Still no fix, tried tweeting Sony and TrustedReviews and CNET to try to elevate coverage, but really getting annoying now
It is very annoying... i hope CNET will do something... Or someone... to make Sony fix our bug, accelerometer is a function that we really need...

Yes I was facing this bug also but got rid of it by flashing m2 kernel on aqua.

Hey, I fixed the issue by flashing official 4.4.2 for m2 aqua. I made a lot of calls in last 3 days and my accelerometer is still there, so yeah, I can say its fixed for good.

Thanks for your help but doesn't look like there's much info on there either, I don't understand why there's no support for the Xperia Miro on XDA?
It's a new device, be patient.
U can try this method for rooting, it works on allmost all xperia ICS devices:

I understand that the device is new but it's been out over a month. I found it relatively easy to root the device but it's more about there being no development for it. It's a cheap handset that a lot of people would go for so I would of thought there would be custom ROMs and development for it by now?

Firstly, do not PM me for any questions !
Ask in the forum here. You may mention me and I will get back to you !
About your query, the firmware you mentioned has only camera quality issues ! There aren't any bugs to my knowledge !
If any user thinks there is something to add/ remove, kindly do correct me!
About how to roll back, you will need flashtool and FTF file of xperia to flash your phone with older version/ newer depending on your choice!
The details are available in general section !
If you are still confused, quote me back !

Can you elaborate! What exactly are you doing and how are you doing?
My guess is you are using OTA for updates!
Use PC companion to update to the .14 version! OTA failed for me too
Good luck
bicked phone
I just rooted my phone and I looked at some comments about people bricking their phones. I know what a bricked phone is, but I don't know why it cant be fixed. If it's a software error, shouldn't people with experience in that field be able to fix that easy? I'm just curious.

Well, I have been using Sony Xperia since 2011 and I have been flashing ROMs, modding, experimenting a lot with them, I never have managed to hard brick any of my phone !
It is always recoverable ! These users might be new to it !
It is only care to be taken to flash kernels,ROMs,mods which are meant for your device model only! Failure to take caution in this regard might result in hard brick!
Good luck.

micromax service manual
can anyone provide me the link for downloading micromax service manual...pls.
I've just checked the official Sony developer page and it seems that they've removed Xperia L from the supported device list. That means no more unlock codes. In other words: anyone who hasn't already got an unlock code is stuck with a locked bootloader!!! Why, Sony?
Hey!Why Xperia C is in the list.
Is this means that we can unlock the bootloader.
Select xperia M and continue the process.
this should work the guys who have Sony xperia m4 did this and it works so it doesn't matter because it's all about the IMEI code

Okay but isn't that limited to the M series? Like M only works from M to M4

I would also be interested in an answer, because I wanted zo unlock a spare device. Do you think the people from the FreeXperia project know more about this?
I created also another post a while ago, and someone posted a link, but I didn't try yet, because I wanted to send the device to repair before (these days), because the front camera was not working (unknown error is reported when seleczing the front cam).
Cheers

I don't think so because if it was about the model or the series you will see a lot of common things between them in software like imagine that the ftf of m works on m4.
And if you notice the link given after you select the device is the same ,So when Sony deleted xperia l they meant that we don't support this device now.

... the only thing is, you have to enter the website over flashtool (bootloader unlock)! the link is just to a missing page on sony website but if you go to the unlock page and open the list and serch ……
…… Xperia L!
IT'S MAGIC :victory:
i have unlocked my 2 Xperia L devices just to days ago!
maybe sony don't support the official way anymore to unlock.
Just got my unlock code for Xperia L , it works just fine ....

No proof of this! How to be sure that you are not a scammer?
---------- Post added at 09:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 AM ----------
OK @wrundawan I found the scam, you have a dead device and you never solved your problem. You only need an other device to play with it and try to repair YOUR device, that's why you can't prove anything. I searched for your old posts on Xda and I confirm that your phone is always dead and I found this from you on the web who comfirm this again: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-16341.html
Other thing, selling services and spamming all threads is against forum rules so I will contact forum moderator to have his opinion.
To all users, I will make a small guide to explain how to unbrick your phone, it works in some case but not 100%. For the short story I bricked my phone some weeks ago with the same result, only red light, and I successfully resurrected it. Don't worry it's free, you can do it yourself and I can provide a video for proof
Buddy check the date of that post at which I had posted it.
Currently I had fixed my device and also helped other guys to fix their phone.
I hope your just eagerly waiting for posting me here solution as till now you didn't got any solution. As I said my solution is paid, I am not rich enough to do it for free.
Show me single person with whom I did scam.
Good to know if you got solution and posting video soon.
