[Q] Bootloader unlock disclaimer not showing - HTC One Mini

I have a HTC One MIni that is stock in a fastboot loop every time I turn it on. I can't get any option from bootloader to work. So after doing some reading here I was going to unlock the phone and try to fix it but I can't unlock the phone. So fastboot was able to get the code and I went to htdev and get the unlock.bin file and I can run it with fastboot and it says it is all good but the disclaimer that it is supposed to come up after this on the phone, never comes up. I thought maybe restarting it would show it is unlocked but no luck. So I'm stuck with the phone only booting on fastboot mode and not being able to unlock it and therefore can't install anything to fix it. Is there a way I can fix it?
Thank you

I don't know if this will get what u want to achieve, but i used this method to restore a HTC Evo 3d to stock.
1. Download the correct RUU for your phone from http://www.filefactory.com/f/7cc7b2fbdd03c031/
2. Boot in to fastboot on your phone and connect it to your computer.
3.
Code:
fastboot oem lock
4. Run the EXE that you downloaded in step one.
if this doesnt work, reply or PM me.

Can't get past bootloader unlock

Hi everyone,
I am trying to help a buddy out and getting his phone working. The phone is not rooted in any way shape or form.
Here are my issues
The phone will not boot into the stock rom. I can get it into the bootloader. Which I went to htcdev. To unlock the bootloader. Followed the steps and was able to get the phone screen to show unlock bootloader. But when I hit yes it reboots and stays on the white htc screen. Then it will keep rebooting. When I go back into bootloader. It still shows the bootloader as being locked? Any suggestions. I haven't flashed anything in about 3 years. But only Samsung things.
This is my set up
Your best bet is to try latest RUU: http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-sv-boost/news/
I tryed that as well. Thinking it is kinda like Odin for samsungs. But as soon as it try to reboot into bootloader. It stays on the white htc screen
The RUU was running completely through and it still not booting?
I will take a picture of the screen. It does not go all the way through. Also I tryed the Ota. Zip. And changed it to PL80IMG and placed it in my SD card. It looked as if it went through and it told me to reboot. But still nothing.
This is what's happening.
Forget the OTA. It won't solve anything for you.
I also think, your bootloader must be locked to run the RUU.
And i think it is your only chance to get the phone back running, because there is no stock rom or backup for boost (as far as i know).
I am OK with rooting it. But in order for me to do it I have to get the bootloader to unlock which I can't seem to do. It does all the motions to unlock. Until the phone reboots
What i have found in this few minutes, Error 171 should be a driver issue.
So, you should make sure that the correct drivers are running (HTC Sync). Maybe another PC could be also a good try.
And you can't root a phone which is not booting into OS. You need a OS.
Is there different drivers I could try besides tc sync. I have tried both computers that I have one has windows 8. The other has windows vista.both have htc sync on them. Also tried a different cable.
If I type in cmd fast boot devices it shows my device being connected. The error shows up while it is waiting for the boot loader to reconnect
Latest should be this.
I will give it a try thank you for helping me. I'm banging my head against the wall for 2 days trying to figure out why nothing is working on this.
Its really kinda strange, that bootloader should belocked again after reboot.
But your focus must be the RUU.

Yea, my main goal is to get it to boot up. I was hoping it was an easy fix. Like with the Samsung epic I had. Just slap it in with odin and boom. after I couldn't get the RUU to work I figured I would try to root it. but since I can't even get the bootloader to unlock. I am stuck and that's the biggest reason I posted. normally I wouldn't I try to read other post and/or youtube it to find someone with a similar problem.
Quick question. When I go into the RUU can/should be in fastboot?
Yes, you should be in fastboot (USB) mode.
Ok so I downloaded the drivers you recommend. It was different then the ones I had. I also downloaded the RUU from the htc site as well just in case. Will try when I get back home. Thanks again.
So here is what I have. I downloaded driver v4.11.0.001. And installed. Downloaded ruu k2_cl_jb_45_s_sprint_wwe_boost_3.05.653.4......
I went into cmd and type fastboot devices. My device showed up. Ran the ruu. Samething happened. The ruu stops because when the phone reboots. It doesn't reboot to the bootloader.
Also I tried in cmd to get the phone to reboot to bootloader with no luck. Is there any thing else I can try?

Nexus 5 stuck on boot, help please!!!

Hello to you all, I am new to XDA and it is because of this problem I am having.
The other day, my N5 shut down unexpectedly and kept that virtual power button pressed (I've seen this happen to a lot of people). The next day, it stopped doing that, but the next big issue started: The phone was stuck on boot animation. Since then, I am not able to boot the phone, so I entered the bootloader (which is still functional) and tried to unlock the bootloader (I blame myself for not doing this since the beginning) from my PC but every time it reboots the phone to keep the changes, the bootloader locks itself again, preventing me to fastboot an image to my device
This is the main issue here, I can't start up my phone, the bootloader won't unlock and somehow, I can't ADB because my PC won't recognize the device. In other words, it seems my Nexus is bricked (may be the first Nexus in the history to be bricked).
I believe there must be a solution for this problem, can anyone help me please!?!?!
Thank you all!
this is how I fix mine.

Hey, thanks for this help, I'll let you know how that goes. And yes, I can boot into recovery.
My device isnt recognized on ADB, and everytime I try to unlock the bootloader, when the device restarts, immeditaly locks the bootloader again.
did u factory reset and wipe dalvik / cache? did u install a correct PC driver? did you ever using adb to connect to your phone?
I remember someone said sometimes you need to unlock the bootloader several times to get it unlocked.
from this and this, your nand flash seems has problem.
Try using LG Flash Tool to flash facory image, it doesn't need to unlock bootloader, but i think it's better not to write anything to nand flash as you don't know if it has problem or not, do so might make your phone completely bricked.

adb doesn't work?

my friend nexus 5 got water damage. he opened it up and cleaned the corrosion. when he put it back together one pin was short circuited and smoked a lil. but then he removed the pin and able to boot the phone. it goes to the google then to the flying color dots but stuck there forever.
i tried adb, it says connection: closed.
so i tried fastboot oem unlock and suceeded
i try able to fastboot flash recovery.img to TWRP, but after flashed, the recovery is still stock recovery.
I go back to fastboot and saw unlock was not there anymore.
so why is the unlock doesn't stay and the flashing in fastboot doesn't get updated.?
thansk.
Seems the phone is toasted. Things not sticking usually mean the motherboard needs to be replaced.
All he wanted is the photos from the phone, is it possible?
Any one can help?
Once you run fastboot oem unlock all files are wiped. He has no chance to get them back now. It is an issue of whether or not the phone will work again.

Are there any ways to hardreset a bootloader locked phone with fast boot?

Hey everyone,
I have an LG G5 and I'm trying to hardreset it. I can't turn it on because it always goes into "incompatible module" mode, telling me to change the battery. The power button also doesn't work anymore.
I have however managed to get it into fast boot mode. From there I tried to use
Code:
fastboot erase userdata
but it says that the bootloader is locked. I checked with LG and they said that my particular phone (from Australia) can't officially be unlocked.
Now I'm looking for a way to either unofficially unlock it or to wipe all data with fast boot without having to unlock it. I can't use adb because it somehow doesn't recognize my phone, fastboot does.
Thanks,
Josh
