We can achieve a heavily customized user experience using a Custom ROM (CyanogenMod for example) or using exposed framework modules (such as gravity box).
Which one do you prefer and why?
I would prefer exposed framework..
As flashing a custom rom taks lots of time..
Exposed is user friendly... U can customize as much as u want .. Gravity box is awesome. Try it before u flash a custom rom
I think I will have to agree with you on this, as CM for my phone (Moto Maxx) does not support the Moto apps nor the features that come with the phone just yet.

Hello,
is there a working "Center Clock Mod" for the OxygenOS ROM ?
If you know what you are doing then you can use the Xposed framework to achieve most tweaks that a custom ROM has. Read the thread properly, take a backup, install at your own risk etc.
I know it works on OnePlus Oxygen because I am using it.

Hello guys! My name is Aayush Mandavya, I live in a country called Nepal near India and I own a device called Colors K15 having 1GB ram/1GB rom, android 4.4.2, hardware-MT6582, processor-AEMv7 processor rev 3(v7|)
even though I have this many features my device looks and feels bad like really bad.
I can't flash a rom (I have a revovery mode in my phone),
I guess this problem is for everyone owning a MTK device, we want to know how CM looks and feel in our devices.
So I am begging you great developers to please develop a custom CM12 rom for support of every MTK devies.
Doing this many people can get a taste of CM in their cheap smart phones and about 1/5 people of the world will be happy.
This is my request to you please help me
First of all i understand you because i own a MediaTek device( Micromax Canvas Fire 2 A104)
At first i did not like its interface...so i thought of changing my ROM but unfortunately i couldnt find any decent ROMS....(i wasn't ready to use unofficial ROM s on my mobile. So to make my phone look great i did the following
1. rooted my phone using kingroot[easy]
2. changed the default launcher (there are various launchers such as Nova launcher,Go launcher, Hola Launcher etc.....in fact there are tons of them in google pay store)
3. installed xposed framework and modules such as gravitybox [easy and fun] ,monsterUI [gives lollipop styled interface]
and after all that my phone now look like its running Lollipop(but actually its running kitkat 4.4.2)
try these methods.....im sure it will not disappoint you
When I was on my Note 4, I used to try all roms available in order to choose which is "best" for me but I don't have time right now to test every rom so I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on why you chose your custom rom
Currently using Superman Rom (last version of MM) because it has the basic features, like zipaligned etc, it has aroma installer, and has Xposed in it
Also use Superman MM, staying until Nougat has Xposed and the ROMs are more polished.
Hello all,
I am on untouched x507.
I am very happy with the camera quality on stock and I fear I would lose it on AOSP based ROMs.
But I am unable to live without root (shifted from Moto G4 to this when it broke)
So I am thinking to flash TWRP and Xposed for all the extra customisations.
Do you guys think it's worth the all the fuss? Do popular Xposed modules work on this heavily customised EUI?
Thanks.
