Really really weird behaviour during charging - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
just got my opo. Everything fine so far - charged the phone before first use up to 100 with no issues. Then set it up with euphoria 5.0.2 and boeffla.
Tonight I plugged it into my Nexus 10 charger. Now i woke up to this.
Wtf is this? Gained merely 10 percent or so. qpnp-charger wakelock 8 hours and 30 seconds.
Thanks.

What is the Nexus charger rated at? If it's any less than 2amp don't use it. Using anything less than a 2amp charger results in what you're seeing.

[Q] Abrupt battery drain

I'm using CM11 and have had a battery problem over the last couple months, spanning several versions.
I posted in the CM11 Q&A thread and no one seemed to have the same problem, so I'm guessing it's not the software.
Last night I had the problem occur while I was actually using the phone.
Every other time it happened while I wasn't using it.
The phone had 100% battery at ~5pm, and at 10:45pm it simply shut off when it should have had over 60% left.
I couldn't get it to turn on without charging it, and when I finally got it started it was at 4%.
The phone didn't get hot at all, so I have no idea where the power went.
Any ideas?

There are many other ROMs. Try cryptecs ROMs. They're stable and maintained pretty much daily.
Sounds like a dodgy battery to me, no amount of changing ROMs is gonna be able to fix that. I had a similar problem with my Evita, these days it won't stay powered on unless it's connected to a power source. Really takes the 'mobile' out of mobile phone.

Another battery issue

I'm on Purity ROM 5.02, Code Blue, Banks minimal. My n5 use to sleep 99% of the time, now it won't deep sleep at all. Can anyone tell from this what's keeping things on? It drained 25% last night in airplane with wifi off, which is normally 1-2%. No new apps other than layers.

It's probably the system update service wakelock. Pretty much all ROMs are having the issue with the new play services.

When I use the phone the percentage only drops in 30s multiples or 1s close to that.
Is this how it's supposed to be? I've never seen something like this before.

Who's got that battery? 1 hour sot in 10 minutes? That's what I need. The better I get is 40 min while watching videos. The issue is the percentage drop seems locked and the better I get is 5h sot without playing any games, only using social apps like Twitter/Instagram and setting FH+ screen. I already wiped, installed the less amount of apps I could, updated to the last firmware and nothing has really changed.

Charging overnight issue

Had my USB port changed out 2 days ago by ubreakifix because of a charging issue (all under warranty).* The phone charges much better now. I plug my phone in at night.* The phone charges to 100 percent but will over the course of the night still show a charge indication (lightning bolt on battery icon) but the phone will slowly discharge.* I will wake up to anywhere from 85 to 95 percent on the phone.* The issue only occurs when the phone is plugged in for an over night period when it is plugged in for many hours.* Many factory resets accomplished.* I had this issue before the USB port was changed out.* When using the factory charger this doesn't occur. New USB C cable, nothing wrong with the power source. It actually charges pretty quickly when first plugged in. Any ideas what could be the issue?
The screen shot period is plugged in all the time. The part toward the end of the time period when it charges again is a restart.
Thanks

Question Android Never Idle

People,
I have a problem with my A52 because it never gets idle in bedtime.
I've configured a Bixby routine to stop sync and all internet connectivity but the problem continues.
Also installed gsam battery but I have doubt how to locate the service that is causing the behavior.
Could you help me?
How many hours are you getting out of one charge cycle? And how many hours of screen on time are you getting?
We could compare and see if you really have a problem and it might become obvious as to what is causing it too.

Thank you!
I'll get the data from a regular usage day and share here to compare.

24-28 hours is about as much as I get myself, and I see that you've got 1d 3h 46min which is about 27 hours. So I'd say its fine.
