is there a photo gallery app that will collate all pics from several foldes and present them all at once?
something like/similar the iOS gallery would be great.

I've searched and I can't find any app that can open pictures and zoomed in to it. The only app that I know that can open pictures is slideshow but I can't zoom in to my photos. Is there an app that works like Slideshow but there's a zooming feature?
How do I make it not show all photos from other apps in the gallery? Before lollipop, only photos taken with camera app were shown there.

You can try other gallery apps, or you can create a ".nomedia" file with the archive in the folders with the photos you want to hide.
How do you stop pictures from other apps showing up in gallery and camera?
Basically, if wifey sends a unique picture, why does it show in my camera view below when I'm trying to take a picture?
Put a file named ".nomedia" in the folder where the pictures are stored.

In settings>cloud and accounts>accounts>google>turn off the sync for photos.
