastic Rom. !!!!
Q2] There's no Keyboard !!!!!
Answer :- Yes , you right there's no keyboard in the rom , because the modded keyboard cannot be installed in system location so i attached that Keyboard below , install it internally . !!
Q3 ] How to install Samusng Lock Screen in this Rom .
Answer :- Press Home button . long press on the screen .
Select Shortcut option. , then select Activities option .
Scroll to last and find Option like Lock Screen . click on that ,
Many activities will be opened , we select the third activity .
Now a shortcut will be created on your homescreen . click on that
And do your favorite Settings you want and Dont forget to enable the lockscreen and the Swipe screen option in the first field .
Enjoy your Samusng Lock !!!! you can remove that shortcut if you want and add by doing the same process.

it is because of the change in s/w of your phone . i tried to fix , but i couldn't ...... though i'm on it with my friend Dominic to fix that .
Q5 ] Hey where is Google Play Store !!
Answer :- The google playstore is frozen . to make it visible go to the app link2sd and search for google Playstore .
long press it and select Unfrezze . I freezed it while making the backup sorry for that .
you can also reinstall the app provided by me below ,if the app always remains frozen after reboot .
dont forget to clear data and cache before reinstalling this app.
Q6] The About Phone Option gets Force close when I Select it, Why ?.
Answer :- Yes , thats right . Dont worry it will remain for 1st or 3rd time then it will get fixed automaticlly !!
Caused due to modding of app and different s/w versions of this phone !!
Q7 ] Touch not works when i restored this backup ?
Answer :- OK !! . According to Group descussions we ended up with a solution that u replace the boot.img file from the backup i provided for rom, with the one in which your touch works !!. and then Restore !!
Q8 ] Can i flash another rom directly , if i dont like this ,.? my s/w is 2.0.2.
Answer :- IMPORTANT NOTE , USERS WITH s/w 2.0.2 , dont try to install the framework mods and ROMS directly .
It will Result it in Bootloop .
To fix this Make a Backup of your previous Rom [before installing DeadSpace rom] and after restoring that you can change to whatever
you want , like flashing Frameworks etc ........
Note :- Also if Titanium Backup is giving force Close then Reinstall this app in internal storage !!
Try this Rom !!! ITS JUST BEING AWESOME WITH ALL FEATURES ABOVE !!! And dont Drooll over it ,..........:laugh:

Circled button calculator was introduced in Android 4.2.2 by Samsung & my theme is based on Android 4.3.
I've modded the stock apps but not ported the stock Android 4.2 or 4.3 apps. So porting S4 calculator for Note is kinda hard job for me bro.

Stock LS6.. but..these apps have all the features of aryamod like call rec and all. so dont worry about losing features.

4. reboot into philz recovry mode.
5. select "install zip"
6. select zip file and install it.

I flshed it through philz recovery but nothing happens....the apps didnt changed...it shows "installation compelete but still nothing

In this case.. you have to extract all the apps and push them into your system/app folder...replace them...set permissions r-w-r-r then reboot.

As we are currently getting latest official 4.4.2 update to our beloved Note 8.0 tablet,
I thought I should start a new fresh threads for ported apps from other Samsung devices (such as S5, S4, Note3, etc) that may work well on our Note 8.0 4.4.2.
Please note that because each Samsung devices has different DPI resolution, different specs, some ported apps may not look good or may get FCs on Note 8 tablet, so play around with DPI change using App Setting Xposed.
This thread most likely act as a Repository Ported Apps. I can't really promise you that I will keep update the list daily or even weekly, but I will try my best to keep it up.
Most of ported apps listed below only works with Samsung + KitKat (4.3/4.4.2) Touchwiz + Deodexed ROMs combination.
Some ported apps can be installed as normal apk file, but some requires to push either System\app or System\priv-app folder, along with required libs, framework jar files, etc.. thus require root. Please note that; some ported app(s) provided as flashable zip file, but some are not, so make sure you read instruction before you post the question here in this thread.
Please don't make any requests to me to port an app, as I am extremely busy with work and family, however if I can, I will try to help whenever possible. In addition please check download links, which linked to original ported app thread that where ported app resides, where you should see additional install instructions there.

hmmm... most of this wont work on our device since we have a different framework & dpi size... i have test mostly all of it... but some will work fine... so if you guys wanna use it on your device, please make a nandroid backup of your current system using custom recovery so you can restore when you screw up something.
Anyway to support OP effort... i gave you this... a functional SNote 3 port tested from note 10.1 thread (thank to them that we can get this). but i mix and match this one so it work fine on our note 8.0. what i mean by functional... it got ideasketch and other function like old snote. I have test this on deodexed system.
How to install it.
1. you need to be root so you can delete the old Snote. It wont work if both exist.
2. goto recovery and flash the zip.
that's all. oh anyway... there is also scrapbook in the zip as well.

I have seen somewhere moded AccuWeather Widget from Tab pro 8 inch one, which may fit nicely in our tablet, too bad I did not bookmark it...I will look for it.
I installed S note3 and scrapbook via recovery and works fine beside the default S note

can you stop asking that in every thread... someone will port it later on... time is needed... its not like a copy paste apk to make it to function... some editing here and there are needed... :silly:

yup it have dependencies... lib and framework...
So having upgraded my n5110 to 4.4.2 and rooted it, I'm interested in trying some of the apps. I see in the original post some apps are to be deleted and the new version copied in. Is there a recommened tool or method for doing this? I'm a rooting newb
OK have had some time to learn about this tonight. I was able to use Heimdall to install Philz recovery.img onto my n5110 using my Mac. From there I can install the .zip file after I copied it onto my SD card.
The S-Note3 edan1979 made up works well and the covert written text feature is nice. Works very well even with my horrific handwritting.
Has anyone tried a new S-Planner?

Don't delete old version, just copy it to your SD Card or somewhere or just rename the file, in case something does not work, you can always revert it back to original.
if it is flashable zip, make a full backup, then flash it, if something goes wrong, you can always restore it back.
modding air command is not easy...
edit... with the help of dr.ketan... manage to get the air command to pop up... but since we dont have the png in the framework... dont have picture... just the writing... all button working though but still got error on the scrapbook (app close when saving), pen window got nothing, other button works...

hey, check Note 8 developer section, ykkfive thread...I know his port from note 3 to note 8 has functional air command...not sure how he made it work...

Hello, has been long since register here but not really active
so in this thread I want to share Dolby Digital Plus Audio with the tweaks I got from delux_mafia ROM in PowerRom v3
What you need :
Custom Rom
Custom Recovery (in my case i'm using TWRP)
You must already have busybox installed if not try using ROM Toolbox by jrummyApp to install it
How To install :
Save the file in your external sdcard
Reboot into recovery mode
Select Install
Choose the file from where you save them
Restart and enjoy!
Note:
I haven't test this on any device except my own device, so if you find error after you flash this file, for example it always force close, try to clear dalvik cache. If it didn't solve the problem, feel free to comment at this thread or send me PM.
And if it work on your device please comment at this thread, so I can list your device below.
