I have a micromax a111 canvas having charging problem.
I have done already the following:
1. Did factory reset
2.Changed the battery (but found there is no problem with batteries)
3.The OS android 4.1.2 (original) copied again
4.The charger pin replaced
5.Tried with MMX charger and other chargers also
The phone sometimes charges well and most of the time shows charging, but never charges. The battery percentage suddenly drops hugely.
The problem still persists and dont know what to do with it.
the usb port (charger pin) of the device was replaced by service centre. It has no issues. When Charger is attached, it works fine, it shows the power on led (red).
Except that the device is working fine. All apps work fine. Checked for virus,malaware using 360 app. It shows system is in a fine condition.
Only problem is battery is not charged properly. Sometime it charges and shows some percentage say 80% or so. But when the system switched off and switched on again, the battery % suddenly drops to very low % say 20 or 15%.
This is the problem I am facing and other than this there are no issues with the system.
Would like to know what will be root cause? In my perception it should be some hardware issues rather than software issue.

Hello, I have a very unique problem with my phone. My phone is not charging with the charger nor the usb port,and it just stays at 0%. I am using rooted DDKT3. I faced this problem two days ago, and I flashed the FW again and reset everything and the problem disappeared. I calibrated the battery and it was fine till one hour ago when i connected it for charging, the phone restarted although there was still 15 battery left. Now the battery is stuck at 0% for past one hour. I faced this problem after trying to change some fonts and boot animations using ROM Toolbox. what might be the cause?Anybody else faced this problem? If yes how did you fix the problem? Thanks for the help
Just remove your battery and check if there's any physical "lump"/abnormalities...
If yes, then you have to replace the batt...

My new 2days old MMX a87 has entered into a big problem.
Now eveni connect to the PC or charger the phone battery isnt charging, its just showing the graphics on the status bar but after lot time, i think i waited for a night still the battery shows same amount and the phone dies

The problem can be with the battery, the charger, the connector or the motherboard.
My phone is dead ..its not charging at all...kept for charging whole night but no use
I was using S5 rom...red indicator light is showing when connect charger but phone not booting up...
Phone is not booting in recovery mode also...Please Help !!!!

i have same issue with the mmx a114, showed up to service centre they said motherboard has to be replaced but it cost 3200, can any thing done about this
This is my first time encountering this problem.
I was charging my Note yesterday when it reached 15% of the battery. However, even though it was connected to the charger and the charging icon appears, the battery life of my Note is decreasing until it drains the battery. I charged it overnight but unfortunately, It only charged up to 3%. I already sacrificed my files just to reset/reboot the Note but the battery won't still charge properly.
I've tried almost everything. Wiped the cache partition, rebooting the tablet, and uninstalling everything. But the battery stays at 0%. Is it the motherboard? Hope not.
I highly doubt that it's the connector/charger because the lightning icon appears when I connect it. I'm a newbie. I really want to identify the problem and solve it.
Define problem first to eliminate .
Replace battery or use another charger to rule out battery/charger problems .
Clean usb charging port .
100% charged battery that drops quickly >. factory reset first test again .
My device is LG P715
Its been 4 years working fine. Recently I have charging issues that battery will only charge up to 65 - 70% then it will decrease to 0% even in charging. So I thought it was a battery problem and replaced with new original battery, the same problem continues, then I replaced charger. Now the issue is the same, nowadays its only charging up to 20% only in rare cases goes to 60%. Please help me to fix this
Note: I have tried different wall charger and different power source. Charged battery alone with multi charger, same result. Asked a repair person for damaged charging port, he Said it was not the problem. I have also tried changing the rom rooted and installed custom firmware, also tried with recent update. But none worked for me.
