FAQ
1. What is cleaned app?
Cleaned app is an original app loaded by wrapper. Granular permission management can be realized after cleaning. App cleaning will wrap the original app in your phone locally and reinstall the wrapped app so all access to privacy will be controlled. The wrapped app is exactly the same one as the original app, except it is loaded by the wrapper, so it is safe to use. The way we process an app is similar to Amazon. For cleaned version, autostart and background running can be disabled, and privacy access can be denied.
2. What permissions can be controlled after cleaning?
Granular app permissions includes autorun, background running, notifications, SMS sending, call making, SMS access, call log access, contact access, phone number acquisition, and location.
3. How to update an original app to cleaned version?
There are 3 ways to get app “cleaned”:
1) All apps downloaded from MoboClean are cleaned version.
2) Update apps downloaded from other markets to cleaned version through “Permission”>“App Manager”>“Original”
3) Set Cleaning Installer as default installer. Apps installed by Cleaning Installer are cleaned version as well.
4. Can cleaned apps update as usual?
Yes. Through two ways:
1) The most convenient way: Update through MoboClean
2) Install update APK through Cleaning Installer
5. Differences between cleaned app and the original app
Cleaned app is on the basis of the original app but with a wrapper. The wrapped app is exactly the same one as the original app, except it is loaded by the wrapper, so granular permission control can be realized.
Declaration: MoboClean will not gather or upload any of your private data.
6. Cleaned app is not pirated one and contains no virus!
App cleaning means adding a wrapper to the original app to have fine-grained permission control, which will cause signature change. Cleaned version may be recognized as pirated or unsafe by some security or market apps, please ignore it.
Thank you so much for your everlasting support!!
Remind: UU AppPurifier does not need to "root" your phone. It will wrapper the original apk locally, then re-install the app. After that, you can control the permission dynamically. Only apps you want to control need to be "purified". Your suggestions are welcome!
All comments are welcome!
Let us know what you request from our app. We’ll work hard on the improvements.

Does work the update through Playstore after "purification"?
gonna love this!! great app man!!
anyway I noticed that after I purified one of the apps, its still showing in the android running apps list but with service:0 and consume 0.00mb memory, so is it safe to assume that it's not running? (neither app or service...)
Thanks and keep up the good job!

Hi uusafe,
I just found out that once I purified "Shazam Encore" (before first start), I'm not able to signon from Google or Facebook from inside of the Shazam app.
Is there a workaround for this to be released soon?
And...is there an option to remove purified app from the list? For it to become original app?
Many thanks
After installing this phone became slow and broke some apps I have. Will also uninstall and reinstall all your apps so alot at least 1 hour before you can use your phone again. You will also be signed out of your apps that requires signing in

true for those apps which are signed in via Google+ or Facebook...that's what I would like AppPurifier to improve on next version

Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want to remove the purified app you can uninstall the purified one and install the original one. Furthermore, we will add an "un-purify" feature in recent version.
As for "Shazam Encore", we are testing on it. And we think it may because of the block from Google or Facebook to get corresponding information to sign. Purification of Facebook may solve this problem. We are testing on it and you can have a try if you want
Would like to ask something more about Shazam Encore.
1. What's the version of it
2. When did it need to signon? To share or to purchase or other condition?
Thanks for your prompt reply!
The Shazam Encore is just one of the apps that allows login via Google+ or Facebook. I believe in general (not only Shazam) purified apps unable to login with Google+ or Facebook. Some apps I need to login (either via Google+ or Facebook) because it can provide personal experience such as storing my favorite songs or publish my post on Facebook, etc.
FYI the Shazam Encore I downloaded as of today is the latest version ie. 5.3.3
Another example of app that failed to login(bind) via Facebook is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mt.mtxx.mtxx&hl=en
Thanks for your hardwork

You can turn on the auto-installer function(turn on it in menu->settings) which can simplify the procedure of purication greatly.
Purification should not cost that long What is the purification time for one app on average?
About the sign in part: Did you sign through Google+ or Facebook app?
BTW, we are working on solution for the login issue and will release it in a few weeks.

( 2 ) If I've Google+ app or Facebook app/client installed, then it will proceed to client to complete the sign-in. It will then popup Google or Facebook permission window and user is asked to click "OK" to proceed sign-in.
( 1 ) Otherwise, (without Google/Facebook client installed), it will proceed to web sign-in (same like weibo sign-in screenshot you posted), I believe it's the case for the apps that adopt such sign-in methods.

Hi everyone. Im one of the developers of SwitchMe, and app that allows multiple secure logins into separate installations of android on a single device. The pr is after the break.
I really need a few people to check into some issues people on the original Tab have been experiencing. There are some warnings involved:
- testers must perform a full nandroid backup before using the app, it is not our responsibility if you start getting boot loops
- if you report results or bugs, please use the "Write to us" function in the app whenever possible, and always describe the issue in the header of the logs you send
- if you post here, be sure to include your device type and rom
- if you have apps installed on sd, be sure to mention that as well
--------------------------------------------------------------------
SwitchMe is a unique application for root users that allows you to log in and out of multiple installations of Android just as you would on a desktop computer.
The technology behind SwitchMe saves all of your applications and data, protects it and stores it as a file in memory. You can then log out of an
account and log into a fresh installation of Android or another account with its own unique content.
You may create as many profiles as the memory is capable of holding. Some of these may require very little free memory because they contain few apps,
others will be larger as they contain many applications and lots of cache and data.
Why is this functionality useful?
Privacy - the most obvious benefit is that you can securely share one device among multiple users, which gives you privacy and peace of mind.
Testing - if you are a developer, you can use profiles as clean sandboxes to test your applications and their interaction with the system.
Gaming – with multiple installations of Android on a single device, you can now play online MMOs as different characters.
Speed - the games your kids play slow down your tablet, but with SwitchMe you can easily create profiles without games or instant messengers.
Battery life - when the battery is low but there are important emails or documents to edit later, switch to a profile which only contains these essentials.
These of course are only suggestions - there are plenty of other uses for the functionality SwitchMe offers.
Market link:
https://market.android.com/details?id=fahrbot.apps.switchme
The Lite version allows the creation of two profiles, enough to test on.
Screens:
SwitchMe 1.2 has been rolled out and now includes a lockscreen replacement:
1.2
Added lock screen for logging in and out
More stable Fast switch implementation
Reworked UI colors
Now, its very important that we get some feedback on how this big new feature works, so please read up on it in the help and post your thoughts!
1.2.2 - HOTFIX 2
Reworked widget on qHD+ displays
Fixed widget text on HC and ICS
Fast switch improved on older devices
So guys any comments?
There is no way this app affects recovery whatever youre doing wrong its a user error.

No access to the Market as, AGAIN, no Google apps at all, and so no Market !
I just created the profiles as instructed BUT this apps did NOT copied the Samsung ROM correctly... Don't know what happens with Recovery ???
I've spent the whole night to find out a way to flash back my backup.
This is my report and I can't change it and since this is your first report with this device, I guess ???.
Then telling this is a user error, please explain what was my error except being your first beta tester with your app on this device ???

I cant explain anything to you because your description of the issue makes no sense - all i can say is that its not possible for this app to modify the recovery partition. Its physically impossible.
The lack of gapps is probably because they were bot installed in /system. Same with superuser. Check your rom for more info.
Any issues to report?
Not working on Galaxy tab GT-P1000
Hi,
Exact same problem as Arobase40.
I Installed Switchme, added 2 accounts (one for actual user and a new user). Then rebooted. No more market (and google apps) nor SuperUser. SwitchMe and Cwm complain I didn't give root permission.
Is there a solution or do I have to flash rom with Odin ?

That means there are symlinks to the /system or /data folders where the gapps and superuser are stored. That is the problem - the app does not and will never support these links.
Any issues with the new build?
No... I'm not willing to take into account individuals. I work with the lowest common denominator. Dont like it? Don't use it. Frankly, arguing with a dv really isn't going tointuce him to help you...

Does that mean all SGT P-1000 will have the same problem? I have no problem losing gapps, I can always download it from goo manager. I'm afraid I would lose superuser/root access like they did.
Will it work on ICS CM-9mod (MTD)?
It would be a killer app if this can work.
No of course not. It applies only to roms with symlinks.
Well I just moved from CM9 to AOKP and because I am not a dev, I wouldn't know if they use any symlinks or not when they make their custom ROM.
But I decided to go ahead install ur app and see if it will work. We'll find out soon.
Here goes nothing. I hope it will work.

Hey! So far it works! That means:
1. This apps works for SGT-P1000 with CM9 Rom, as well as AOKP rom
2. both AOKP and CM9 builds do not have symlink.
Here are the test cases I did
(You asked us to test just the compatibilityto P1000 not the functionality)
preps:
1. downloaded SwithMe from Google play. App automatically installed
2. Backed up everything in titanium backup
3. Reboot to Recovery and did nandroid backup
TC1. Startup SwitchMe app Result: App startup, displaying 2 warnings.
Warning 1. Preparation warning. 2. Apps on Sdcard warning
TC2. - Move allapps on SDcard back to internal sdcard, restart SwitchMe app
result: 1warning displayed.
- Confirm warning
result: Superuser asks for confirmation for access
- Confirm superuser access Result: App goes to empty page with "Add profile" button.
TC3 Create 2 profilea
Result: Both created.
TC4. Activate Profile, reboot.
Result: Tablet rebooted and started normally
TC5. Activate profile 2, Reboot
Result1: Tablet rebooted and started as a new untouched rom,
prompting user to initial wizard.
Result2: SwitchMe app available, while other user apps are not available.
Result3: gapps are still available.
I hope this helps.
Thank you. A pleasure to see someone actually help us out!
My pleasure.
Pointers for users:
1. Using different google accounts for different profiles will prevent you from downloading app from playstore (error message).
2. Do not select google backup when setting up second profile. If you select google backup, it will automatically install missing apps from google market, therefore you will have an exact clone with your main profile at the end.
Once you get used to it, it is a nice app to have.
Hi bros,
I am Linux developer and have some years using Android phone. Like many root users, I initially use Titanium Backup for making backups for my apps in my device. But I found that it has so many functions and looks jumbled for me to use just app backup/restore. Additionally, it seems to be buggy and failed to handle some of my apps.
I also used some other softs such as App Backup but it is unable to make backup the data/settings of an app. Or another one is Ultimate Backup, this soft is really cool but it looks colorful unnecessarily personally with me and uses a local font for the UI, the one makes it not compatible to many of my apps in my language
So I decide to write an app for my own - Efficient Backup. You can find it on the Play right now.
Yes, like its name, I just focus into the real efficiency of a backup/restore app.
Therefore, all I would like to share with you is: A fast, smart, easy-to-use Backup/Restore soft with simple UI but efficient operation.
Though I made and used it for my own for long time w/o any problem. But releasing to Market is another story. So I am willing to hear feedback from you to improve it. So please feel free to twit or send email to me as hainguyen273 (for both Twitter and Gmail)
BTW, I would like to present to you other products by our APS Technology Group. They are:
- Quick Exit (Froyo+) for ending any running app just by long-pressing Camera/Seach button or pulling down the status bar to click
- Quick Settings] for fastest way to switch on/off Wifi/bluetooth/Data/GPS...
- SmartBar for managing apps/tasks and pin everything you like to status bar
- ... so on. You can easily find more our products on Market.
Thanks for attention,
Hainguyen273 from APS Technology Group.
Cheers!
Edit: A ton of new features added in new version.
For example:
- Batches APK Installer: You can use the built-in files Browser to select and install hundreds of apps (APKs) instantly anytime. Batch mode is supported by default (such an ability allows to ignore pressing confirmation button)
- Automatic APK Installer: allows your device to automatically install APKs in a preset folder, also in batch mode.
- Backed up archives Importer: Unique function which allows you to restore app on archives created by other Backup soft such as Titanium Backup, App Backup&Restore, Ultimate Backup... It also allows you to create yourself a quick backup by using any rooted Files Browser to manually copy the app and data directories of apps to anywhere on the SD card, then you can make restore later with the help of Import...> Other... button
- An unique set of tools provided for handling app issues, such as FC Fixer, App Repairer, App storage cleaner, Reset the app to brandnew state, System app Remover, Free/defrost apps, Batches of apps uninstaller...

I haven't yet tried your app. From the descriptions and your provided screenshots, it looks like a very efficient backup tool. The only problem is that I rely heavily on Titanium to manage the apps that I usually freeze after a new ROM flash. I can save my custom lists of "To Be Frozen", "To Be Installed After ROM Flash", "Battery Draining Suspects", etc in Titanium and do batch freezing/defreezing/uninstalling/backing up/restoring of desired lists in one click.
For someone who is not so obsessive/compulsive about such list management, you app would be a very good choice.
Is the app free? Does it restore apps in batches, or one at a time?

Yeah sure, man. I made this app exactly for those who have not so much the need of list management. But as for the need of restoring desired apps after installing rom, my app provided the Save list button especially for that. However, I dont think this feature is a fit for your need, but I recommend you to give a try just for the speed and the smoothness of its backing/restoring task

New update V1.0.1 released.
- ICS has been supported.
- New features:
+ Standalone smart App Installer with automatic/manual storage selections when installing app. Batch mode supported. You can browse for selecting hundreds of apps to install at a time. So quick, so easy!
+ Batches App Uninstaller: So quick and easy again to unsinstall a batch of apps in seconds. Missed clicks? It is smart enough in providing automatic and manual Yes/No buttons. Just up to you only.
+ An unique tool: App Storage Cleaner. Such a tool allows you to scan and clean up the dead packages/app/data in all app storages in the device. As a result, it returns to you a fast and light device
- Performance has been improved even more. It was fast, so now it is even faster.
I though tried to fix as many bugs as you guys reported as possible, but if you have any issue not yet resolved, just let me know.

So I think I'll stick with it if I don't find any problems(I haven't test it yet, I just installed it).
Anyway, If you' re interested for localization of your app, I can translate it to greek.
Just post the xml files to start.
Thanks.
Have tried this and got few issues.
1. It complained there is no insufficient memory on sdcard(in fact huge is there) but when i skipped that file remaining were restored successfully.
2. Out of 37 apps 3 failed, don't know the reason. App doesn't tell anything.
Haven't tried restored anyway. Im on defy cm9 nightly.

Authenticator Plus in Press
I was super excited to find this application. It solves my biggest grievances with Google Authenticator, and does it in a way that is largely invisible to the user (until it matters!). -techThreads
Recommended by Wordpress Authenticator plugin - http://s.www.authenticatorplus.com/wp
NOTE : As a commitment to XDA users, where I have uploaded my first release, I can provide free trial version of the application on request to
It's mind-blowing that Google's own Authenticator on its own Android platform lacks the feature to re-order the account entries, while the iOS version does support this.
And also mind-blowing that it lacks PIN control, any option to sync/ backup, and several of the other highly desirable (even necessary!) features which Mufri has built-in to the Authenticator Plus app.
I've also been pleased by Mufri's responsiveness and willingness to work to make the app have only the needed permissions. We've exchanged several detailed technical and philosophical messages; it's very nice to see yet another developer devoted to our community.
I can't make any claims about the security of the app as I'm not a developer (well, haven't been since twenty years ago) and I lack the tools, but I hope that others with more skills than I have will analyze the app and can confirm the app's health so the app can be established as a much better reference than Google's own minimally featured Authenticator, and that we can get Mufri lots of users!
Thanks Mufri,
-Jay

I am open for the security related queries about Authenticator Plus, I myself use it daily and I would be happy to improve its security.
If anyone have questions kindly post your queries here or @
This APK is version 1.3
(Latest is 2.9.x, a lot of development has been done in this year as it seems!)
I downloaded the APK to try it out.
It first works when it is installed and I was able to import my accounts from the original Google Authenticator.
Then I closed the app.
I can open it again but the keyboard pops up saying "sign in" (where usually the "enter" button is).
Even when I enter the correct passphrase it shows only an empty app without the codes.
I can also install and add the import plugin but then I don't see the codes anymore.
Used on: CM 10.2 and CM11.
Very strange...
i just installed the app and i have some issues. first of all i would like the option to not choose a passphrase to open the app, but well thats not a big problem. after i choose a passphrase and set the app up and want to start it again it just shows me the header with the logo of the app but everything else is blank, there is no password field to type in the selected password and even if i type it in, without anything showing, it doesnt open the app. i can just use it once and thats it
also import from google authenticator doesnt work. it tells me no root or script not in xbin. well its all there. the problem is probably root, because the dialogue to grant root never shows up. I try to get it now manually granted but still that doesnt help if i can start the app only once :/
I am on a galaxy note 3. hope someone can help me...
Yes, attached APK was outdated, I have removed it now.

Just FYI, I also get a blank page in Firefox with AdBlockPlus, but the page displays properly in an IE (InPrivate) session.
Thanks for the info, I couldn't reproduce this myself in various browsers, is https version working fine?
https://www.authenticatorplus.com/
I will check for cross platform browser tests.

Ah, oops, my bad - had nothing to do with AdBlockPlus; I use NoScript, and hadn't enabled script on the authenticatorplus.com page. Works fine in both http:// and https://
Sorry.
Cool, thanks for the info, I will add a noscript info in site.
Compatibility with Pebble Smartwaches
Hi !
Has anyone tried to use Authenticator Plus with a Pebble smartwach, through Android Wear integration ?
I'll get an Pebble Time in May and hope it will work with it, that's why I'm asking for a clue
Interesting, I never heard of anyone tried it, let me know how it goes .
Store site order in cloud sync?
I use Authenticator Plus with cloud sync via Google Drive.
It seems that the order in which I have the accounts in Authenticator Plus does NOT get sync'd to the cloud (or, if it does get sync'd up, then when the sites are imported back down from the cloud, the order is not maintained).
Can the author comment please?
thanks,
Jay
from last release(3.3.5), app shows more details about sync status in Settings -> Cloud -> last sync status and let me know, what's the last status.
Also please contact for faster response.

Pebble don't get it working through Android Wear, I think a layer is missing, maybe like an "emulator" (not the way Google implemented it) that can send other things but notifications to Pebble (it's the only thing supported for now).
Anyway, IMO for Authenticator Plus it will requires an Pebble OS app and a modification to makes it work as a companion.
Hi,
I would like to add a Battle.net account but the app fails to connect to battle.net server, is this something you can fix ?
edit : and do you think you can add Steam support in future release ?
Same problem with the battle.net server. No matter if I try it at home or at work or via LTE.
Since the Blizzard battle.net Authenticator works and I can access the battle.net site without any problem I suspect a problem with the Authenticator+ App. Syncing time with battle.net is also not working btw (in the settings)
Is the app working in 6.0? If Yes, could u send me a trial?
I'm surprised no one has reviewed this app but I'll give it a shot. *edit- attached pics keep going away each time I edit this post. Take a look at the attachments for screenshots.
My Android Tools (free version)
My Android Tools(Pro)
This is an app I stumbled across by chance or mentions in random forum posts and maybe those who've played with it do only a few things such as disable startup items but it's a lot more powerful than that in regards to blocking in-app ads and trackers.
Now, blocking stuff is a multi-prong approach.
You have Adaway for removing the DNS requests for both apps and browser traffic. MAP targets in-app stuff- not browser traffic. That's why you'd do something like Adaway + MinMinGuard/Adblocker XPosed modules. They actually target blocking the code in the app.
something like XPrivacy for sending random info instead of what an app wants from you
And a bunch of apps and XPosed modules to do things like block receivers or in-app ads.
I've whittled it down to Adaway + *Youtube Adaway + *CrappaLinks + My Android Tools(Pro)
*XPosed Modules
from now on I'm calling My Android Tools MAP
First, make a backup of your ROM
Next, make a backup in the About screen in MAP. The optional thing is if you want MAP to open after every app install/upgrade for review of new and updated apps.
*screenshot
The 3 things we'll look at are Services, Broadcast Receivers and Activities.
Services- things that run whenever
Broadcast Receivers - things that respond to system events (boot, connectivity changes, timezone changes, packages added, etc)
Activities - ads and junk that pop up on your screen. Developers add 3rd party sdk's to show pop-ups and stuff. This is how XPosed Modules such as MinMinGuard and Adblocker work
ContentProvider - still haven't figured out if I find stuff here yet. Maybe in Google Play Services it might have some analytics provider but it's basically things that share things with other apps.
*screenshot
Under Services I mainly look at Analytics and Campaign Tracking svcs. It's up to you but these do offer legit tracking analytics to developers.
Google to see what they do
*screenshot
Broadcast Receivers a few apps that do look at a limited selection of these like XPosed module ReceiverStop
mainly I look at 2 of them:
android.intent.action.BOOT_COMPLETED
com.android.vending.INSTALL_REFERRER
*screenshot
Finally, Activities
This is how MinMinguard and the like block things. We're going to block more because MinMinGuard just has a hardcoded list (see above link to its source code. That's what frustrated me about MinMinGuard. If I'm going to block this stuff I'd rather not have a hardcoded list as ad blocking should be equal opportunity if a user is going that route.)
under here it's really about getting familiar with names of ad networks. Here's a hint
I just downloaded a random app to find one with a bunch of fun things.
*screenshot
Great guide, thank you.

yw, thanks for the nudge to put it together
Also, note disabling some activities core to an app can cause loss of functionality, force closes, icon removed from the app drawer, etc. That's why I toggle showing the long description of things (that <> button) so I know which are main pieces.
Unity is a library for game development so most of it is actually the app if you see that one a lot.
Sometimes I use the search to look for ad, analytic, track, campaign
Official worst app I've seen for ad activities : agar.io
It's one of the Google recommended apps of 2015 and I was able to find and block 35 ad network activities.
I can't imagine what it's like to actually play the app and what info about you gets collected
@jawz101 : There is an older thread where is shared this app along with an guide which stuff to disable: [SHARE] [APP] MyAndroidTools + Guide to disable some Play Services processes Add it to OP...
@Force I'm wary of disabling too many Google Play Services. I mainly look at the analytics and ads stuff but even then I wonder what repercussions any of it has on battery life. Say, if an app calls for a specific function and it's no longer able to retrieve the information would it cause a force close or get hung in some loop and chew up CPU? I dunno.
Anyone having FCs with the latest version?? It doesn't seem to open at all.. I have a note 4 N910C, on 5.1.1 COJ5, rooted, xposed.
i have been using this for many roms and it saves loads of ram and helps your phone/tablet boot up quicker,i read somewhere that it dont work with xposed or mm both are wrong because i use it on AICP MM ROM and have Xposed installed for XinternalSD and have had no problems at all.
I do submit any crashes if they happen and have emailed the dev in the past when crashes happened. I used to get app crashes until several months ago when trying to backup the current config or when clicking the Content Providers menu option but no longer. Sometimes I completely wiped my device to get it to stop crashing. Since it's been updated these past few months those problems don't occur.
You may want to try reinstalling the app, clearing its data, rebooting, etc to see if something fixed your app crash. Make sure your device I is rooted and the My Android Tools app does indeed have root privileges. Given the nature of the app it may take some error submissions and logcats sent to the dev.
Good to see that somebody reviewed and created a thread for this great app.
Just one question here (if someone could help out) - unlike other apps, Skype seems to be way too stubborn. By mistake I once turned off the connectivity change broadcast receiver. Now, no matter what I do I cannot toggle this receiver back on. WHY? I tried pretty much everything. Rebooting, enabling the receiver from within SD Maid pro, tried making a backup of MAT and then editing this backup manually to remove the tweak for skype but it all failed. With other apps I can toggle their receiver, activities and everything however I see fit and the toggles remain put. With Skype, however, it's a fail. Any help?
Let x
Great tutorial.
As you seem to be very clever with MyAndroidTools, do you have any idea how to spot the services to disable with MyAndroidTools, in order to kill UC news inside the 11.4.5.1005 UC browser last release :
For more or less one week, UC browser has become unusable for Android nowadays with forcing every user with b******* news, foxnews search engine, star magazine search engine, googlenews search engine, yahoo search engine, uc browser search engine, 9app, music player and many more.
Do you think MyAndroidTools could be able to strangle this overwhelming flow of stupidity ?
If yes, there are so much possible items among Services (run whenever), ...
What could be a method to spot the tap and turn it off?
thx
is there any FOSS alternative?
Can't locate in the Play store?
Has the app been removed from the play store? If so is there any chance you could make the file available here? This has been a favorite app of mine for quite sometime. Would hate to see it fade into oblivion.
Guys this was a one-stop app for me...can somebody make the apk here??

I don't know if I would be violating any XDA rules or not. For sure this app is no longer available on the Play store and the developer unfortunately didn't respond to my email. If I can be assured that I'm not violating any XDA rules, I'll gladly share. PS, I love this app I use it for so many things

I bought it on google play and suddenly it disappeared. I contacted the creator and he wrote me he violated some rules (?) of google play and they cutted off his account, but he send me the full apk. But I don't know if I can share it here and if he wants to share the full version. Anyway it's still possible to find it on some websites (apkmirror and something else).
I'm satisfied with it, expecially after I lost money buying autorun manager pro (the developer is not releasing new version, he said he's not interested in it anymore).
Anyway, if someone has any alternative to suggest to My Android Tools Pro it would be good.
Hello everyone.
Because I passed over the "rooting" period, I am more interested in getting the max out of this phone without rooting it.
This thread I intend to make it about apps (useful ones) that requires no root in order to work.
I would start with an ad blocker.
My favourite tool is Blokada - https://blokada.org/
Plain and easy to install and use and works fine.
Next is Vanced - a more adVanced YouTube player. https://vancedapp.com/
Simple to install but, before using it, you must disable MIUI optimization
Another app that worth mentioning is Twilight. If you are a night phone user, this app is here to protect your eyes.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.lux
MIUI - Contacts and dialer
If the stock (Google) dialer and contacts is not for you, you can try the MIUi - Contacts and dialer app, slightly more aesthetic.

If you want a more loud sound - even if on this stereo speakers phone isn't really necessary, you can use Volume Booster. Beware of not setting it over 20% otherwise you will risk hearing and speakers problems.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodev.volume.booster
I will update the list with some other apps.
If you have something to add, please feel free to share.
WaveUp can turn the screen on and off "automatically" via waving over the proximity sensor. For users of "book covers" the app is quite useful, as you can set it so that the screen is activated by opening the cover and deactivated after a predefined time after closing it.

Termux. It's impressive what it can do without root.
Does having to use adb to grant permission count? If not any Package Disabler can do some damage
SD maid, it may be an old app but it still does thinks better than a lot of apps.
Can't forget about how useful Mixplorer can be. I have not looked for a different file browser because it I can't think of anything it can't do.
Adaway works without root now, not sure how well because I go nuts not having root, lol
And my newest discovery, the one that actually caused me to get rid of Chrome completely because I found Bromite.
Yes Bromite (Google it) it's such an amazing web browser.
Turmux
Package Disabler
SD Maid
Mixplorer
Bromite (Just try it, you won't regret it. Not on Play Store, Google is afraid of it)

If you are annoyed with your default messages app, coz of the cluttered unorganised ui, and u get lot of sms then try Sms Organizer from "Microsoft". I have been using this app since it first came out, it basically organises all ur messages automatically into categories like transactions, personal, promotion etc. and it only shows you what's important in a message in the popup or notifications panel, for example it will only show you the OTP if u got one msg of it, it will show you the amount debited/credited to ur account if u gat a transaction msg, it will tell u if u got cashback, it will remind you for ur upcoming event and online order delivery stuff. So the conclusion is you must use this app as ur default messenger no matter what phone u r using, this will make your life 10 times easier and the ui is super clean too, it also has dark(amoled) mode.

I'm quite a fan of NoRoot Firewall:
NoRoot Firewall - Apps on Google Play
Firewall WITHOUT ROOT. Host name name filtering, fine-grained access control.
play.google.com
I don't trust a lot of apps and NoRoot works well. It blocks all apps by default and you can choose to allow Internet over wifi, data, both or neither. It also supports filters so you can globally block particular sites.
It's usually the first thing I install when I gte a new phone or reinstall.
You do have to keep in mind that if a trusted app can't access the Internet, NoRoot may be blocking it, so you just enable it and away you go.
Cheers
Steve
