What's the Difference GT-S7275 / R / Y - Samsung Galaxy Ace 3

I bought 2nd hand Ace 3, Apparently it is a GT-S7275Y. Is there a difference between 7275/7275R/7275Y ? Can I Flash stuff (Recovery, Custom ROM) Of 7275 to 7275Y ?
Thanks.

I am interested in this too, because I have GT-S7275 with no letter at the end.

I think There isn't any big difference and ROMs/recoveries will work on S7275/Y/R. I have R and everything is working for me.
I looked at sammobile, there are R/B/T versions and B is for latin america, T for Australia/New Zeland and R for rest of the world.

I assume you are from Australia the S7275/Y version is from Australia not Austria as indicated wherever you see the stock rom and I have tested the GT-S7275R/B/T roms and twrp by Kotzir on my S7275Y with no problems at all .

[Q] Can the ROMs for different variants be flashed to thers?

I know Snapdragon won't work on Exynos and vice versa but on the older models the ROMs could be flashed from different international regions and worked perfectly - I used a UK ROM on my Note 3 for quite a while as the Aussie ROMs take as much time as tectonic plate movement to be released....
Has Samsung region locked the hardware through using region specific roms that aren't flashable through regions?
I see a few versions of ROMs around for certain 915* roms with the stipulation that they can't/shouldn't be flashed on another version and was wondering if that was so..
A Devs input on this would be nice, thanks for reading my ramblings...

[Completed] [Q] PDA version and CSC version denoting different regions?

hey hello to all out there
Basically i am new in the forum but not to its threads which have always been a great help to me when it comes to rooting my smart devices or making them more efficient or whatevr so finally joined it to avial even more fun !
Well i own a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT- i9305 4G LTE which i rooted months back in order to install android kikkat 4.4 .But i later found that the android kikkat versions available den, were not the officail ones and the users complained various problems with the custom ones so i decided to wait for the official release and to install it manually using ODIN!
Now when the officail kikkat is avialable to download i am damn confused about regions i should download from ..coz my PDA version and Csc version denote different regions !
So what i need is some expert advice on this as to what to do in this case when the PDA and CSC /Product code show different regions!? Should i change my csc, den how?n how do i know the correct csc for my device coz my PDA shws i have a multi csc ?(n i dont knw what was my csc before i rooted)
Phone Info
Model:Gt - i9305 4g lte
Country of origin: MADE IN VEITNAM
Original CSC code: VDI
Product Code: GT-I9305RWDVDI
PDA version: I9305XXUEMKC
CSC version:I9305VDIEMK2
Base Band Version:I9305XXUEMKI
Android :4.3
(P.s- I dialed *#06# to knw the IMEI n through it i came to knw that my phone is from germany so my csc should have code that matches with germany code but my csc code i.e VDI matches to ireland )
plsssss help guys!!!!:crying:

Samsung Galaxy K Zoom 2 (C115) Flash European FW over Asian FW?

Hi,
I got a Samsung Galaxy K Zoom 2 (C115) with asian Firmware (Korean?).
I switched to german language but there are still korean letters. Is it possible to flash the firmware of the european model of that smartphone?
Or are there thinga to care about?
Thanks and best regards,
cy2u5
Well, if needed, you can try the C115 world firmware, just have a look on the post about it.
I also get korean letters even in French.
I'm also the owner of the C115L, but does your LTE or LTE-A band working in your country ?
I'm based in France and it doesn't
That is why I'm looking on the right code to activate the ServiceMode option, to get ride of this limitation.
Good luck
Pls update Sam k zoom c115 lollipop
Hi,pls can anyone pls update android 5.0 for for Samsung k zoom c115

G955N and G955F differences, installing new rom and root it

Hi everybody,
I've bought a Galaxy s8+ G955N on Ebay and I've some questions about it :
- I've seen in all forums that the G955N have 128 Gb of storage and 6 Gb of ram, but my s8+ have 64 Gb of storage and 4 Gb of ram : why ? There is a software restriction ?.
- Can I install a G955F rom (full wipe with official samsung rom downloaded with samfirm software) ? I'm not affraid about changing the bootloader, the kernel or anithing else if necessary.
- If I can install a G955F rom, can I root it without any additionnal risks ?
I've seen on a lot of website that there are no hardware differences (excepted the ram and storage) between these.
Some informations about my phone (in french, sorry I don't know the exact translation ) :
- Version de la bande de base : G955NKOU1ALQ1
- Version Kernel : 4.4.13-12640043
[email protected] #1
Mon Dec 11 20:43:34 KST 2017
- Numéro de version : NRD90M.G955NKSU1ALQ3
- Logiciel de l'opérateur : SAOMC_SM-G955N_OKR_LUC_0078
ce12160cc429ab3905
LUC/LUC/LUC
And the processor is an Exynos, I can tell you more informations if you want (with cpu-z app for example) .
I want to change the rom because I have some app and website displayed in korean language (not convenient ) and I want to have the last samsung update, without all operator applications.
Thanks for the reply
i also have an 955n but full speced. same software version. not 100% sure of this but if im not wrong 955n exists in both versions. you might have bought the normal version or got scammed.... double check the listing because if im right 955n code by itself doesnt mean it has full specs.
regarding the rom change i think its possible have yet to find a way to do it and remain with the stock experience.
You've an Exynos phone?
If so, CarHDRom is very good/excellent port of the Note 8. V9. This Nougat ROM is quite stable.
Carotix's Oreo finalized, V12, just came out, and I'm waiting of feedback of stability on that version (V12). It is in the same main post.

Thanks for the reply,
Finally I decided to flash a custom rom (the carHDrom v12), but I encountered a new problem, my download mode is entirely in chinese . Do you know about how I can change that ? It's impossible to read this lol .
I'm a little sad about loosing knox feature but with a custom rom I can do a lot of cool things better than knox ^^
When I installed a new csc in the phone, using csc selection I can see some phone infromations and this screen show the model name, and SURPRISE in board name it show G950F / G955F ??? How it's possible ?
thx

a6000/a6003

Guys may I know which version u have? This is the first time I'm going to try op phone so I don't want to make any unnecessary mistake.
Is there any difference between the two in terms of custom rom and rooting availability(such as samsung's exynos is easier to get custom rom and root than other version) ? Or any custom rom will fit to either version?
BTW I'm living in Indonesia, do both will work just fine on my country or do I need a specific version in order to use it here?
Thanks people.
need the answer too, some people said using A6000 outside india or china the 4g network may not working.

I have a6003 here in the u.s..
I have A6003 here in the UK
6003 here in Australia - this is the official International version.. There is a 6000 version going around, which seems to be India based - but is being sold as a "flashed OS" version and sold internationally. I would highly suggest getting the 6003 - it seems the most compatible
6003 is for europe/us.
6000 is for chinese/india.
The difference is just the supported bands (6003 supports much more) and the rom, the rom can be replaced easily.
6003 for US/EU/GLOBAL
6000 is for China/India (no play services, few bands missing etc)
this information was received from oneplus directly.
