One more. Old thread is discontinue and maybe it needs to be locked.

2.16 builds will not be supported this time. If you want Ls on your phone, downgrade to 2.15.

Something seems to be wrong with this build. I have no sound at all. Means no ringtones, no notifications, no music (using player pro, I get something like "audio format not supported by player pro").

Yes, @Rapier told me that. But, I cant do anything here. Wait until LS team fix it.

OK so for now there's no sound due to some commits. @mikronac.ns is trying to get a new build working, meanwhile I've made a patch for this build to have sound working and enjoy LS. You just have to flash it in recovery after you've flashed the ROM. (let me know if it's not working, for me it worked)
Instructions:
1. Download V2 Patch HERE
2. flash in recovery AFTER you've flashed the ROM
3. flash additional files you want (GAPPS, custom kernels, ...)
4. reboot
Now that we have the ROM working there are a couple of things (I've also added some screenshots to the OP)
- [NEW]Expanded Volume Panel
- [NEW]main Settings layout changed to include On/Off switches for Wi-Fi, BT...
- the included Layers Manager app is still the old version (3.0). To install the latest version from Play Store (3.4) you must first delete (using a root file explorer) the Layers folder/app from /system/app and reboot. (screenshot in OP is for Layers Manager 3.4)
- the build has "enforcing" selinux permissions. It is recommended to use SElinux Mode Changer to set it to "permissive". This is required for example if you intend to use Viper4Android or other apps that have issues with enforcing
- even if not officially recommended, custom kernels works, I've tested latest IceCode and I had no issues (still this is subjective and it is very much depending on each user's phone usage)
- Xposed works as well, thanks to @Loreane Van Daal, I've found that Xposed module that solves one of the memory leaks in android 5.0.x and there is an improvement. Anyone can install Xposed from official thread HERE, then install the module from Xposed repository (just search for "lollipop memory leak")
NOTE: Theme used in screenshots is Gryffindor Layers theme
Happy flashing...

This is new build. It is not tested, I don't know if it solves problem with sound.

Still no sound but the patch worked so I'm using it. Hope the issue will be somehow solved by LS cause Sean Hoyt replied to me on G+ page and he said he has no clue what happened. Maybe at next build, if it's still without sound I'll pull a logcat and we could find something there

So you use the Patch from first site ( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934548040 ) of this thread with the current rom ( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934548412 )???
And it worked. Because he (the patch guy, sorry I am on mobile actually) says that we should use this patch with the rom Version from 29.03.2015.

I am the "patch guy" and the patch is working for this last version too. In fact it'll work on all builds untill there will be a major change in the libs.
Anyway, I'll test each build and I'll specify if the patch works or not after each one.
Sent from nowhere over the air...

Build bot starts new build every day at 10am. About 1pm am checking afh to see if it is uploaded. If yes, that's great, if not - wait next day.

Okay, I just flashed yesterday but I need some days to know definitely that there are no mobile connection problems. As you can see here I hab no rom until now that had no problems: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59659091
I hope your rom give me no hangoff or connection (mobile phone call connection) problems and they should have, I hope that you guys know how to read my catlog's. I guess you two guys are fit! Thumb up.

You mean there are too few downloads? Well this could be due to the "no sound" issue or because many users are still more comfortable with CM based ROMs...RRO/Layers might have scared some people also. Still LS is one of the best LP ROMs and has options that work without adding Xposed (like Ambient Display for ex). I'm downloading now today's build. Have you tried the 5.1 branch of LS? Is it buildable?
EDIT: Last build as of 02.03.2015 still has no sound. The good news is that I've looked more inside the patch I've made and managed to cut it's size from 85 MB to only 10 MB. So for now you can use the new LiquidSoundPatcher_V2 for getting sound on LS. I'll delete the previous patch and put a link to this post instead

Yes, every build has <10 downloads. I will configure jenkins to count commits or something like that. Maybe I should build it every 2 or 3 days.

CyanogenMod (pronounced /saɪ.'æn.oʊ.dʒɛn.mɒd/) is an enhanced open source firmware distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Features supported by CyanogenMod include native theming support, FLAC audio codec support, a large Access Point Name list, an OpenVPN client, an enhanced reboot menu, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB tethering, CPU overclocking and other performance enhancements, soft buttons and other "tablet tweaks", toggles in the notification pull-down (such as wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS), app permissions management, as well as other interface enhancements. CyanogenMod does not contain spyware or bloatware. In many cases, CyanogenMod may increase performance and reliability compared with official firmware releases.
CyanogenMod is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code.

This is a fresh(er than the rest) CyanogenMod 11 build for the pico by me. The ROM is smooth and relatively bug free, perfect to be used as a day to day usage stable OS.
I will be maintaining 4 different release channels for this ROM. Two stable channels - one each for CM11 and CM11S, And two beta testing channels with the same layout. Beta testing channels will see more updates but can be relatively buggy and unstable as compared to the stable releases.
As the first upload, Here is the CM11-stable-release1.zip
the stable CM11S build will roll out as soon as I'm able to fix constant FCs with some apps included exclusively on the CM11S release.
Features:
1. Slimmed down version for ample space in /system for Gapps
2. Init.d support
3. Theme Engine
4. Customizable QS Panel
5. Heads up Notifications
6. Compatible with Xposed
7. Rooted with SuperSU (v 2.49)
8. Caller ID bug from @kirmaniarslan's CM11 builds fixed
9. Stagefright safe
10. 878 MHz safe OC with no NAND burn risk

Future Releases:
1. AROMA Installer with options given here:
1.1 Option between Arslan's kernel and Current kernel
1.2 Choice between AOSP and Hackers Keyboard
1.3 Choice between AOSP Launcher3, Trebuchet, and possibly Nova Launcher
1.4 Optional Applications - AudioFX, YU Theme, Great Freedom Theme, Baton, Boxer Mail, Themes Showcase
1.5 Sweep2Wake and non-Sweep2Wake kernel options
2. Possibly prepackaged Google Apps. I could use a lawsuit. Really.

I use it with TWRP 2.8.0.0 and it uses the same kernel source as PAC ROM KK RC-3, so it shouldn't have any problem with 2.8.5.0 . Just make sure you do a super clean flash coz the kernel's really really picky about flashing. Actually he's been giving me a lot of attitude lately, so it's up for a change. Maybe I'll just use @abhi_qwerty's kernel which he compiled for PAC ROM.

Well, GApps is still somewhat of a problem. I tried YourZGapps XS and it removed the quick settings toggle from the notification drawer. TK GApps shows a setup wizard that just force closes and does not let me use me anything. I'm hearing Banks GApps is really good, will have to give it a go. I'll let y'all know soon.
P.S. If nothing works, I'll show you all how to manually place files and set perms through a YouTube video over on my channel. That's how I am using it.

Ok I will try . Although am using my pico as a daily driver and happy to see some development again
I have a question about recovery which recovery you recommend with this ROM
Edit1: btw what are the main difference between your mini gapps and other one (gapps kk)
Edit2: got it about recovery sorry for bothering you

TWRP 2.8.0.0 or higher is required. I did a F2FS compatible version over in the PAC ROM thread you can try that too. About GApps packages, Mini GApps is the newer one.
Mini GApps is a no go guys. Have myself staring at the bootanimation for 20 minutes now. The bootanimation has slowed down though, indicating that something's happening in the background, but other than that, nothing is happening. Will update y'all if there's some change.
Edit:
Both Gapps packages don't work. I'll upload a YouTube video soon.

Hi everyone, i am currently building a weekly version (or monthly, depending on CyanogenMod fixes and patches) of CyanogenMod 12.1 for a while now, i thought i could share it with you, because falcon cm-12.1 branch is no longer supported by CyanogenMod.
I made some little modifications to the framework, the device tree and the kernel, which you cand find in the source section.
For those who don't read at those stuffs, the changes are:
- Restored Ambient Display (and tuned a bit) and MotoDoze (wake gestures etc.), since the black screens have been fixed a while ago, this feature is now working correctly here on CM12.1
- Status bar date customizations
- Ability to hide SU icon on status bar (developer settings)
- KCAL support (adjust color contrast and saturation with this app: http://downloads.codefi.re/savoca/kcal)
- Proximity check on wake (disabled by default, you can enable it in Settings/Display), prevents accidental wake ups
- Dexpreopted
- Cyanogenmod's Screencast app from cm-13.0 branch
- Kernel security fixes from cm-13.0 branch
- PowerHAL updates from cm-13.0 branch
- General device tree updates from cm-13.0 branch
- LuK1337 gently found a fix for the GPS bug that forced you to erase modemst1 and modemst2 to make GPS work, so you won't need to do that anymore
- Updated all the libraries and apk/jar's from latest 5.1 build
- Updated Adreno libraries to 5.1 (Motorola is still using 5.0 ones on their 5.1 build)
- CyanogenMod fixed the soft reboots due to strictmode violations (https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/1e60f9b9ae10d46d028c19c90cf0f52d40ca620a), so this fix is of course included here, but is not included in the latest public snapshot for falcon on the CyanogenMod site, so this can be a reason of switching from that snapshot to this build.
- CM12.1 branch is pretty stable right now, so you shouldn't have any major problem

NOTE:
- Reported bugs without any useful logcat and/or Xposed installed will just be trashed
- If you flash any CM12.1 custom kernel, you must flash this package: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-xonQbKq2U2NEtIbXZaaEdCemM&usp=sharing
in order to downgrade your camera blobs from 5.1 to 5.0, if you don't this, the camera won't work ***
-- If, for any reason, you decide to go back to the kernel included in this ROM, you have to install again 5.1 camera blobs, the easiest way to do that is flashing the ROM .zip.
*** I updated camera blobs from the latest Motorola factory image, a kernel update was needed in order to make camera work after updating the blobs (that's not an hack, is a regular update from Motorola), but CyanogenMod dropped CM12.1 nightlies before doing this, so any CM12.1 based kernel doesn't contain that kernel update, that's why you need to downgrade camera blobs to 5.0.
I have to remind you that installing a custom kernel will break any future support by me
great job! looked for something like this before moving from my snapshot 12.1 ROM which was the first custom ROM I put on this phone. Running identity crisis nowas I need to have a stable NO Root ROM for my corporate email to work but Ill be downloading this rom for sure.
slds,
Very nice! Thanks! I missed long time is Ambient Display, so It´s back!!!
The only thing I would like to have in this rom is an option to remove the #RootSymbol in the status bar

A new build with the feature you've requested is up, you can find the switch in developer settings
(Note: the build informations shows 28-01 and not 30-01, that's because i didn't make a full clean build, i just did a build on top of the old one, there was no reason to make a new clean one, because the "Hide SU icon" feature is the only thing that changed since 28-01 in the source code, so don't worry)

Great! I´ve noticed that "inconsistency" in dates, and has no importance
I've uploaded a new clean build, just to be sure it doesn't bother anyone (no difference from the previous one, it's just a clean build)

It works here, i think the problem it's the location, somehow cLock doesn't take it "instantly", try to add the widget, update it and delete it, now it should work (that's what i did right now)
OK now it works thanks.
Nice rom man... keep up the good work.
There's a little problem here though, I have tried some CM 12.1 kernels(HurtSky and Optimus) and they seem to break camera. Is it a bug or I should be using CM 13 custom kernels instead cause I really need some features outta them ?

After updating camera blobs to 5.1, the kernel needs an extra patch too: https://github.com/fonz93/android_k...mmit/17be9afb1bd6fa1737e8365a9f959c9ad5a32e74, that patch is probably missing on every kernel made for the older versions of CM12.1 (or ROMs based on it), this because they use 5.0 camera blobs and they didn't need to merge that kernel patch, this patch is of course included on CM13, but you can't use CM13 kernels, because they use a different ramdisk and selinux policies.
The easiest way to workaround this, it's to flash 5.0 camera blobs and your preferred kernel, i have to remind you that if you flash a custom kernel, i can't give you support in case some bugs shows up, because i will not be able to reproduce or fix them.
Now, you can flash this file, to get 5.0 "camera.msm8226.so": https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-xonQbKq2U2NEtIbXZaaEdCemM&usp=sharing
It should fix your problem, let me know if it works. In case it doesn't, i will provide you a different package with all the 5.0 camera libraries (it will get more time).

Thanks man for your time and help. But installing this didn't work either. But thats not a big issue I will stick to the stock kernel.
BTW any chance you can odd those 5.1 blobs to Hurtsky or Optimus kernel. Just for curiosity !!!

In the kernel part they can only add the patch i mentioned before, but then they will break compatibility for all the other 5.1.x ROMs on xda because those ROMs use old blobs, on the other hand adding 5.1 blobs in the kernel flashable .zip is possible, but can't be done, because of this:
- User "A" installs custom kernel that applied the patch and includes 5.1.x blobs in its package, it will work with all 5.1.x ROMs
- User "A" doesn't want to use that kernel anymore, he installs a different custom kernel, that one doesn't include the kernel patch, but you have 5.1.x blobs in your ROM that have been extracted with the previous kernel installation.
- The camera of user "A" is now broken, if he is not skilled enough, he won't know why and he will probably think his installation is broken, then people will start suggesting him a full wipe and a fresh install without a legit reason.
This could be done only 2 or 3 months ago, when the Lollipop developing was still active and all the developers could update their ROMs/Kernels, but with the current situation, it can't be done.

Only the ability to change Screen Saturation and Contrast. I just like them a bit higher than normal. That's all. None of those funky advanced features.

Sorry didn't tried these before, they work with CM 12.1 custom kernels.
But anyways having those options baked in the rom (I mean kernel ofcourse) would be very nice. And thanks a lot man for your help.:good:

i've made a new kernel build with KCAL support, flash this in recovery:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-xonQbKq2U2bW5nR3FXa1o1TDA&usp=sharing
Now, because you probably have 5.0 camera blobs in your ROM, to restore 5.1 ones, flash the whole ROM .zip, then you can flash the kernel update

Can anyone pls confirm if the same problem is there or nt in this version? I want to switch if it's not because it's very much annoying as only a reboot solves that!! Thanks.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the next build coming?
I can't give precise information about the next build. I try to do a new build each time there is a significant change in the ROM's sources (bugfixes, new features...), but keep in mind that I can only do this on my personal computer for now, and that I also do it on my free time. So please be patient!
Will you fix this bug?
Unfortunately, I'm not the person in charge of fixing the ROM's flaws internally. We have to wait until the bug is fixed in the upstream sources (either CyanogenMod, or the ROM developers of the one in this thread), and that I do a new build.
Will a Nougat version of this ROM be available?
I hope so! Again, this depends CyanogenMod 14 ever comes to our device, and if the ROM developers carry on to this version too. I can't say for sure, but if it is possible, it will be done.

That's wierd, does it do the same on other MM ROMs like ResurrectionRemix or Slim6? I never heard of that problem, and didn't experience it myself. Are you using Xposed?
Please try to provide me a logcat of when you are stuck on the boot animation.

Same request as in TipsyOS, can you please add DT2W feature? I use it all the time on XenonHD LP/MM roms.
Thanks!
Mate, I got to say... from all your builds, this is the most stable. A bit early to say, but for two days, no reboots, BT streaming to my car stereo working good, GPS working as it should. The only problem I faced at the beginning was the WiFi disconnection. I sort of fixed it by flashing Xenon HD's boot.img from the latest ROM. Now no WIFI disconnections and I also have stable performance playing Clash Royale, which it was constantly crashing in other MM ROMs, including your PAC one.
AOSP-OMS + Xenon HD's Boot.img = WIN!
Let's see how it goes during the weekend.
Cheers!
Thanks for the tip Acogu!
Can you check if DT2W works with Xenon's kernel?
I think the problem is to use the substratum

I'm having only Sweep to wake/sleep under the Wake menu. On the Xenon ROM file's name it says S2W so don't know if that version only has that feature.
Maybe you can check with the previous release.

So is it working? Is it more stable/faster than xenonHD?
I actually just flashed it now, having some issues, but will give it a day or so and see how it is.
DT2W is enabled and works (after flashing the boot.img from Xenon). Still need to test everything (GPS, bT, etc...).

If it's just safetynet, then it is a known issue.
Sultanxda found a workaround for that.
It was on the front page of xda recently.

It works perfect!
Tested GPS, BT audio streaming, BT phone, DT2W works out-of-the-box when you flash Xenon's kernel, Substratum works great, great job!
DND with alarm worked great.
I've never had any stability issues with Xenon (used LP though, not MM, didn't like the MM build, had a few annoying bugs).
Going to see how battery life is in the next few days.
Not sure if this can be fixed, but the BT volume resets to MAX every time I'm connecting to the car, and the music is blasting On LP it would remember the last BT volume.
in google play, it displays the app is not compatible with my device. I can't install it to my phone.

That's not the ROM's fault, then. If I recall right it won't install on rooted systems, unless you got the .apk and a workaround to make it work. I can't help much with that, sorry.

Please let your ROM like it is... It is so pretty minimalist.
Could you please remove Calculator and Gallery too? Only Playstore is enough...
Updates weekly, monthly..?
I'm testing it right now...
Whow, this rom seems even smaller then GZOSP?
I will definitely also try this one in the coming days, hoping it will stay 'pretty minimalist' as Master_TC mentioned.
Curious about update cycle also btw...

I can probably make two builds, one without AOSP apps and one with. I personally prefer no AOSP apps but that's not what StatiXOS uses.
Probably weekly updates. Currently working on fixing remaining neverallows to be able to ship user builds.
ROM is installed and works great so far.
The installation and configuration went smoothly.
Playstore is preinstalled, but depends permanet on the point where the apps should be updated. That's why I had to install Opengapps pico. Now I can also update all apps.
It's great that SELinux is Enforcing. As a result, all Baking apps run without problems for me!
I could not find Smart Pixels in the menus. Also, I miss that the HW keys can not be modified.
@ZVNexus
Unfortunately, there is one serious issue:
after restarting the phone, I can unlock it with fingerprint and pattern. This process must be done within 10-20 seconds after the restart. Otherwise the display will not respond any more. It is neither possible to enter the pattern nor to reboot. The only solution is to hold down the power button for a long time.
Overall, the ROM is great and I will use it as a daily driver.
PS: my english is not the best. I used google translate...

I tried to replicate the last issue but failed. If you could provide logs that would be great. Are you on firmware 5.0.8? I doubt that's the reason, but doesn't hurt to check.
HW Keys customization is something I am working on ATM, should have listed it in things that aren't working ATM.

Yes i'm on 5.0.8. I have OP 3T and set fingerprint with paddern.
I installed your rom 2 times allways clean install, but the issue exists.
- Set fingerprint with paddern
- reboot your phone and don't touch it
- after 1 minute try to unlock with fingerprint and padern
- after fingerprint it asks for paddern, but you can't draw the paddern
- only long press on power button helps and immediately unlocking after reboot
Sorry for stupid question, but how can i make log files and where can i find them?
For me this one is a little too lean....
But a great base for people looking only for the basics and put their stuff on top.
I am missing the aosp stuff like telephone service and clock, so may be I will try again when the second flavour is available
All together good work!

adb-tools.
adb logcat > logcat.txt (do this in terminal)
For any more information Google is a great resource.
After letting it sit for a minute I was able to replicate the issue. I remember a user that had this issue on another ROM. I will look into it later tonight, but as of now its not a serious issue as mainly anyone doesn't wait that long to unlock their phone. I won't be able to get logs until I get home, but if you send me logs earlier than that I can look into it earlier.
*EDIT*
Talked with a friend who had this exact issue,
"What i did to prevent it, clean flash without wiping cache. I came from OOS". Try that.

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. Also replacing the AOSP dialer results in emergency calls failing randomly so its best to leave it installed and make the Google Dialer the default after installing from the play store. Kind of like leaving QuickStep so you have the Pie recents, only way more important.
Anybody tested VOLTE in India with this ROM?

Always On Display
Dash Charging
More SELinux denials fixed
Night Light fixed! (Went back to previous display HAL CAF tag, something is broken in CAF ATM)
Went back to 3.18.131 (Greg removed .132-rc1 from the linux-stable-rc tree so something was probably wrong with it.)
GAPPs
Also I compiled a GAPPs package with January APKs from the Pixel 3XL factory image. Also includes standard Google applications. This GAPPs package removes the default AOSP apps so anyone who wants to remove AOSP apps, this would be it.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LineageOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LineageOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AICP/vendor_aicp/p9.0/FEATURES.md
Bugs:
- NFC has been enabled but i recommend you turn it off and make sure it's disabled to prevent excessive battery drain.
- Bottom navigation bar glitches sometimes.

Please report to the moderator's team that the thread can be re-open because you can make a working link to the kernel source availabe and are ready to add the missing link. Links to blobs isn't working either.

Nothing much just making more ROMs for y'all
I've been playing with it for last couple of hours and so far so good. Maybe battery drains bit quicker but I'll give it few days and see. I only can't install Amazon from play store, like it's not available. I'll try to download it from apkmirror.
Are OTA updates coming? That's one of my favourite aicp features.
Anyway, great job. I was beginning to worry there would be no updates anymore. Thanks for keeping my tablet alive.
EDIT
Couldn't charge the battery over the night but it might be a wire issue. I've just changed that and we'll see.
There's some issue with screen rotation. It doesn't rotate to upside down portrait mode, neither auto nor with rotation control app. All the other orientations work.
EDIT 2
Charging issue must be faulty wire. After changing it, it's charging twice as fast.

No I have no idea how to get ota working plus I don't have a good working download site for the ota's to be able to download even but when I put out a build sometime next month you can just download the full ROM like you normally would and flash the ROM without wiping anything you will stay rooted and your gapps will be kept assuming you didn't add or modify any system files except magisk and gapps. You should be fine to dirty flash the next build over this one
Yeah I don't know why you can't download amazon from the play store just download from apk mirror and manually install it that should work and I am glad your enjoying the ROM

No problem, we'll get there. I only use it when I'm charging the tablet so not a big deal.

For information, I did a clean flash, flashed this rom, magisk v19, opengapps nano, but have had few bootloop. Waiting and waiting then be able to start the setup.

Don't use magisk v19 use magisk 18.1 and do a full clean flash again. Have you repartitioned your device and is your device a flo or deb I need more information. ROM runs fine on my flo
Hi everyone i am currently compiling and building a new build for flo and deb with aicp's latest sources as of today may 3rd 2019.
In the new build i went back to 320 dpi instead of 480 dpi because i think more people would like it that way also i fixed boot animation being too big and latest aicp changes have been added. I hope you all will enjoy the new build i will upload it once its done building it will probably take 3 hours to build.

don't know about the changelog wouldnt know where to find it
no you can just dirty flash over the build you are already running if you are already have my previous aicp build installed but in any other case or if you are running a different rom clean flash is mandatory unless you are running this rom
netflix should be working use the older version of netflix and make sure you have it hidden using magiskhide also there are other posts and threads that tell you how to fix it. look at other peoples rom threads and posts because i dont care about netflix
