Hi,
Here is a dedicated thread for your device. It claims root and recovery are available for your device. I'd read post one very carefully. Then read the last several pages for the most current discussions. If you have questions, you can ask for help there too...
> General discussion > Questions and Answers > New Galaxy Avant... We have root and a recovery!! Let get some cool ROMs now
Good luck!
Hi all
Just got myself an Asus TF103C and have been looking at other posts here like http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-transformer-pad-tf103c-tablet-root-t2802995/page5
which helped me to root it.
However I have been reading elsewhere that perhaps a custom Lollipop ROM would help things work a bit smoother.
I have found a couple of pages which claim to outline a method taken from the pages of XDA (although I am so far unable to find it on here) and linking to file downloads that seem a bit suspect:
http://www.rom-lollipop.org/mp3-0/asus-transformer-pad-tf103c-6409.html
and here:
http://lollipop500.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/upgradeupdate-transformer-pad-tf103c-to.html
Can anyone please advise me if these are likely to be legitimate or otherwise?
Many Thanks!
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device and Lollipop. You can ask about it here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I won't comment on files you found on other sites, other than saying flashing anything is always a risk that will be on your shoulders , on XDA or other sites.... And no one will take responsibility for your device. Flash at your own risk. If it makes you uncomfortable, then don't do it. That's all I can say. ?
Good luck!

Hello!
This is my first post and I'm a total noob so please bear with me
I need advice on how to root my HTC Desire 826 safely. My friend purchased it for me from China and it came with a whole bunch of stock Bidu apps and bloatware (in Chinese). I just want to root the phone safely and install a ROM that somewhat resembles Android Lollipop.
I came across this website: (system says i can't post any websites, please google "how to root htc desire 826 tutorial"). It looked legit, and I thought this was too good to be true! And then I read some of the comments from the users and it seemed really fishy... None of them had proper English grammar, which is not a big deal, but they had names like Gary Matthews, Pete Boyle, and James McAllister...
Then, I've also read somewhere that some people might want you to install their custom ROM because they've encoded some spyware which could steal your information, and then I got really paranoid.
What should I do? I don't want to brick my phone, and I certainly don't want my security compromised. Your help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Thanks for investigating Bryanrd05! It looks like it might be a long wait

I made some investigation and it seems like there is not a confirmed working root process (or at least not by some XDA member) for your phone yet. It's have been launched recently and only in Asia markets so it might take a while. Just be pacient. About the site you tell, you can actually try, it uses Framaroot (a recognized root procedure for other devices) but i do not recommend it at all, at least until someone else with more knowledge to fix their phone in case of some damage tries it.

Hi,
I have purchased the Mijue P7000 plus (I dont know if im allowed can provide links). I have successfully rooted/flashed etc android phones over the past few years but all are "popular phones" with phone specific threads.
It is mtk 6752. Ive browsed a bit and all i can make out so far is, download application thats compatible with mtk 6752, make sure you write down imei, and follow the rooting instructions. Is there any thing i should be wary of? Anyone any experience of this phone or similar? im aware of more than one rooting software. The best rated one is on other computer and cant remember name - It was recently updated to add 6752 to its list.
As for ROM, i dont expect to ever find a custom rom for it (its currently 5.0), i just intend to make manual changes to settings. Ive still to browse for this.
Thanks for reading, hope you have some advice so i dont have a brick
Thanks

Hello guys, this is my first post in XDADevelopers
So I have this Intex Cloud M5 II,which I bought 2 years ago and want to root it now because it gets slow and plus I want to install linux in it. I have searched this site(in the top right corner) but I could only find threads about Cloud M6. Before this site I had tried following some other blog posts to install superuser right in my phone. But it didn't help.
So, truth be told I'm quite a noob in the field of rooting android devices, and I can't figure out where to get started from.Anyone who can give me some links to useful threads will be quite welcome.
**BIG NOTE**
I run a linux(Debian) machine,so it could help if there were some rooting apks for my model. Else if I have to go to the command line, that wont be a problem
Au revoir.
