Hi everybody!
I am pleased to create this discussion thread for OmniROM (for more information visit this) based on KitKat(4.4.2). The purpose of creating this thread is to keep development thread clean. Kindly discuss your queries here and not in development thread.
First of all Install Following Recovery (if coming from any version lower than 4.4)

- Mass storage(only mtp works). Not supported in Omni only!
- Bluetooth A2DP (bluetooth handsfree)
>Some Moderate Bugs
- Video recording stays stuck for first 5 seconds then it works. While playing that video, for first 5 seconds screen remains green. (Use Camera JB+ instead of stock camera app)
- Song plays with disruption while playing through bluetooth
- Screen Recording (it won't work as we don't have neon support) (Use 3rd party apps like SCR Screen Recorder for workaround)
- 90 degree rotation bug in Camera(photo) in portrait mode
- Camera stops responding when picture size is changed.
- Browser FCs when Incognito mode is used.
- Camera stops working when back button is pressed while viewing any image.

I tried this. computer displays 2 extra drives but doesnt detects it ergo cant read or write.

Can u elaborate on d on cm 10.2 bugs n list all of them.. And delete those which r striked.. Just a suggestion

here we got the hint. Means, Computer is able to detect and mount the Storage but right for reading and writing isn't given by Mobile.

Hi! What a wonderful rom? I'm very happy with it, it works perfect.
I found a little bug which is not listed, the browser fc when you try to open incognito tab.

I found a Deadly Bug:
1) when i re-boot phone, phone stuck at Samsung Galaxy R LOGO screen & unable to reboot phone :crying: ....
so i wipe data again (in cwm Recovery) and then it boot properly.
2) when i try to install apk it say's,"can't open file"
see the screenshots.
please try to fix this bugs in your next Build & i hope this information is helpful to make ROM stable
& sorry i post this same in general thread also, my mistake

You wiped data in "cwm" recovery. So u using clockworkmod. And thats known that it doesnt boot properly with cwm. Thats why op told to use TWRP. Try that.

It is necessary to use twrp or latest philz recovery.
Regarding the install problem download any file manager from play store and using that you can install the apk.
Nikhil you can add this in the bug list, Installing apk from downloads isn't working.

Where is the incognito option in Chrome
Yes confirmed about the camera it gets stuck if you change picture size, after restarting the app it works.
Yes you can install apk from any file manager but not from downloads.

In stock browser. I have activated quick controls in tabs you can open incognito tab but when do it, it fc.

I’m presenting my 1st ported ROM MIUI6_v5.7.9 for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:
1)Xolo for the awesome phone at affordable price,
2)MIUI for the wonderful rom,
3)Turkdevs.com & SmiLeToLiFe for the ported rom,
4)Dr. Avinash for MIUI6_Boot Logo and TWRP rev2 recovery,
5)Of course, me for Repartitioning Xolo Q3000. But, I need not to Thank myself as I know U will Like the rom & press the Thank Button,
I haven't take any permissions from you guys, I'm sorry for that, but your work is all credited to you, so, please forgive me.
Pre-requisites:
1)Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)
2)Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).
3)/System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).
4)SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).
Procedure:
1)Put the downloaded MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip in sd card.
2)Delete any files from previously installed rom from sd card & phone storage (especially /android/data folder).
3)Reboot to Recovery using root apps or by pressing (PowerOn + VolumeUp) key combination.
4)Wipe /system, /data, /cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.
5)Install MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip
6)Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
7)Immediately, Install the MIUI6_5.7.9_Patch.zip
8)Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
9)Reboot System.
10)1st boot may take 3-5 minutes (Screen will be a boot animation not a Boot Logo. If you stuck at Boot Logo, then go to recovery & flash the rom again).

Hats off for ur work..nice and lagfree rom...wifi working for me...found a bug...in sound can't open audio setting got fc for setting. And only thing I miss the keypad notification light for msg and miss call..any way to get that..and how much is the camera pixel..

Notification lights are limited to LED lights, to enhance battery life.
Camera capacity was not shown in megapixels, but MIUI utilizes full camera capacity (supported by Hardware).

Perfect port bro, everything working fine, rom is smooth n stable, found some bugs like fc settings when opening audio settings

I guess!! you haven't wiped cache & Dalvik Cache before/after installing update. So, it's showing same version no. even after update.
Missing icons are due to lacunae in stock kernel( I've tried a lot, but Needs custom kernel)

[5.11.5] [Xolo Q3000] [ROM] MiUi7 Universal Port

In order to avoid overcrowding of MiUi roms, problem faced by Dr. Avi sir, I am presenting universal port for MiUi7 ROM for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:
1) Xolo for the awesome phone at affordable price,
2) MIUI for the wonderful rom,
3) TurkDevs & 4pda for port rom.
4) @avi3230 for Boot Logo,
5) Of course, me for Repartitioning & Porting ROM for Xolo Q3000.
Pre-requisites:

3) Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.
4) Install Miui7.zip
5) Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
6) Immediately, Install the MIUI7_Universal_Port_Patch.zip
7) Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
8) Reboot System.
9) Phone will get upgraded to newer version, without losing any data.
10) If u face any problem or wanna flash as clean install, then wipe data as well as system, alongwith Dalvik & Cache, before flashing rom.
Note:
I will update link to full rom, time to time, generally every Sunday, as MiUi releases weekly update on Friday.
Anybody with the link to latest version of MiUi7, may post the link in reply.

Hi Sachin, thumbs up for your work... nice rom .. but when i optimize and clean by using security app and reboot phone, it does boot up , fixing only at boot logo. It happens only with miui posted by you.. not with those of avi sir or rohit. Please help.

My phone is booting normally after cleaning with cleaner/security app.
Does it solved a problem??

Try a factory reset from recovery after flashing both the zips.. Had the same issue.. Fixed this way

I tried ur way.. After a factory reset when I checked with the security app the process freezed at 87℅.

But one thing .. When using full ROM posted by rohit/avi/puduraja this bug is not noticed. My phone boots normally after using security app. Please help.. I need the updated MIUI ROM...

Hi Sachin.r.fulzele,
1st of all THNXXXXXX for such a wonderful rom updated till date.
2nd There is no lag/FC in allover & no equalizer issue in this build.
3Rd THNXXXX for butter smooth UI in theme change & by default theme while having 40 above apps with high end Games.
4th Camera also very smoothly working with Full HD jpg 4.5+mb size images.
5th Battery backup also very fine no issue till date.
6th Theme option is far much better than previous build, However there are still some option are missing for selecting custom Dialer/icons/Locksreen, ETC.
7Th JOCKER Screen on boot loader is extremely awesome.
Only Issue is in some of the theme change there is no call UI appear in Locksreen state, However i have to unlock device first then drop status bar tray then have to go in notification call option to rcv.
Not a big deal it might be a theme issue.
Over all 10/10 from my side for such a Chocolate sweet rom.

Hi Guys, My problem is not solved yet.. does the security app deleting any system file while cleaning. because when i use root cleaner with full cleaning , the system restarts as usual.

@luke.rockstar,
Theme customize option reappears, just go to installed apps/theme & clear cache. Try if you can deal with themes, when u r offline. As the problem from miui side, I've reported it.

Hi Guys, My problem is not solved yet.. does the security app deleting any system file while cleaning. because when i use root cleaner with full cleaning , the system restarts as usual.

As u said, there is not such a problem with roms by rohit, try installing cleaner app from that rom.

Extract full rom.zip, go to system/app or priv-app and search for kingsoft cleaner, install it as normal apk

Same problem occurs with this rom also. Can you please tell me how to port security app from the rom where this bug is not found. I tried to install it as a normal apk but failed.

app isn't installed as normal apk as the security app needs 5 apps to run cleaner ,data saver ,permission manager etc
in security app while cleaning don't clean system cache
have u remove any system app,if yes then it goes in bootloop after reboot

What's news in this ROM:
-Full CM-13
-RIL code's based on I9300 Github
-Apps dex-preoptimization (speed up first boot)
-Brightness setup updated
-Swap activated (kernel)
-IO SHEDULERs added (kernel)
-DOZE Activated and working - (see screenshots)
-No bugs with auto rot.
-No bugs with camera
-No bug with BT (thanks P.A.N. from i9305 github)
I let you try it and report. This build will be updated every weeks.
How install it:
-Just install it over another CM13 Roms without wipe.
-You came from CM-12.1, you need to wipe all datas (system-data-cache-dalvik).
If you wipe all datas, after install GApp you may will have an error with AOSP Keyboard (crash):
How install GApps:
-Install the Rom, and directly after, install Aroma GApp
-Select all that you want WITH Google Keyboard. After have selected your apps, choose to delete KeyboardStock!!.
-Don't install Google Camera, it dooesn't worked!
-Install GApps, wipe cache and reboot
Or you can install the apk that i share, and deactivate Old Google keyboard
Then please DL Android keyboard apk, and save your current ROM before updated!
How DOZE works:
-download from xda doze setting editor or naptime from PlayStore
-Edit times to force Doze to be activated more fast (see my screenshots, i use this timers)
To try Doze you must let your phone, it will not work of you have your phone in a pocket on a car/train etc etc. If a sensors detect a movement, the phone becomes ACTIVE.
You can log Doze states by commands from adb:

No, just a different way to code. I haven't say nothing about mod/others.
I know that many users had pb with Ivan's build (auto rot./data etc...). If i can offer another way, it's a good thing.
For information, i had NEVER installed Ivan's build, only mine, i don't know if you will have sames pb.
My Rom works since 1 mounth on my phone.

M8 can you work on an stock aosp rom instead of cm please. Just a request. BTW gr8 rom testing now.

Hello! i try to put this rom in my device, but it remains in bootloop at starts :S then i try with/without agni kernel 4.50 and opengapps 6.0 pico but don' t work :S. (i came from cm12.1, and i wipe all data).

did you wipe internal storage as well? put youe rom files on an extenal sd , wipe everything and try again. Install gaaps after flashing rom.

Don't install Agni kernel, if the dev. doesn't have activated Swap, you may have a bootloop (fstab file error, partitions not mount).

I have updated the "how to" to install GApp, don't reboot immediatly, install Aroma GApps (custom install) with KeyboardGoogle and force remove AOSP Keyboard.
I have tried twice the method.

first of all, Thanks for this rom, @bizcuite !
so far so good aside from 1 weird issue with external sd card. ín storage settings it is displayed as "portable-storage" and card was renaed to "mac_create_". while using titanium backup to restore my apps i had to guess the folder name related to the external storage. after i found this and choose my backup folder i get the message "folder not writable", although i can still use the folder to acess my apps and restore them.
i'm concernd about this. how do we fiz this?

Move your backup to internal storage and then restore. I didn't let titanium mess.with my sd card. Because many where reporting, loss of data and ****.

Hello! i follow your guide, but i have the same result :S Now i will do a list what i do when install the rom:
I use TWRP 3.0.0-0
1) Wipe all partitions (dalvik/art - cache - system - internal memory)
2) I install the rom zip.
3) I install Aroma Gapps directly and in custom setting i also install google keyboard and removing old aosp keyboard)
4) Finally i reboot, but only time system go in bootloop animation (i try it for 10 minutes)
i don' t use agni kernel
My rom base firmware is XXUFND3

Wow, this ROM rocks, very stable, definitely a daily driver for me. Ok, this is what I did for install:
1) Use TWRP 3.0 to wipe the phone completely (internal storage included)... TWICE
2) Install the ROM via TWRP.
3) Install OpenGAPPS via AROMA installer, added the google keyboard inside the installation. - Make sure you select 'forceclean'
4) Boot, AOSP keyboard error, went into settings, and selected the google keyboard as default.
5) Flashed SuperSU zip file via TWRP
6) Installed BusyBox via Google Play
7) Flashed Xposed by romracer
8) Installed Xposed istaller
9) Installed 3C toolbox Pro from Google Pay
10) Proceed to delete the AOSP keybord and other useless items from system using 3C Toolbox Pro.
11) Installed SPenCommand.
12) Base system is now ready for loading everything else from the Play Store.
Only issue I have so far is that I cannot move programs into the system partition using either Titanium or 3C Toolbox. Other than that everything works fine.
One more thing, Google Camera works fine for me.

Hi,
Thanks to try the Rom and reports!
Have you tried to install gapps with the minimum? Just Android keyboard and force to uninstall stock keyboard?
Don't format external storage. It's not necessary.
FYI: i have begun to work on aosp...

Have you try to install only the Rom without gapp, to see if it boots correctly and after install gapps?

Yes bizcuite i test it also without gapps, I don't know why it dosn't work just me xD
let's see if someone else has the same problem.

Install philz recovery mount all partitions and then wipe preload manually or just tap clean to install new rom. Then flash the rom.

No many reports or complaints from users.
Is it a good news? No download of the ROM or no bugs?

Instructions:
Download zip and please use the TWRP recovery from this thread.
Do simple wipe (Factory reset) by using TWRP recovery.
Don't do advance wipe
Then flash the Cyanogenmod zip file.
Go back and select opengapps zip and flash it.

Rom is always showing 100% battery percentage and it isn't showing anything during charging so there is no way of knowing the right battery percentage

Frameroot isn't working
Google play store takes a little longer to start

Enable developer options bby clicking 7 times Build number in About Phone.
Then goto developer options and find option Root Access.
And yes the same kernel is used.

You dont need to root it as it is already rooted just enable root access from developer options.

I gave it a try yesterday on i8260 and i confirm those issues.
There's one more thing i noticed on my single-sim core: sim card notification shows always no sim card detected although the phone is registered to my provider, i can send/receive text/calls.
Options in the settings (SIM CARDS) were faded out, i wasn't able to change anything.
During the phone call, mic starts to work for a few seconds, then fades out with no reason, stops and starts again after some time.
BTW. Fingers crossed, i hope you can fix those issues. This ROM is the best I've tried so far, since CM10 i use as my daily driver.

Here is the link to the official topic. I haven't tried it on this build but it always worked for me on other Android 6./5.x devices. TWRP zip file to flash, APK file to install.
