If you need drivers install snap pea, it installs drivers for most of these chinese made phones:
http://www.snappea.com/
If that dont work, this is a bit longer and harder to do but this will root any MT65XX device: (directions in post #5)

Hope this helps!

VRoot will work
Latest english version is 1.73 --> LINK
You will need to activate "USB debugging" in developer settings on your phone. Then connect the phone to your computer, open VRoot and press "ROOT"
If its not possible, use the latest chinese version 1.76 --> LINK

[Q] How to root my phone?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I recently purchased a HUAWEI Y600-U151 running Android 4.2.2 and I can't seem to find any ways to root it.
I'd appreciate any help and I'd prefer to root it using a app rather than a computer (If possible)
Thanks

Thanks. I'll try that later on my mom's laptop. In the meantime, does anybody got any other methods that don't involve computers?

Did you ever try srs root?!
kingo is more legit and would probably do the job....
I know this is dead but as it turns out, my phone actually came with rooting software (kinguser) how cool is that? It worked like a charm and I didn't even need to get a SU app. Thanks for your help guys.

It's the best because with the new Sammy devices the chances to root the device are becoming less and the methods usually get growing in difficulty level, so for now i think that will be the only method to use to root, but who know in the future a new one may appear so it's not definitive.
Regards
