Hey every one,
When I first got my OPO my ear buds ( SOL Republic AMP HD) worked perfectly fine. After a few updates (I cant say which one for sure) my ear buds just became unusable in the phone.
Symptoms:
-Plugging in the headphones causes the volume to drop to 0 as if the volume down button was held down.
-After messing around with sleep wake and volume I am able to get the volume to settle but the volume is really low and adjusting the volume even to max is very quiet.
-holding the music control buttons down during playback does not fix the issue as seen on some older devices.
Info:
-Issue occurs on CM and Oxygen
-currently running Oxygen
-Earphone model: SOL Republic AMP HD (w/ 3 button remote)
If there is anything I can do to fix this it would be awesome! I dont care if the remote or mic works I just want to be able to listen to music through them again.
Thanks

hi,
i have recently purchased the chamelon headset for my tmobile mda2(himalaya). with the help of bluetooth tools for pocket pc i have been able to bond the 2 devices successfully and have achieved a fair working state between both devices. however there is one problem that cannot be avoided. it seems like the volume output on the headset is very low, its very difficult to hear anyone on the other end. the manual states that while in call you can turn up the volume until you hear a beep to indicate the volume is at its highest setting. despite numerous attempts at trying to get the volume higher i have not had any success. while in call i try to press either buttons and there is no change in volume. i have heard a beep a few times after 20-30 consecutive presses but i didnt notice much or if any change in volume. is there anyway to adjust the volume on the headset while not in a call? im not sure whether this may be a problem with the chameleon or perhaps a problems with the bluetooth in the microsoft OS?
Anyone else experience problems like this?
Maybe the Chameleon suffers from the same feature as my BTH-808 headset: When I use it in my right ear the volume-down button (on the side of the headset) is likely to press on my ear and thus . . . .minimizes the volume.
Work-around: use in left ear or ut in with care.
Same behaviour as you describe in changing volume. You have to press the volume-up button approx once every 1-2 seconds for the volume to go up one step.
Took me a week to find out what happened . . .
sigh. i wish it was that simple.
it seems like i have got the headset to its highest volume and it still sounds very weak. nextlink support tells me the volume on the bluespoon is generally very loud.
man... the BT on this machine is really a nightmare.
have you tried to put volume higher like I mentioned. When I press the volume-up to quick, It simply stays low, although I hear the 'volume-up beep'!!
Otherwise: Back for warranty I guess
Hi!
I use my Touch Pro quite a bit for music and I use my regular 3,5mm headphones along with an HTC adapter. Only thing that is really bothering me is that when I plug them in and start playing music, the volume is loud as freaking hell! I have it on max when I use the phone normally, and when I plug in my headphones I wish I didnt have to always remember to adjust the volume before playing music and adjusting it back up again when I'm done.
Anyone know of a smart tweak or way to fix this?
Cheers!
No matter what volume I pair my Verizon HTC One M8 (KitKat) at, my bluetooth volume reverts to "LOW" each time connect to Bluetooth speakers. I get a "Maximum Volume Warning," and then have to manually crank it up with the volume rocker on the phone.
I use several speakers throughout the house...JBL PowerUp in my living room, and a Waterproof Speaker in the bath. Forums indicate that this has been a problem for other users on the M7, and some phones as far back as the Dell Streak! Only advice I can find is re-pairing, but I've done that at Maximum volume, and the higher volume setting will not hold.
Is this a know issue? Are there any other workarounds?? Anyone else having this problem???

Currently running Ambassadii 1.8 with volume warning removed... speaker is LG FH6
Any advice would be great
As I've read, volume on S Galaxy's is notorious for being low. Some folks solve by Viper 4 Android, Ainur Sauron, or the like.
Hello
I have a OP7Pro and I use regularly 3 Bluetooth devices, my car (where the volume from the phone has to be maxed), on-ear headphones with anc (where volume should be much lower) and on-ear headphones (where the volume should be low).
I identified that lots of times, with the new features of Android P, the volume is remembered from device to device but sometimes it is not, and after using the Bluetooth with the car, the volume of the on-ear headphones is maxed which kills my ears...
Does this happen to someone else? Is it a known bug? Is there a solution for this?
Bump I have this stupid annoying issue the same. My volume is the same across the border same volume level for music in calls speaker etc
Mine also, doesn't remember my Bluetooth prior volume setting's. It defaults back to Max volume...
If you have bt absolute volume enabled, the phone will take the setting of the device it is connected to. Not sure that helps entirely though.
