rom reviews​

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE ​
Please install the ROM in this way else i will be not responsible for your stupidity --->>
1.Download the rom and copy it to your SD.
2.Go to CWM and wipe data/cache and clear cache.
3.Select install from zip from sd and navigate to aokp v9.zip file that you have downloaded.
4.install it and do a data wipe and clear cache.
5.reboot the device.
* if u do any thing different then the above procedure nothing will work fine.
* you can flash Gapps later as u install it usually.
* most imp thing is do not use TB for app's data restore only use this for app's restore !!

my suggestion : change liboemcamera.so from froyo and chnage cam for 5mp..(it still 3 mp now..)
i've tested it, i've changed liboemcamera.so from froyo and it works.. it can't take a photo but video recording works..great sir.. (but it's still laggy)..

aokp v5 bugs fix
As i have released a test build bugs might exist so these bugs will be fixed soon.. As i don't have the device currently with me, it might take some time. And thank you all for the best support.. next, almost stable release soon .. :highfive:

WiFi working for me. When I tried it the first time to configure, the system is restarted.
When searching for locations on Google Maps, the system freezes.
When updating the G-mail, the system freezes.

Rom Reviews​

Installation Procedure​
This ROM is divided into 2 parts and some of the applications are installed on the /data partition due to lack of space for full Jellybean installation.
Hence you will have to reflash the rom after you factory reset or wipe /data partition.
-Stock ROM
1. Flash CWM Compatible Kernel (CF ROOT)
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. Go to Advanced -> Reboot Recovery.
6. Mounts and Storage -> Format dbdata
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
-Any other AOSP ROM (CM7/MIUI/CM9)
1. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
4. Select the ROM zip from your SD Card and flash.
5. Go to Advanced -> Reboot Recovery.
6. Mounts and Storage -> Format dbdata
7. Flash Google Apps.
8. Reboot
-Upgrading from previous versions of CM10
1. Reboot to Recovery.

1. Wipe cache before flash!
2. if you're stuck at "starting AROMA INSTALLER 2.50..." pull your battery out and re flash, if you still get stucked pull again your battery then re flash again.
3. when you suddenly getting continues vibrate in the middle of installment process, quickly press menu > quit installation > advanced > reboot recovery > re flash the rom.
*this vibrates usually happened because user's are taking too long time at the AROMA installer.
4. recommended using custom installation.

Download the zip properly!! And do wipe data reset!!!! And wipe dalvic cache!

just open root explorer and goto /data/system and make a new folder called "theme" here .. that's it
but after applying themes you may face bugs like very big lockscreen or some chinese text here and there

For lockscreen to work apply it first in MiLocker then apply theme.

which fixes are you talking abt ? if they got merged in androidarmv6 gerrit yes its merged to pac as well else we would need to redo that.not quite sure yet.

no problem ..if those are the fixes in xmls i can add overlays and fix it up real quick.. rather than decompiling apk's i would say overlays would be more feasible.

i cant excalty comment on flashing that zip..make cwm backup and try..if lockscreen is a glitchy i will fix it asap..just need to add those overlays.

What a present surprise Will try it asap..also mine also same qstn is lockscreen and all resized properly?

Dont flash that coz its framework res of cm10.1...this is pac...so just check first if its there...

i installed cwm and twrp at the same time then boom
no recovery no download mode
just samsung logo then the phone will turn off
im starting to freak out
at first when i access download mode
it say
RAMP DUMP
cause: forced upload

Hello guys,
I use the CM11 4.4.4 release 16. so I use TWRP with repartition, I changed the Data as ext4 partition and so on.
I want to try your great CM12 but my questions are:
- TWRP its ok or just CWM6 can work? I know you wrote only CWM6..but i just ask.
- Witch is the layout.0. that you mention? what I have to do?
- Have I to change the ripartition of Data or not? if yes as what?

I tried your rom for a day and....wtf, its another lollipop Rom! I mean, the screenshots doesn't show the reality!! They looks like a kitkat style, with lots of personalization is status bar and so on. My S plus unfortunatelly doesn't run well with 5.x.x Rom so I tought was a rebuild of kitkat like the 4.4.4 RL 16.
Anyway I found some error like:
-sms app crash, unusable.
-Performace --> processor --> Max and min frequency are inverted ( it show 1401 on min and 245 on Max) :silly:
-Dialer look nice but tooooo slow.:crying:
Please change the screenshots immediatelly before someone else fall in error!!

Yup i know it because it is an alpha stage, but some bugs are fixed like inverted freq(look at the PAC github activity)
and i'll try to bring update every sunday
