I am Using Xperia M2 Dual D2302 On 18.1.3.b.1.8....
Whenever My Battery Level Reaches 30% Within Seconds
It Falls Down To 24% Even On Standby Mode..This Happens Everytime...battery drains Only After
Reaching 30%...Any Idea About Dis Prob...Plz Help Me...What Should Be The Prob?
It Falls From 30% to 25 o 24%...
Do you know about battery calibration?
Drop it down to 5% then charge your phone offline fully. Use it and drop it down to 5%. After this process you can charge your phone in a regular manner.

Laynee1, did you find the solution. I have same problem with my phone and I don't know what to do.
The thing is that : i just let it go.. I did calibration again
" 1) Turn your device ON and Charge the device for 8 hours or more 2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour 3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour"
And after that wipe batt stats. and after that 2 more full cycles of charge (8 hours and >), and i have pretty good drain.. in standby, it drains little.. Really little.. Overnight it drained like 4% max! Its good (for 8 hours of standby). And in moderate usage it can last even ~24 hours.. I just dont put any battery drain widget (widget that shows mA).. I just dont want to look at them anymore
I recommend you to do the same
If you keep having problems with a low battery life you should contact HTC!
I also did it and I received a new battery because mine drained to fast, even after a softreset.
To check this, turn your phone in airplane mode (thus with wifi, bluetooth etc all turned off), screen brightness to 100% and screen time out to never. Then check how much your battery drained after 2 hours. Mine had only 55% battery left after those 2 hours.
Thank you very much.
I press "Factory data reset" and now the battery in better. Laynee1 I will do what you suggest.
brannos99, my battery resist for 24 hours... I don't think HTC will change my battery. Is strange because the widget shows me that the battery drain is -170mA/minute in standby but after ~30 hours I still have 17% battery.
Until yesterday I had HTC HD2 but its battery resist almost 24 hours with standby consumption -5...-7mA/minute.
I have noticed that when i plug my Z5 in to charge overnight, it will charge to full in just a few hours and then remain plugged in for the next ~6 hours until i unplug the phone 'fully charged" in the morning.
My theory is that the phone loses charge (maybe to protect the battery?) when left plugged in at full charge.
I will only get 3 hours SOT max if i leave my phone charging overnight. But if i unplug my Z5 as soon as it is fully charged i get 5 + hours SOT.
Also, often when i plug my phone into charge at 1 or 2 %, it sometimes actually causes my battery to die, before the phone boots again and starts to charge. Does anyone else notice this?
I am using the stock sony UCH 20 charger with came with my Z5.
What do you guys think?
That does sound peculiar. It should be noted that while it is normal for the phone to protect the battery by cycling between 90% and 100% when plugged in (battery gauge doesn't account for this, that's why it appears full all the time), it definitely shouldn't cause a 40% difference in SOT even if you happened to unplug when the battery is at 90 percent.
Yes, you're right. Once the battery is charged to 100%, the phone stops charging and will let the battery drop to around 92% and once it hits 92% it will start charging again to 100%. Even if you unplug the phone when it's showing 100% after charging at night, it might actually be charged to 93% for example. That's why very often people complain that the first 10% of the battery drops very quickly, while in fact it's just the battery meter catching up with the battery charge. This is done to protect the battery and ensure it retains charge after many cycles.
Regardless of that, the difference should not be that huge. For me it's usually extra 30 minutes SOT.
It seems the stock firmware has a load of random wakelocks but I have hope that a soon to come update will fix most of the issues, if you are rooted I suggest that you use greenify or amplify (reqires xposed)
i was using my phone (meizu m2 mini) (flyme 4.5.4IN) as usual, locked the phone (battery was around 75%) and left if for around 30 minutes and checked my phone and found 13% battery. I plugged my charger and rebooted the phone and after 4 to 5 attempts the phone boots up with 11% battery and charging. i was using the phone as it was charging and suddenly the battery skips from 11% to 6% and then goes to 5% and then goes to 0% comes back to 1% and then again goes to 0% and shuts down due to ow battery.the pone sits in charge with 1% and doesnt pump up more than 1%. Can anybody help me with this?

Greetings and welcome to assist. I would try a battery calibration app and see if that helps, I have found a couple of threads on your device. You could see if the users there have experienced similar issues

hai,
i have a weird Problem well it started after i changed my 3.7 v 3000 mah LI-Polymer Battery for 7 inch 6582 MTK TAblet
well everything works absolutely fine as long as i dont use internet,i mean if i dont use the tablet but leave it on.
The charge lasts more than 60 hrs .if i use it continuously but without internet, The charge lasts for more than 4.5 hrs wich is fine.
But if i start and use internet. the kit kat shows battery draining superfast and brings it down to 0% in around 20 mins
and because the system thinks it needs to close at 0% it shuts down, but immediately when i connct it to charger the real battery status can be seen for example battery charging at 70%
after a minute i disconnect the charger and start Tablet and internet again, it shows battery drainning fast brings to 0% and shuts down
again i connect the charger and real status shows up charging at 60%
so basically the problem is when internet is in use system show faulty drain of battery due to wich it then shuts down whilst in reality the battery has not drained
How to Fix It?
Hi all,
My phone drained 14 percent battery yesterday while idle for 9 hours. The interesting thing is when i add the mAh usages that i see in battery and performance tab it only adds up to 6 percent battery usage. ( i calculated and confirmed with time that 40 mah is aproximately 1% battery)
Also this morning i am seeing an unusual drain as well while the screen is on, it drained 5% but it should have draned only 3% because it says it drained 138 mAh.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem?
This also happened 2 weeks ago and the only thing common both days were, i charged my phone slower (charged using usb on the car) instead of using fast charging.
I also leave the screen shots that shows the battery usage.
Put the phone into Airplane mode when idle: this may save some battery.

yes of course but the battery drain I explained sometimes happens I actually think its a battery indicator bug. Because it shouldn't be draining this much battery because it doesn't show any unusual drain on battery information screen contradicting the percentage lost (14% battery was drained but according to battery information screen it should be 6%)
