So my assumption was that when I downloaded one of the GPE roms and switched to the T-Mobile version since I'm using T-Mobile on the Verizon variant I wouldn't get official updates.
Right now I got this and I'm wondering if it will brick my device if I install it. It probably thinks I'm using the T-Mobile variant when I'm using the Verizon variant with a lollipop rom on kit-kat firmware (I'm also not sure how to update to lollipop firmware).

Hell no.But first check rom thread if there is an ota update for this variant. If not,not don't download it
TO check or update firmware.
Go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723159.Check it how to do it.
Then go to bootloader & check your current firmware to makesure whether you have KK or Lp firmware

There are two ota updates from early/mid march but I haven't got to downloading them yet.
Check with your ROM creator, but generally no, 5.1 isn't stable yet. We may need to wait for RUU before it can be adopted.
RUU is the stock ROM right?

I new to the Nexus 5, I used to to used the HTC One and on the One I could flashed ROM, radio, and firmware. I know that Google will soon release Android 4.4.3. Currently I have my Nexus 5 rooted with TWRP and PA. On my old One what I did when HTC released 4.4.2 update, was I flashed the phone back to stock (with S-OFF) get the update then rerooted with a custom ROM so that I can have the latest firmware. My question is that will I have to do the same thing too? Does the Nexus 5 even have a firmware update? If the new update does contain a new firmware can I used the method I used on the One? Or can I just update my PA ROM to 4.4.3 and be done?
Thanks for the help, I am just confused right now.

Take a look at the N5 OTA help desk, it will have the answers that you need.

pa will add 4.4.3 into the rom when the code gets released. all youll have to do is update your pa rom when they release it.

So I flashed the brazillian lollipop OTA on my Indian XT033 and can someone explain to me step by step how I'll be able to flash the Indian Lollipop update when it releases publicly without losing my data?

Why you flashed Brazilian version. It could brick your phone. Motorola is gonna release official android L here in less than a week, i guess.
Anyway, download indian version of stock 4.4.4 and flash it with stock recovery. Relock the bootloader. Latest motorola adb and fastboot drivers should be there before starting this whole process.
Motorola has updated its OTA updater app a couple of days ago. So go to play store and update it to make your phone ready for android lollipop

And in this way you could end up messing your phone.
Once youre on lollipop there's no way as of now to downgrade to KK.
But once the india lollipop update is out someone will figure out a way to install that.Until then enjoy your phone o Brazilian 5.0.
And also I dont find some good reason to install Indian update ovr brazilian one coz there will be no major change.
I guess both are "Asia retail" firmwares?
Please press THANKS if interesting. Sent from Moto G-od via xt1033 free Android app.

Downgrading from lollipop to kitkat is possible. Take a look http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/guide-restore-softbricked-phone-t2965459
Hello all, so lollipop is finally released from the atnt website
is it possible for someone to catch it and make it available for a manual update like the previous 20c - 20y update. Most people use other sim cards on the device.
Thanks

That would be great, I also use the D800 without an At&t sim card. I believe last time I used a TOT file and flashed it using LG FLash tool
yeah, but the tot file is definately not out
Yep, I just saw it today on the AT&T website and was about to come here and post the Lollipop news, but you beat me. Here's a link:
http://www.att.com/esupport/softwareUpdateArticle.jsp?sid=KB423381&cv=820
It would be super great if someone could extract the kernel from this official AT&T Lollipop. That way, T-Mobile users like me can flash the official T-Mobile Lollipop, then flash the AT&T Lollipop kernel, and lastly reboot. Hopefully, that will result in a D800 running official Lollipop with WiFi calling!

Question. Both my wife and I have LG G2s. Never rooted. I got the update to lollipop notification and updated. She didn't It doesn't even show up when she checks for updates. What gives?
I got this new edge N915F, its on Kitkat and after checking update OTA, its not getting any lollipop update. So is there anyway to update it manually and is it worth it?

I did and all I got was Beta build. I'm looking a way to flash a final release since I'm not getting any OTA whereas my friend with 915G got one OTA.
I found this official firmware on sammobile but it's for Uae baseband N915FXXU1BOD2, on the other hand my baseband is N915FXXU1ANK4. Can I flash it?

i've just got my opo back after a long time not using it because of broken screen.
i need to update it to MM rom and i want to know what is the most recent firmware available.\
i found a firmware zip from the 01/02/2016, is the a newer one?
Tnx ahead!
Here is the latest official Rom for the OPO.
https://cyngn.com/support
It is still Lollipop, there is no update to Marshmallow yet.
If you still want to have Marshmallow you have to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom rom.
