[Q] How to customize the caller id font size?

Hello everyone,
I would like to increase the font size on the incoming/outgoing caller ID screen as pictured below.
The number that shows up on the caller ID screen is so small it is very hard to see, I basically have to move the phone close to my face in order to see who is calling.
I would also like to change the default android robot picture that shows up on the caller ID if possible, I just don't like it.
I have rooted my phone already.
I am also aware of all the caller ID apps in playstore, but I rather not use them.
I would like to make the modification on the phone itself.
Thank you

[Q] Has anybody enabled Caller ID with a third party lock screen?

I really want to use Widget Locker, but I need caller ID enabled on the lock screen. Has anybody figured out a work around to get caller ID on third party lock screens?
Bumping this for the weekend. Anyone?

[Q] ICS 4.0.4 Change transparency of text background in Call Screen

Hi All
I successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy S Duos using this forum. Thanks for the same. Keep up the good work.
I want to change the transparency of the background of Contact Name and Number shown in call screen to 100%. Or say I want to remove that background altogether. The same kind of background is observed in starred contacts arranged in grid mode. Most of my contacts are with photographs, this background hides almost half the face of contact picture while calling as well as scrolling through contacts.
1. How to remove that background from call screen and contacts grid? I don't want another call screen application.
2. Is it possible to set ascending ringtone for incoming calls? If yes, please tell me that too.
Thanks in advance.

No contact name/picture on incoming call on CM10.2.1

When I get an incoming call I get a screen similar to the lock screen but with a black background and options to dismiss, send SMS, and answer.
However it shows no contact name or picture (the contact is in my contact list with that number). I couldn't find anything related after hunting through the settings. Surely there is a way to turn this on as the stock HTC ROM had this feature (and I was using the same contact list)?
(Running CM10.2.1 on a One XL with Telstra.)

Nexus 5 Marshmallow incoming calling screen

My contact settings include photos in the phone app.
When those people call me their caller ID and number are shown on the incoming calling screen but not their photo.
I note that if I disable the default phone app and use a 3rd party app (True Phone), there is no caller screen at all, just ringing. Therefore, there is no way to answer the phone. So, the default phone app has to run and the incoming calling screen must be generated by that app. However, I cannot find the setting and of course I can't find any setting for including the photos.
Could someone please help me include the photos of contacts in the incoming calling screen?
Thanks
On my phone with Android 7.0, I can set a photo for a contact only if the contact info is saved in phone other than in SIM card.
After a contact photo has been set, the photo will be shown on the incoming calling screen.
I don't believe that I am using contacts from SIM but the phone.
But, how do I tell?
I can't find that setting either.
I am using Android V6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
Edit: Just noticed that a picture is indeed showing but it is so dark that I didn't notice it before. However, I also notice on the picture there is a word written saying "Unknown" in the middle of the picture. What does that mean?
Just updated the stock Phone app and the picture now shows correctly.
However, the sticking problem of the "Unknown" is still shown.
I have attached a screenshot of the phone's call screen showing the picture and the word "Unknown" in the middle". I have blurred the phone number and street name.
Hope this helps someone point me to find the cause of this.

If all your incoming calls are showing as unknown, contact your service provider and ask if there is a problem with your account (service?) as it may not be a problem in your phone.
But if only incoming calls from some particular contact are showing as unknown, contact this guy and ask if he/she has hidden his/her caller id in his/her phone settings.
For example, setting to turn off Caller ID on a Huawei P9 as below.
Open Phone app,
then tap Menu icon > Settings > Additional Settings > Caller ID > Hide Number
Be aware that the number is only hidden on Voice calls not on SMS/MMS.
I think I may have tracked down the problem.
It's not the account or service provider.
I use a 3rd party lock screen (Start). I didn't think about looking at this because the incoming caller screen is generated by the default google phone app. But, if I disable the Start lock screen and go to the default screen the incoming caller screen does not have the "Unknown" banner. Therefore, I believe that the Start lock screen intercepts the incoming caller screen and inserts the "Unknown" banner for some reason. I am unable to find any setting in Start to remove this so I have emailed the authors and now have to wait for their response.
While I am on the incoming caller screen, where can I find the settings for the incoming caller screen?
