i hope this is not a repeated topic.
i want to set and alarm but when want to chose a ringtone or a music as my alarm sound it just beeps and the real tone or music dose not play can someone tell me what is the issue ?
Which rom are you using?
Did you choose the new ringtone from the specific alarm you made or from the general settings?

Any one has some decent alarm tones. The default are realy dumb. I tried my own but they are not appearing is list
Using CM10 I selected a custom alarm sound from an MP3 but when the alarm is triggered, it plays a default tone, not the one I selected.

Guys, help me out here.
If you set an alarm, and set it to some volume.
Now press volume rocker and turn your alarms to muted.
Now wait for your alarm to go off. For me, it completely ignores the global setting and sets the alarm volume back to whatever it was set up with in the alarm app.
My phone alarm went off even when muted in a cinema cause of this.... Is this a bug with my android install? Or can anyone else verify this?
Running nougat UK version.
Slide down your notification tab and look for "Do not disturb". You have the option for total silence or alarms only or priority only. Hope that helps
Does anyone know how to change the default alarm clock sound and vibration for Google clock alarms that are set on the phone? I haven't found a way to change these and it annoys me when the clock is making a sound immediately when the alarm triggers. On my phone I have set it to be a raising volume alarm so I can wake up (or snooze) without everyone in the room waking up. My previous watch didn't have a speaker so it was just a vibration on the wrist that woke me up.
