SD card now not writable - Ascend Mate 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I recently been using a 8gb SD card and as you no you can install (write) anything to SD with this device. Well I've upgraded to a 64gb card and since then I'm having problems.I use a torrent app and to choose my SD as the download folder it says its not writable when it did before I changed sd. Even when I move big games like Fifa 15 to SD hardy any data moves over when the game is 1.5gb

Install extra application data onto external SD card?

I'm trying to play this game on my Android phone (Samsung Exhibit II 4G) and the device has some built in memory. When I launch the game it says that I have to download extra data before I can play and I do. However I notice that it downloads into the internal memory rather than my 16 GB microSD. If I move the data onto the microSD and launch the game again, it asks me to download the data. Any way to get it to recognize that?

i have samsung galaxy s2 i9100G. My internal 16 gb memory is full and i want to put sd files in external sd card. Is there any way to put the sd data coz when i cut the sd data from internal to external sd card, the game again asks for downloading sd files. thanks
I would just leave it where it is, otherwise it won't notice it.

The last update allows you to transfer game obb folders to sd but its still buggy and isn't working for every game. Another way would be to root the shield and modify the vold fstab which I don't know exactly how to do it.

[Q] How to install game in external memory 16 gb

Dear Expert,
I have rooted my Android Mobile Karbonn A29 with FrameRoot its successfully rooted, but i want to install game like FIFA 14 in my mobile it does not have sufficient internal memory, kindly give me the guide how to make my external memory which is 16 gb to act as internal memory so that i can install large game.
You can make your external your internal memory. What you can do is use a tool Like app2sd to move some apps to your sd. This may allow you to have enough space to install the game and them move it to external. There are ways in a custom recovery to format your external where is it used as sud internal but I haven't played with that yet.
In the future please include the phone.model, carrier and version of os you are using.

You can use Link2sd app to force move apps to sd card. Also if you partition your sd card then you can also Link all your desired apps to sd card.linking means it will install all your apps to sd card without leaving any traces of the apps in the internal memory. Here is more info on this
