[Completed] Need to short some pins to get to QDLOAD 9008 mode - XDA Assist

Hi, I have an LG L90 D415, and I hardcore bricked it. I need to short some pins (per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56608822&postcount=2), but this guide covers only the LG G2. Given that my phone has this mode, but no documentation on how to enter this mode, where can I find some hardware hackers to help me out with this? I have the phone disassembled and ready to go, I just need help with the actual pin shorting.
Cheers!

Hi there,
I see you already founded your way on XDA, and know where to post such a question, in the specific forum for you device.
Please post there any further question.

The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. It is essential you are in the correct forum for your device model; what works for one can ruin another.

[Completed] [Q] htc valente hard bricked

Hi.
I'm new here so pardon any error...
i was trying to unlock the network using a tutorial i found online.
but after editing the "mmcblk0p4" file the phone shuts down and won't come on. i tried plugging it to pc and it shows a "qhusb_dload" driver window. i tried using linux also and it shows it in qdl mode.
I don't know what to do because i''ve tried so many options adb and fastboot can't detect the phone. any useful information will be appreciated.
thanks.
Hi,
Devices that show up as "QSUSB_DLOAD" are usually beyond repair at home. Usually need a service center to fix them.
But feel free to ask for other ideas here..

Good luck!

thanks.
is there no way to fix the bootloader through the terminal because that was what caused the issue. i can read my partition from there and i found some code that worked on the evo4g but i don't know if it could work on this one.
Like I said, on some devices "QSUSB_DLOAD" is fatal... But asking in the section I linked may help you get other suggestions.

On a Samsung for example... That state is a guaranteed trip to a service center. They have the means to force flash stock firmware, as us end users don't.

[Completed] [Q] I'm FRUSTRATED, CONFUSED & need HELP!!!

Hey folks, all this texting is giving me callouses ! Don't u people have an (800) # where someone like me whose DISABLED can call & get HELP over the phone talking with a live person ???
PLEASE ADVISE !
Hi,
Unfortunately XDA is only a website, with volunteers who help out. There's no phone support or any other way to get help other than these forums.
If you fill me in on your device make and model and a brief description of your issue/question, I can help find the correct area to seek help. ?
---------- Post added at 08:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:24 AM ----------
Actually, according to your post history, You've been already seeking help in your device section. All you can do is read the guides and ask for assistance there. I think I mentioned this before, but if you just can't understand this stuff, You'd probably be better off not doing anything. Or you could wind up accidentally making your device a paperweight.
I suggest lots of reading of the the guides and tutorials and see if it starts making more sense.
?
Thank you. Thread closed.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. Since you forgot to mention which phone you have, I can't point you towards a specific support area, but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. If you are referring to the LG G3, as your previous posts suggest, then post in the general LG G3 forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general as you have done before. We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist.
Good luck!

Hello again.
As mentioned earlier, we cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist, but if you ask in the LG G3 forum or the general forum suggested earlier, there a good chance someone there familiar with the Beat/Vigor variant will be able to help you. Since your device is relatively uncommon, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Once again, good luck!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the LG G2 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2 which would be a good starting place.. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!
