[Q] ZTE Supreme Bootloop - General Questions and Answers

I rooted my ZTE Supreme about a year ago and didn't install any custom ROMs. I didn't make a backup because I never thought I'd need it, and I didn't install CWM recovery. I installed a custom boot animation and got stuck in a bootloop. I can boot to default recovery, but not CWM recovery. I have no way to fix this issue with ADB or anything else computer related because the USB port on my phone broke (the charger bent a bit too far and broke it). Is there any way to fix this, like installing CWM on an SD card and installing it with default recovery, or am I stuck with a brick? Any help would be appreciated!

Please Help if you can :( ROM borked my phone -- Wont Boot

I tried flashing a Cyanogen ROM onto my nexus one yesterday and I fear I have no way of recovering.
I had made a nandroid backup prior to trying to flash the ROM through ROM Manager, but for some reason my recovery does not have any nandroid options in it since the ROM install went bad.
The phone isn't bricked as I can get into recovery, but I have no way of accessing my backup, and I can't seem to flash my phone with any ROM's, even the official ones. (get status 7 error on official ones). The phone will not boot up at all (other than bootloader ect), not even the animation starts.
The phone is a NEXUS ONE and was unlocked via UltimateAndroot which shouldn't do anything to the boot loader.
This is my business phone so any help would be greatly appreciated as I rely heavily on my phone for work.
Thanks

htc one x wiped unrooted boot loop

Hi folks hoping someone that's not an idiot can help me
I was modding my phone for the first time. I unlocked the boot loader and been the genius I am I assumed this meant it Was also rooted . I then attempted to install cm10 and it looks like I wiped the whole device and it is now in a boot loop. I can get into recovery but noting helps there .My phone is still showing in device manager . I flashed the clock work recovery and now I have the twrp recovery flashed. Twrp allows me to mount the SD card so I can put files on and move them around with a copy an past action with twrp . I tried an ruu but can not find my software version . In tried a couple but they won't work. So two questions really before I bin or see if o2 will fix it. 1. Does it sound like its bricked ? 2. Can I root it with out bottling up soi can put an operation system onto it ? Or if any one has any suggestions. Thanks folks

[Q] SL101 Boot loop

Hey guys, I've searched around and tried various things and I feel like I am just regressing this thing worse and worse.
Here's what I can recall about my situation:
SL101, rooted using nachoroot and put an ICS rom on it. not sure which. worked great.
decided I would switch ROMs one day and ran into the glitch where if you install too large of a file onto the sd card it reboots in the middle and you have a corrupt ROM.
ended up wiping a lot of stuff and I was stuck with no ROM, CWM recovery, and boot loop.
trying to get back to stock and sell the thing since I left it bricked for awhile and didn't use it much before anyway. so I tried ASUS's website for their stock file and it runs in recovery and I'm back to stock recovery but still a boot loop.
Not sure where to go from here, any ideas?
TLR- stock recovery, boot loop
Did you try APX mode?

[Completed] My phone only boots into Recovery mode. (CWM)

So recently I've taken my hand at attempting to install Cyanogen on my phone. But I believe something went wrong.
I installed CWM onto my phone and wiped my SD card clean. Then via ADB, I transferred the files required into my phone and installed the firmware. However, upon loading it, I ran into multiple errors so I decided to format the system/sdcard again and reinstalled it.
Now whenever my phone turns on, it just goes straight into recovery. I've attempted to use multiple ROM files to install onto my phone but nothing works. My phone is an LG Optimus G Pro ("e980") using CWM recovery if that helps. I'm honestly a little scared that I permanently damaged this phone. The only real thing I can accomplish is installing a ROM into the phone, so I know for a fact that if I can pass this loop, there's an OS waiting for me. :/

You flashed the recovery as boot, you can flash your boot img or reflash the whole rom...
You should be able to boot properly
Click to collapse
With the assistance of TWRP in a zip file, I was able to flash my outdated CWM away.
Thank you for the confirmation, was scared if I flashed a recovery in a recovery, I would of lost something.
Great that you solved your problem.

[Resolved] Phone stuck booting after flashing custom ROM

Before trying to flash a custom ROM, I have previously rooted my phone through TWRP. I forgot to do a backup, and wiped the whole phone (except the SD card). After flashing the ROM, my phone has been stuck in a bootloop, but it can still boot to TWRP. The ROM I was trying to boot was CM 12.1 and I am using a Lenovo A5000. I still don't know if the phone can be recognized by a USB. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks for the help in advance.
Edit1: I just confirmed that the phone can be recognized by a USB.
Edit2: Just fixed this problem. If you downgrade the OS, it will boot properly.
