[Q] Does anybody know where to find the files of Quick Record toggle?

I have been using CM based Roms and using the Quick Record tile,but I don'tknow where to find the saved files, does anybody know where?

Here i use mahdi rom and i can see the records in folder PODCASTS. :good:

Just open gallery app, open the video and see the path it's stored.. If it's not synced yet in gallery then install this app DiskUsage

Open it and see where the screenrecord file is...

Thanks for your help but is not a screen recording file what I am looking for is voice file recorded using the Quick Record tile

Oh Ohk, in that case it's saved in the root of the sdcard...
Navigate to /sdcard/ and there will be a file named quickrecord.3gp

Still no luck, I found a file named quickrecord.3gp in data/data/systemui/ but is not that one should be more and 3gp is a video format not

I'm on AICP which is AOKP based and by using the quickrecord toggle, the sound file is saved as a .3gp file in /sdcard/.. So suggested it to ya!

OK I appreciate your help, I will keep looking for it in root

Stock audio_effects.conf

Could someone please either upload or copy and paste the contents of the audio_effects.conf file in the system/ect folder please, it would be very helpful!

I believe it's better to reflash the stock firmware all over again in your case, on mine I had a backup.

[Q] [Request] Flashable zip of stock camera app for 920t

So I tried a camera mod and i broke my stock camera app, so does anyone have a flashable zip so I can get my stock camera working again? or if anyone has a step by step to manually replace the files that would be cool too. Thanks guys!

That didn't work it's the right apk but it won't install it launch. Thank you though

[MOD] ☆UPDATE☆ Floating_Message

Hello everyone
I put together a Floating message zip that should work for all Note 5 variants! But only tested on Tmo N920T. So make a back up, flash and report back with model confirming that it worked or not!
Just flash zip in recovery, reboot and your good to go and now have Floating messages

Im going to put together a manual instruction way to get it to work! I will post soon! In the meantime, go to privapp and delete air message and air message proxy and Secmms_delight_note_open folders, reboot! And that will remove

Manual instructions for Floating message:
Extract my zip and copy air message, air message proxy and Secmms_delight_note_open folders to system/priv-app folder and set permissions for both folder and apk.
Copy this line to feature.xml and others.xml at the bottom found in system/csc.
<CscFeature_Common_EnableAirMessage>TRUE</CscFeature_Common_EnableAirMessage>
Hit save after both and reboot!
Look in settings and floating meesage should be there and look like picture below.
These are the files and what i did to make it work! If it doest work, go back and make sure you have the 3 folders in privapp with correct permissions set for folder and apk and make sure you have that line in feature.xml and others.xml.
Pictures below show how permissions and xmls should look!

Try this really quik... go to system/privapp and tell me if you have a Secmms_delight_note_open and Secmms_delight_note_usa folder....if you do go to usa apk and change the apk name to Secmms_delight_note_usa.bak, just change the apk to bak and reboot and see if it shows in settings

If you can learn to fiddle with this stuff like you just did, you will figure out how to make other mods to work too Thats how i learned! Alot of trial and error and lots of restoring back ups, but it took me a few days to figure this on out! Have a great weekend brotha:beer:

[Completed] Huawei mate 8 BootSound

I changed my boot animation and wanted to change the bootsound too. So, I replaced the BootSound.ogg file with the one I wanted but when phone boots, there is no audio whatsoever.
Location of bootsound: "/system/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg"

Hello and Welcome to XDA-developers!
Did you cheeked if the file isn't corrupt and if it plays the sound on any music app? Be aware that file have to be the exact name of stock one

Yes, the file is playing properly and also it has the exact name of the stock bootsound.
