Please get up & check the same in GSMARENA or Any comparing site.
You are asking Android Vs iOS.
More frankly, If you will ask about Android here then no body will say Yes to iOS.
There are 2 threads devoted to questions about devices, please post your question in one of these two threads:

Hi everybody and specially the moderators. Attention seeking for this particular device
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active SM-G890A which is released exclusively by AT&T.
Now this is a very different device than standard S6 or S6 Edge or S6 Edge Plus, still there is not a separate section for this device. Henceforth requesting the moderators/admin of XDA family to create a separate section for this device. The devices's thread is post under normal S6 due to which the device is loosing attention by the ROM modders, and its been ages since we S6 active users are waiting for a root for this device. This device was released by AT&T with standard 5.0.2 and now been updated to 5.1.1. I am willing to provide the stock rom of both version. Any other areas where the community feels is lacking info for this device due to which it hasn't earned a separate section, I am willing to provide all the bits. So kindly look into the request and create a separate section for this device.
Awaiting the root badly....
Eh, not sure if you noticed, but there is a separate S6 Active section now. It was created two weeks back or so...
Where's that main section? All I can see is a sub-section as the topic creator stated: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/galaxy-s6-active

I meant that subsection, which is already much better than before when we were just part of the S6 section
Dunno if this is in the right section but I have an opportunity to get a Samsung galaxy s5 or a Samsung galaxy note 3. I currently have the s5 on loan from my friend but want to know from your guys experience which phone you guys like better as I am in need of another used phone. (Long Story why I can't get a new one). This phone must last me a few years or more.
There's a dedicated thread for such questions here,

So I will close this one. :good:

Why is it that Sprint phones (S6 Edge+), (S7 Edge), always have a hard time getting Rooted? Or the fact that when ya'll, (Developers), do figure out a way to root or cone up with Roms, out of no where you "jump ship" or don't come up with a decent Rom that actually works? I thought a challenge was what ya'll looked for. I'm not being mean, just wish i could root my S7 Edge that i bought from Sprint and put an awesome Rom on too. Ya'll never respond to my messages anyways, so i doubt i will EVER hear anything about this...

Hi friends.. I love to tweak my smartphones and xda is my homepage. I have nexus 4, LG g3, iPhone 6s and galaxy s6 edge. I constantly follow those development forums and get new rooms or stuff whenever they are up. That being said I am curious to know that as of now in 2017 which are the top 5 phones with the largest and active development community here at xda. Looking forward to buy a new device so I am wondering...
Thanks. Waiting for expert opinions
