I rooted my Sony xperia by kingoroot and it was root successfully and then I tried to flashing cwm from mobile uncle. The recovery.IMG was of around 6mb.
It was ask me to reboot and when I clicked to reboot my mobile is no getting ON.
Please help me I used SUS for solving bt it says tht it has stopped contact and I even used Sony companion
Please help me.please give me suitable solution

Me too I´ve been waiting for this since it came out. One guy told me it can be done if you unlock the boot loader. Go to sony home page and follow the instructions.I haven´t done it yet, was waiting for some other suggestion. I tried superoneclick but it hangs on step 7.

Guys i want to root my tipo and im confuse about the connectivity. Do i need to enable "USB debugging" and "Install PC Companion" and about "USB connection mode" what do i need to set MTP or MSC? Please help thank you.

help me i cant root my xperia tipo...

Root Sony Tipo
Hi,
You can root your Tipo by downloading this file. You will first to get access to the file unzip the 7z file. Then run the RunMe.bat file. Make sure USB debugging is allowed and allow unknown sources is ticked on your phone. Follow the instructions. This will root your device through a back-up hole. This installs the Super SU superuser app on your phone. Found this by another post but just explaining it simply.
P.S My Tipo did not have an unlocked bootloader

I've had this same problem a while ago.

I got the PC Companion program to recognize the phone and I was able to repair the firmware.
If you have no success with this method, can certainly by flashing the firmware (11.0.A.210 or 11.0.A.5.5) available on the forum with the tool flashtools.

Have you done something special before? Try to flash stock ROM via Flashtool or PCC.

Just flash the latest stock ftf via flashtool.. And if you want a simpler way you can use sony update service(SUS) to flash stock ROM..

Can You Please Post Screenshots of the Flashtool!
I Dont Understand "it was locked"?
Post the screens and meanwhile try to repair it via SUS

Hello to everyone!! My Sony ericson live with walkman has a big problem!!!!!!!!!!! :crying:
I turn it on and everything looks fine but 15 seconds after if shows the starting animation and blocks!!!!!!!
It append because I instaled this app: Mont toSD, and it needed starting scripts to work, i installed them but my kernel doesn't allowed it (just found out it latter) i reboot my phone and the thing i explained above append!!!!!!!!!
Does someone know what can I do????

Did you tried to factory reset your phone.? If you can't, try Sony update service (SUS). it will make you phone to stock but you will lose your data.!!

My phone has root if i use the Sony Update service to reset my phone it won't "brick" it?

Nope..! SUS is used for restoring back to stock even when your phone has custom ROM.!! So you can use SUS to factory reset.! Go ahead and try.!

Can someone help me, my xperia x8 always says "Insert SIM card and restart phone" after installing ROM, I tried suggested in xda but nothing can solve my problem. I've unlock and relock using setool and update using sony pc companion but signal doesnt appear. please help me. (sorry for my English)

i think the rom you had flashed is causing this problem. flash stock rom back. or any stable rom
