data/voice issue on Verizon
I've tried most suggestions, but have been unable to get voice and data working at the same time with this ROM.
No Data
What is the procedure to get this rom workng on VZW? Do we have to reflash firmware after booting up? I tried 7.1.5 and flashed Andybones data fix but still no data. Are there certain settings to set data to in settings? Thanks.
Same question as fracman; I've seen posts of ppl saying the jw version runs on vzw but the op states gsm only and having flashed it, I can confirm.

Why even bother?
Invisiblek has a build on his website that works 20 times better invisiblek.org/roms/cm-12.0/m8/cm-12-20141115-UNOFFICIAL-m8.zip There's no point in releasing broken stuff just to be first.
I know it's for Verizon, but...
I attempted to use this on my Sprint device. It works pretty well until I install GApps, when it says there's no SIM and no service. Is there any known fix for this? Thanks.

This is not a question. It does not belong here, but I don't have control since I have less than 10 posts. Great.
Thank you to the OP for posting this. I installed it successfully after accidentally softbricking my phone trying to root a 4.1.2 version.
The softbricking seems to have occurred because I was foolishly doing a CWM from VM Ware on a Mac, which is known to cause issues. Following that, none of the stock firmwares, including the one from sammobile.com would work. All failed.
I was able to apply this from TWRP recovery and it worked flawlessly. So thank you TWRP and OP.
As nice as it would be to have a current version of Android, this runs about 3x faster than the 4.1 which came with the device, so I really can't complain.

For some reason the text message notification wont clear out of the status bar

Just install this ROM 20141229. All boot up well and is running real smooth. Gotta say its the best (clean, stable & simple) lollipop Bacon ROM. Keep up the good work
It works with multirom if this is the primary Rom. The only problem was that my wifi and mobile data stopped working

I have almost the same problem; I got signal bars but no signal. I have the "emergency call only" option. I've tried to factory reset and flash it back to stock fw with Odin, but the problem is still there..
