Great to see you here mate, i used to use your roms for both my S3 and Note 2 ! I must say they were the best. No disrespect mate but now most of us are on roms using MK2 firmware . Will look forward to your updated release
Not much difference between the 2 firmwares...probs just regional stuff, this firmware is still current...

Step 1-
Make Sure You Have a Custom Recovery
Step 2-
Wipe all(factory reset and wipe davlik) if coming from another rom
Step 3-
Install the Rom (stock slot recomended)
Step 4-
boot into download mode and flash the NE9 Firmware only Tar Via ODIN Here
Step 5-
Once booted open Alliance Manager from app drawer to create needed folder structures

Here is my instructions
Use odin and flash NI2_STOCK_KERNEL_FOR_SAFESTRAP.tar.md5 or any VZW KITKAT kernel. Then you can enter Safestrap. Once you flash file or whatever you need to do in safestrap remember to boot to download mode from safestrap and then use odin to flash VZW_BOA8_RETAIL_KERNEL_ONLY.tar.md5 (If Already On BOA8 Firmware) or the VZW_BOA8_RETAIL_FIRMWARE_ONLY.tar.md5(If on Firmware Earlier than BOA8). Then you will be good to go. This process must be done every time you need to use SafeStrap!

Awesome. Running it now but keep getting a pop up after every call asking me to do a hands free activation. Love all the new options but it does not feel like the Verizon TouchWiz. really hope this works out. Could we stay a fund to get the dev a phone?

You need to be using a s6 port for this framework to work on, I would recommend geiti94's Sixperience which is available here. I will also make this on the latest s5 based firmware too when get the time but for now is only compatible with s6 port

Its a team thing.
But for the second question this is just a framework which is heavily modified like jkay deluxe or 3 minit. It still requires you to flash a base before this and in this case sixperience as it is the only s6 port for s5 at the moment, as this only contains files required for our mods. Any bugs that are in the base rom used will still be present

Ah fair enough lol.
Yeah I get that, I just meant that I had already downloaded Alliance ROM and was planning on using that, but I also like sixperience, but now we can use the Alliance features in that ROM it makes is a nice decision as to which I want to use

I'm getting a lot of toast notifications about system ui has stopped, but it never crashes. Any thoughts? It seems to be working fine other than that.

Depends on what changes are made. If no changes are made to the files this affects then this can be flashed straight away otherwise I will need to update it

If coming from a full wipe rom then you need to set a lockscreen effect as the default effect is incompatible with s5 due to needing 64bit libs. Changing lockscreen effect in settings should fix that. If not please post dumpstate do can see what the error is
Background? As in background of apps? You need to enable it in alliance control, set affected apps in whitelist, select image and wallpaper alpha to right as well as set colour to white
If mean home screen and lockscreen wallpaper, that sets as it should for me. If just black then also related to incompatible lockscreen effect

Perfect!! I knew it was probably something simple since everything was working just fine otherwise. I selected no lockscreen effect and that took care of the system ui error issues, but I still can get the home screen wall paper to change.. Very awesome that you guys were able to make this such an easily flashable mod to have the Alliance ROM fun.

Cant remember exact location but try delete wallpapers from
System/data/users/0

May be it needs a compatible kernel with doubletap to wake..try with optimus prime and report
Turned on dt2w and s2w with optimus prime and also try with hurtsky alpha3,and still FC.

The option isn't supposed to be showing, it will not be there normally unless the device supports it

Its because our device has nav bars
Disable nav bar and set pie control and use slim recents

but in all other rom slim recents works with nav bar on.
slim recents without nav bar is a feature in this rom?

Cyanide was designed for devices without nav bars...so implantation of nav bar is different in this case

A little bug:I set the background of notification drawer a custom color,after reboot it go back to default color.
I don't know why I clean flashed again and set a custom color after the first boot,then rebooted it didn't go back to default color.
If i set the dual sim call option " ask every time" dialer crashs.... can u solve this...otherwise its really a perfect rom...

Calls are fine ...may be problem with ussd?
no...both...call+ussd...if I set any single sim, then it works great
see the pic... I just dialed the number 844490...
its a clean install, no xposed or other critical things involved.
I‘m sorry...I didn't notice it's the final build until today.
It means no update in future?
