[Completed] [Q] Galaxy S4 crashes alot - XDA Assist

Hello,
2 weeks ago I got my new Galaxy S4 (GT-I9515 Android 4.4). It has been rooted with CF AutoRoot.
The device crashes sometimes, mainly when using the FlightRadar24 Pro App.
There are no reports in /data/dontpanic/ and logcat hasnt shown any abnormal failures or errors.
Thanks for any tips!

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assit. It could be caused by the app itself. I'd try asking your question here to see if others are having the same problem, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192886

[Completed] [Q] Installed CWM on GS5, everything crashes.

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever post on XDA and I came here out of desperation.
Today I had rooted my galaxy s5 without any problems. Then I wanted to back my ROM up by using CWM.
I opened up CWM, backed my ROM up and rebooted my phone. This is where it all stopped working.
Homescreen didn't show up. All I'm seeing now when I power up my phone is "settings has stopped working".
Sometimes it shows something else and I just tap ok and another app would show up that ''has stopped working''.
I don't know what to do. I don't care about doing a factory reset. I just want to get some of my files back.
Forgive my extreme lack of knowledge.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately, the s5 has a locked bootloader and you can't flash cwm on it. I would suggest you follow this to get your device running again. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51494717. Then look in the gs5 forum, general, and q&a, for further information. It's always good to do a lot our reading about your device before you do anything with it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5 Start with the stickied threads

[Completed] [Q] Need help related to an App

Hello everyone!
I've been using the DN3 Rom that I installed a few months ago on my note 2. There's this app called playit.pk which I use for watching videos and recently its started crashing everytime i play a video. This doesn't happen on any other phone but mine. It was working fine and I've been using it quite a bit, but all of a sudden about 4 days ago it started crashing. Please advise.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Our mission at XDA Assist is to point users in the right direction to get help on their devices. We do not support specific apps. I'd suggest contacting the app developer. If that doesn't work then you might have to uninstall and reinstall the app or possibly even return your device to stock and then reinstall the app.

[Completed] URGENT HELP. CM11 keeps rebooting itself

Hello everyone,
I'm using a rooted Samsung s3 I9300 with CM 11. I've had CM11 for over a year now and it hasn't really caused my any problem. But lately it keeps rebooting itself. The weird thing is that it only happens when I have my WiFi or data turned on. If I turned those off then it doesn't reboot. It's stucked in a constant rebooting loop when I have WiFi or data on.
I've tried changing batteries/shutting down the whole phone for more than half an hour and then turning it on. It still happens.
I would honestly appreciate if any of you can provide a solution. It's very urgent as I uses my phone for many things mainly for my work. Hopefully you guys can give me a hand. Thank you.
Regards,

Hi thatasiankid
Since this issue can be caused by several reasons I suggest you to post in the general "Help thread" of your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/help-thread-galaxy-s3-question-t2690307
Clearing cache and data might help so you could take the opportunity to install a more recent version of CM (or any other custom rom). Please do not hesitate to find one of them in our 2 developement forums:
1. Galaxy S III Original Android Development
2. Galaxy S III Android Development
Thank you for using XDA Assist,
Good luck

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S5 - (SM-G900F)

Hello XDA-Developers (forum), community!
I am currently experiencing problems, with my Samsung Galaxy S5; with rooting and installing a custom operating system onto the phone.
I would request for an experienced user, to assist me with a tutorial for rooting my phone; as well as installing 'Cyangen Mod'onto it. I have not encountered this problem before, nor have I attempted this before.
I have not manipulated the phone's ROM,flashed the phone;nor edited the kernel of the device.I have encountered a problem with the rooting process, as I have trouble-shooted and discovered a reason for the phone's BOOTMANAGER; failing to function and operate correctly, as intended. I think that a possible Virus/Spyware has prevented the phone from booting. I am really confused, stressed and have lost countless hours of precious sleep u .u
Any help will be appreciated, I will be willing to answer any questions; which anyone my have, to assist me with my problematic situation.
