Hi.
Is there a way to stream the conact directly to the samsung TV?
Im using the Show box to stream the movies online and the MX Player to see the movie and the imbedded translation. I want to stream the movie directly to the Samsung TV that I have like the built in video player.
To overcome this today, I use the screen mirroring, but this drains my battery quite fast as the phone screen has to stay on at the same time that I stream the movie.
Please advise if this is possible.
Thanks.
You need to check wheter your videos are compatible with Samsung TV first in that as far as I know, Samsung TV only can support MP4, WMV well. Maybe a tool should be helpful to you for encoding videos into MP4.

DLNA is cool. I can even watch movies on my phone. But I don’t have a DLNA-certified TV. My TV is a normal one. Can I still watch movies from the computer on my TV?
To access DLNA streaming, if your TV is not certified dlna one, then use a media player hardware as a bridge. Of course, this media player must be dlna certified one like the popular ones: WD TV, Popcorn Hour, TVIX, Dune Player, PS3...
Use the cable to connect your hardware media player to your non-DLNA certified TV set. Thus your TV set is only used as a HD monitor.
Also the supported codecs of these players is very important point. MKV file can not be streamed by DLNA directly. Try a video converter app to transcode mkv to compatible one. Seaching on Google, you will find one. I find one via searching dlna mkv video converter.
Good luck. ^-^
And don't forget you lose subtitles since there is no standart for in in DLNA specs.
Is there any video player for Samsung Galaxy R that can play 720p H264 videos with high profile of encoding [like any TV series release that can be found on the web]? I heard that Tegra2 is not really good with such kind of videos, but i really did not have any luck with finding any program that can play them back [they all stutter badly].
Also, if no solution can be found, can you recommend me some pc server/android client that can transcode that type of videos and stream them over the wifi?
Thanks.
DICE Player, MX Video Player. In my play very smoothly, without jamming.

Is there any way or app which i could use to stream videos from my device to TV without any cable? I know there are UPNP/DLNA apps which can do that but problem is using that.. TV uses its own video player to play the files and we dont get much of functionality. I'm looking any app which could use MX Player/VLC or any other Android player to control the video in TV. Any help?
Hi,
Please i want to stream movies from my phone to my sony kdl ex65 tv(bought in 2012) . I'm able to stream a movie perfectly via dlna but my tv can't play subtitles. Is there any workaround to be able to play movies with subtitles without getting additional accessories or dongles ???
Sorry if i wrote in the wrong forum's category but i didn't know where to ask .
Thanks
Any android app or specific converter?
Mx player can play with subtitiles if video have subtitle included or you can download from subtitles from google by searching
The problem is playing the subtitles on my tv via dlna , not playing it on phone(btw i use mx player for watching on my phone)
Will it be possible in really near future to cast urls with movies?
I mean I have a direct link to a movie (most popular formats mkv/mp4, x264, mpeg4 etc). It runs fine on my mobile mx player but I cannot cast it to a tv.
Why?
