Im pretty new to this and hope there is someone kind enough to help me out.
Anyway my situation is this. Got a LG G3 D855 from a good friend who just got an upgrade on his contract so he gave me his old one.
The problem i have its locked to O2 uk. I've tried IMEI unlock, I've tried contacting O2 with no help there either basically because im not a customer which enraged me abit.
So ive been reading up on things like bump and getting the phone rooted. Now! If i root my phone is there a way i can remove the network lock?

I'd suggest you head over there and start checking it out, all relevant information for your device can be found there, so you should be able to find the answer you're looking for pretty easily. If you want to post there you'll need to create an XDA account, but that only takes a couple of minutes.

hi I changed my phone from lg gpro2 d838 to lg g3 d855 and the images which were locked in that device are not opening up in the new device the error which i am getting is images locked by another google account cannot open,
please suggest what should I do i need those images.

There is an XDA area dedicated to the LG G3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3 which would be a good starting place but it's unclear whether your problem is with local files on your phone or images that reside on a Google server. Try posting your question with all relevant details in the friendly LG G3 Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you, but if the issue is with something Google locked, you may have to contact Google Support directly.

If your dealer can't or won't help, I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. Note that since T-Mobile devices are generally fully unlocked, you might simply need to factory reset your phone (an option typically under the "Backup and Reset" settings)" and enter your own information.

I just saw an LG G4 (VS986) on ebay. I live in India. The carrier is verizon, the VS986 is an US model. It is written that hotspot won't work. Also there is mentioned that verizon logo will come up during booting. My queries are:
1) Why hotspot won't work? Will I be unable to access WiFi also?
2) Why will verizon logo come up during booting? Is it common or the phone is rooted?
3) Will I also face problems regarding upgrading the phone to marshmallow?
That's all... I know these are too many questions but please help....
