There is a slightly different folder structure with the ATT ROM that confuses titanium, so you will have to get something like Root Explorer to delete the files manually. You can use this guide here. There will be a few differences since the thread has not been updated to Lollipop, but it's pretty close.

Thankyou. Didnt see that someone else posted about this until after i did. Thsnkyou. Please delete

Anyone else having trouble deleting bloatware after 2.2 update?

For some reason, titanium backup fails to delete any of the ATT bloatware after I flashed the 2.2 update. If I tried to uninstall any of the att apps, titanium backup would error out saying that it can't find the apk file. I started deleting them manually from /system/app, but I can't find the apk for AT&T HotSpots and AT&T Family Maps. Anyone have any idea where those last two pieces of annoyance are hiding? Or any idea why Ti Backup would fail to delete any of the bloatware after 2.2 flash/root?
You can delete via adb or you can download Root Explorer and nuke these files to get rid of those two:
The AT&T Family Maps application is:
androidlauncher2.1-61x612010_06_11t15_49.apk
and the AT&T Hotspots applications is:
WISPr_v41.apk
Hope this helps!

Sorry if I missed something in your post - but I am having the same issue. Can't seem to delete any of the Bloatware.
I got Root Explorer but am not sure where they are hiding these apps. Can you post the path where I can manually delete ATT apps? Pretty please? TIA
Nevermind found it..DUH... Discard
For what it's worth, I emailed Joel Bourquard on October 2, he's the dev of TiB, and he asked me to send him all the new information regarding our 2.2 leak and TiB not being able to uninstall the AT&T bloatware. I believe he is currently working on an update specifically for us Captivate users.
There is an update out now on the market.
I got the update last night and got rid of the rest of the bloatware I could not remove before because I did not know what the file names were
Cheers,
Charlie

[Q] How to remove bloatware on unrooted inspire

Hey. I did a search and didn't find an answer to this question. I just got my Inspire last week and am still working up the courage to root it since it is my only phone, and I don't want to brick it.
So in the meantime, how do I uninstall apps that I don't want/ need that are on the phone? Things like blockbuster and friendstream, and stocks? The phone wont let you uninstall them in application manager, and I tried creating a folder to move them out of the /system/app folder so they wouldn't run on restart, but it won't let you move them either. And, of course, since it isn't rooted yet, Titanium backup won't work either.
Is there a way to get rid of these apps that I don't want that are stock on the phone?
Thanks!

Thats why we root, my friend. Grab the hack kit and jump in. There are stock Roms that are rooted and already have the bloat removed. And then you can try some other Roms... lots of good stuff out there.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
Running the GB Stock ROM with BW removed. Works great!!!

[Q] Huawei Ascend(m860) Android (v)2.2.2 HELP!! Remove Bloatware!

hey guys. im in serious need of help.. this is relation to the huawei ascend (m860) after been upgraded to Android version 2.2.2..
anyways.. i wanted to remove all that bloatware not freeze it.. i understand the difference but i'd rather remove the apps i know i won't use because i would much rather have more space.
Now this was easy on 2.1; i used z4root + titanium backup. but on v2.2, titanium back just says "failed to locate the apk file" when i try to uninstall it.
I checked it and confirmed that my phone is rooted (using gingerbreak v1.2). and i can't uninstall apps using titanium.. and i can't delete the apk file itself (using astro file manager).. so i'm stuck.. what am i doing wrong?
P.S. On the 2.1 firmware i did notice a considerable difference in speed after i removed all the bloatware so i'm hoping to get the same on the 2.2 firmware
Again, please help i've been at this for weeks.. Thanks in advance

........
WOW!!! titanium backup worked, man! thanks, really.
Titanium back up is the Easiest Solution
But if you want to remove the apps Like a Pro
download any root explore from PLAY STORE
ex. ES File Explorer,Root Explorer
and go to
/system/app/
there are all the Stock Apps On Your Phone
and you can delete any thing
But Besure to only delete those AT&T Blot apps other wise You will Mess Up your Phone..
Ps:To Gain access to Root Folder You have To Mount the system path first.
in ES File Explore You can Do This By
Go To Settings and Tick these
1.Root Explorer
2.Mount File System
please search before opening a new thread. This has been covered many times already.

[Q] What to do with rooted device - help with debloating

OK, I have a rooted LG L9. I've been going through the various postings trying to figure out my next steps.
Debloat - how does one go about this? I've read to freeze the apps and then delete them. I'm OK with the freezing, but not sure how one goes about deleting an app. Apparently I have to change the root partition to RW; how do I do that?
Any other hints or help would be welcome.

Titanium Backup from the Google Play store can uninstall bloatware apps. You also can download Root App Delete too.
