Rooted in the usual way. Full data connectivity before hand and now nothing afterwards. Any advice?
Everything is still stock just rooted OnePlus One. At&t Go plan is up to date with an extra month already paid for.
What do you mean by "No data"?
Aren't you able to connect to the internet or is it something else?

My signal indicates that I have no connectivity when I use an APN other than stock. It is a orange signal. When I use the stock ATT LTE APN I have nothing, a full signal but it is like a roaming no data signal. I am not able to connect to any mobile data network.
Do you have rooted your device?
When you connect to the WIFI, you can get data from the web?

The device is rooted, had data before the root. Yes does have data with wifi just not through the carrier.
Then delete your host file at system>etc>host
then try to reboot the phone.

Hey guys, quick background. I bricked my SGS3 and had to have it replaced. I think I got a refurb phone because from day one I keep having the same issue. First day I got the replacement phone I rooted it and flashed CleanROM 5.0. Everything was peachy until I noticed that I have no 4G or 3G service. In fact, I had no data connectivity at all. My phone can make calls, receive texts no problem, won't connect to internet. If I restart the phone, I have 4G right away. After a few minutes, the 4G icon is on, but the phone won't has no data connection (when I say data connection I mean it will not go online, no internet, no android market, still have voice and txts). If I attempt to go on internet, I get a message saying "No Signal Found For Mobile Networks". I have installed Network Signal Info and right after a restart it says 4G LTE, data connected, upload+download activity. After a few minutes, it says 4G LTE, data connected, after a little while, it will switch to EHRPD, with data "connecting". Also, in the System tab, it will tell me my IEMI and version of JB running, next to "Radio", it says "unknow". WiFi works perfectly btw. My IEMI is perfectly fine,
I had it backed up. My phone number is still there.
Here is what I had tried so far: Switching into and out of Airplane mode, different programs that reset mobile connection, flashed different custom ROMs, flashed the stock kernel, flashed 3 or 4 verizon Modems, Data wipe, cache, Dalvik wipe, Odin'ed back to stock 4.0.1 ICS and had upgraded it to 4.1.1 via verizon software update, changed the SIM card, and reprovisioned the phone with that *3767*whatever the hell code. I'm out ideas.
If anyone has any other idea that I can try before I take it back to Verizon, please, let me know.

Did you go into your mobile data settings to make sure you're on CDMA/LTE? If not I would select and reboot the phone and see if the problem persists. I don't know if you have tried this but it's worth a shot.
I'm having literally the same exact problem with my mom's S3 except for it's not rooted, complete with 'download + upload activity' and 'unknown' radio. I've yet to find anything in my search, but if I do I'll post it here.

I did try that. Nothing seems to be working.
I have a samsung s3 shv-e210l and i was trying to get mobile networks. Ive read several threads but nothing about my case i found. In settings>mobile networks, there is no option for packet data. I can choose access points and enable data connection but the symbol for 3g at the top would not come on.. Whats wrong?? im thinking of flashing the firmware or localizing it. im just afraid it might corrupt my phone and i guess, i dont know what to do really. im new to android

Is your device Rooted?
it doesn't mean that because you don't see the 3g indicator that your not on the 3g network it also depends on the carrier/PRL/Tower, did you enable data over the network?
After running the update, while connected to my data and wi-fi my nexus tells me there is no data connection, how do I fix this?

look in settings-more-mobile networks---APNs
if its empty or is your apn from your carrier
It's my network APN, what do I do.
Dunno if it's exactly the same issue that I'm having, but every time I get this I have to restart my phone in order to get the data working.

If your Nexus 5 has a SIM, power off the device off remove the SIM re-enter and reboot. That fixed it for me.
Just a heads up to anyone who still has the original UDP and wants to keep wifi tethering with FoxFi. YOU CANT.
The 7.0 update blocks wifi tether by foxfi and bluetooth tether. I was able to get USB tether to work using PDAnet but your pretty much stuck to using a pc or mac.
also... there was something i read about ejecting the sim as you try to enable the stock wifi hotspot, as a trick that worked. unfortunately that seems to have been blocked by verizon - the phone forces you to reboot a before you get any connectivity back after ejecting a sim card.
Marshmallow downgrade is easy and effective. You will have to clear data and freeze the Samsung updater afterwards but oh well.
Sucks that I can't do what I want with MY device.

Silly question - how do you downgrade to Marshmellow? By using Factory Data Reset?
Well this sucks. I guess good I didn't upgrade yet
Foxfi works fine on my Verizon s6 edge... Just go to settings and turn on WiFi Hotspot as if you are paying for it and it starts foxfi

I'd reference this thread on downgrading.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s6/general/downgrade-6-0-1-to-5-1-1-t3489816
Factory Data Reset just wipes your apps, media, settings, accounts and etc. It is what you would you use if you were to resell or return your phone for some reason.
It doesn't touch the firmware.
You will use the Factory Data Reset from Maintenance mode in the process of downgrading after you flash the appropriate firmware. But before you go downgrading don't forget to turn off re-activation lock. And all of this is if your phone's firmware is still down-gradable. :silly:

Mmm, it says I need to purchase a subscription.
So many years I've used my phone as a hot spot. I paid for FoxFi, etc. This is really disappointing.
I've tried "Net Share", but it's a pain and limited - had to install software on my laptop, etc.
Do I have any options with this phone? Is there a phone that will work?
What's the best Wifi Hotspot app that works on 4a and uses local phone data rather than 'mobile hotspot' data with carrier. TIA
edit: I've tried PDA Net, NetShare, NetBridge and others and none work. The wifi connects but no data. It is an Android 10 thing? I used to be on LOS ROM so haven't had to do this for years.
PDA Net works. You just have to make sure that you're using the client to connect otherwise you won't get data. I ran into the same thing this morning when trying it out.
