Um no this would be for the OnePlus One only. You cannot flash roms from one phone model to the next.

Tried a dirty flash over CM12 0314 nightly...
...didn't go well... Kinda figured but figured I'd give it a shot as a test.
Anyway, clean install seems to work very well so far... Nice and smooth and fast!
Only problem I've encountered is with Messenger app. No joy there, won't let me send any messages.
Using Messaging for now, so I'm good, but just thought I'd make everyone aware.

trouble with WI-FI
Sorry i have a bad english,
So when i have installed this rom Cm-12.1-20150325-UNOFFICIAL-bacon.zip the advice found my wi-fi but after one reboot, the advice don't found any Network,
i want just advetised you like this you know this problem exist....
i just wait a stable rom
Again sorry for my poor english i'm italian........

Thank you so much. Any bugs?
Do you know if there is any major bugs? Like camera not working, or NFC not working? Thank you again for your work

I use messenger app to. Does everything else works? Like NFC, Bluetooth, camera, etc.? So dirty flash means you flashed it on top of the nightly build right? How do you recommend flashing it? I am in the latest nightly. Thanks again

Everything else seems to work fine except I too lose WiFi after a reboot. Switching airplane mode on/off brings it back though.
Yes, I dirty flashed it over a Cyanogen nightly. That created a ton of force closes for me.
What did work for me was wipe, then flash ROM first, then boot, then reboot to recovery to flash GAPPS.

Wifi bug on 5.1 12.1 UNOFFICIAL by CraZY_BoY^
I'm trying this rom, it seems pretty stable tbh but WIFI is buggy, at first all working good but after rebooting it loses all networks from time to time.
Turning on/off airplane mode seemed to be a workaround but now not even that.
Any suggestions? or fix?
Thx in advance.
EDIT: 5 min after this initial post i tried to turn off the option "scanning always available" in wifi advanced settings and now all available networks show up again... coincidence?
well, ill update if anything changes. Rebooted and all good for now

Can confirm messenging works on 28th build contacts working, also no WiFi trouble here on the cm12 modem. How can this get any better?

Same here.. Messaging and WiFi works on 28th build

Thanks for working on this. But I will wait until Xposed is updated to work with 5.1

Wallpaper is not moving.. Bug?? Otherwise fantastic. I am fiddling with the rom all day. Almost 50k in antutu..

On the 29th ROM all all working goog. Just WiFi initially did not start but after 2 reboots it got OK.
Please stay stock to cm12.1
Congratulations

I looked in the OP and noticed you claim that everything should be working? What should i look out for in terms of can I make calls? Will my phone explode out of know where etc ?

BT issue
Hi all,
found only one issue until now .... it's related to Bluetooth when paired with my car radio...the sound crackle and no way to listen correctly to music ....by the way when calling or receiving a call no pb.
Anyone with this issue ? is it a regression or a android 5.1 bug ?
Thx a lot

I couldn't find my wifi connection when i want and gets connected automatically when there is no use and this led me to flash another rom please tell what was wrong

I am unable to mute a call.. Anyone having this issue.
The other problem is, if I am on a call and I get a second one, I cannot switch between the calls..

Just dirty flashed the 31/3 ROM over the last one, and all working perfect .
Thank you for a great job

Trebuchet does not move the wallpaper when the "turn up" and "turn down" animation is applied.. Works ok with others
Sometimes the lockscreen wallpaper leaves the gap where the statusbar was when pull down notification is used on lockscreen
I have the problem with resizing some widgets, like shuttle player widget for example..
These are only small glitches, the rom is buttery smooth. Battery seems to be at least the same as last cm11, love the colour optimatization and overal speed. 49+ in antutu with this build..

Giving it a shot
I'm not a big camera user anyway, so I'm going to give this a shot. Wish me luck!
Hi Plesse fix camera THX
Hi there..
Is 4g/Lte working?
4g LTE dont work
Great job!
Thanks for your work! This ROM is awesome and if you fix the camera too you're a god. By the way... on this forum there is another Lollipop ROM (Candyrom) where the camera is working. Can you use that? i'm a noob so don't judge me
Just flashed earlier today and seems to be working great! cheers man. Any update on the camera?
Thanks
Camera Works!!!
Great job!!! The camera works and the system is very fluid. i notice some problems on activating mobile data. First time i tried it didn't work. I switch some APN, turned Airplane mode on/off (strange, it required me to enter the PIN 2 times in a row). Finally it worked (i saw the LTE text on signal bars and i was happy ). Another thing i noticed is that the Prefered Network was 3G and i couln'd choose LTE only if i select 2G first and then LTE.
Thanks again!
no sim found
i have a problem, the rom can't find my sim, anyone had a solution?
SIM
(This rom doesn't ask for my PIN so I guess it doesn't read my SIM at all? Clean install (I guess), everything else I tried is working quite fine.)
Settings say baseband version is unknown.
They can't hear me well
Another problem that i noticed is that the other person i'm talking to hears me, and i quote them, "like you are in a tunnel". At first i thought that is their phone, but multiple persons reported that to me. Also, this happened after i flashed this rom.
Baseband Unknown
Hi,
Just installed this and everything works great except for the mobile network. Settings say baseband version "Unknown", doesn't detect sim at all.
Does anyone has any idea on how to fix it?
Cheers!
....
Hello , I friend says to me : "You don't need root to install cyanogenmod on m4 , only TWRP (teamwin or something like this..) "
And my question is : Is this real ? I don't need root , only TWRP? to install cyanogenmod on m4 ?
Installing the app Selinux and setting it to permissive fixes APN and mobile network problems. I would advise doing some background reading of this app first though.
Flashed it 2 days ago, everything is fine. Sometimes it is a bit laggy, but it looks very nice!
First i had problems with the google play music app. I was not able to listen to music with my headphones but now it works... Don't know why ?
cm12
who can do not be razognanoe kernel on cm12? you're welcome
Hello Guys,
I just tested the CM12 build for the One m4 and i have some issues... i cant connect to my carrier and somehow i can't install the gapps. i downloaded the one provided in the first post and i tried to download the most recent ones. If i try to install the gapps, my recovery just pops up the main menu with no error-codes or something. it is just loke blown away, if you know what i mean... and, yeah, i cant connect to my carrier, which is like... meh... not actually good for daily use... :/ if there is a way to fix it all, please let me know, i could use some help here.
Greetings Meritili
Edit:
Managed to install the gapps, carrier Problem is still there, help please!
Great Rom !! Thnx
Nice Rom
but... vibration intensity does not work
Bluetooth Problems
Hi, first of all thanks for providing this ROM. I tried both the 5.0 as well as the fresh 5.1 build and most things, apart from some spontanious reboots, are working exceptionally well (IMO better than CM11).
One problem I observed is that I can't use bluetooth to make calls. I am not sure, whether this is a general CM12 problem, or whether it's specific to our device. The same problem is also present when using the other Lollipop ROM based on CM12 in the forum (Candy5). I also found some reports of users of other devices that also have bluetooth problems when using CM12 or some other Android 5.x based ROM.
To clarify: I can pair and connect to bluetooth devices that offer headset functionality (tried bluetooth headset and bluetooth radio in car), and I can also stream music via bluetooth. What I can't do is making actual calls via bluetooth. Both bluetooth devices noticed that a call is about to be made, and also the correct number was displayed in the radio display. But no sound was audible and the other side couldn't hear me. The call itself was okay when switching to internal speakers. Dis-/Re-enabling of bluetooth options did not fix anything.
Audio playback over bluetooth is also rather sluggish and sometimes leads to freezes. Also sometimes the option to use bluetooth for media playback has to be disabled and reenabled for it to work.
Unfortunately I can only test bluetooth in my car (the headset wasn't mine) so it is kinda hard to generate logs. I will try over the next few days to produce one.

Has anyone tested the IR Blaster on this build yet? I'm interested in trying this ROM but from what I understand and from my previous CM12 experience, I haven't seen the IR Blaster working on any AOSP ROM.
Anyone have advice on getting the messaging app to work? I'm using a third party app but the regular messaging app is constantly force closing. Would it be safe to just disable it or would that stop texts all together?

Thanks, I'll try that App out. I've been using Smart Remote with TW based ROM's w/great success, thought I'd give IR a try again on AOSP ROM's since it appeared to be working per list of working items. Thanks again for the reply.
call bug in CM12
Whenever my phone received a call it would forward them straight to voicemail and would have this ringing sound that would come from the handset earpiece of the phone and it would only stop after I restart the phone. What should I do?
P.s. I have the SM-G900p (sprint variant) of the Samsung galaxy
Thanks for the awesome ROM!
I did also notice some bugginess with BT, Pandora when connected to my Mazda 3.
Funny behavior is that it works fine when disconnected but soon as I connect to the car Pandora does not play...so I'm not sure If its an issue with Pandora itself or something else..
Thanks! Great work!

I experienced this as well when using the CM from the official site. Mike's ROM Fixed this..
Another Issue I've found, not sure if its just google or CM12 base, but if you open up the dial pad while in the call i.e to push keys for menus or something, the ear piece stops outputing sound, have to enable speaker phone in order to hear when key pad is open.
Bluetooth issue, bluetooth share crashes after a few songs played back on Pandora..
Anyone else experiencing MISC battery drain? 40% of my battery drain is related to that. I've read its caused by WIFI being on (makes sense as I"m almost always connected to WiFi (home or work) ... going to test to see if keeping wifi off at work tomrrow helps out more.
I'm using the 1/13 nightly build (flashed 1/11 beforehand) - this looks and works great. Two bugs in facing: I cannot receive phone calls (just a weird ring that only goes away with a reboot) and MMS won't work. Planning on doing tonight's build.
@ Izzy.. ineteresting, I was seeing that with Official Nightly's, but not Miked's compile.. wonder what he's doing differently
Also, with the latest nightly for 1/12 that Mike put out looks like bluetooth is stable.... atleast made it through my entire morning commute to work (about 30 mins) without any issues. Lets see what happens on the way home.
Regarding calls
In regards to calls in the most recent posts on page 9, I am also having issues. I have tried calling to and from my office so I can control both ends and I'm unable to hear either end. The calls connect but there is no noise from either speaker. Just chiming in on the issue. Thanks for an otherwise solid build!

I think I may have found a fix for the battery drain, try out my latest build and let me know.
As for the call problems people are having, I really don't know I have not had any issues since the first build I did. After the first one I used a different device tree and haven't had any problems. Just to try to correlate the issue, could anybody having calling problems please report what baseband they are using? I am on NKD, and like I said no probs. The first build I made had the same problem as the official nightlies where it had a weird ring but couldn't pick up. In fact the only build I had the problem on was actually removed from the links so anybody experiencing it is likely running into something new.

I've installed your latest build, testing it now, well will charge fully to 100% and then see if misc battery drain appears.
I'm on NK4 baseband. Experiencing a few issues...
- Laggy dialer
- When using keypad in the dialer sometimes earpiece cuts out and have to put into speaker phone and then back (i.e when using automated menus during calls)
I am able to make and receive calls as far as I can tell... Should I have flashed the stock lolipop rom first I wonder...

That's the same thing I am wondering, not sure if the people who are experiencing call issues are related to their baseband. I did briefly test on some earlier basebands and didn't notice any probs, but the testing was far from extensive. Its just a thought but could be related.
I haven't noticed the earpiece problem, but I always use speakerphone for menus and such. The dialer lag I have noticed, it just hasn't seemed worse to me than on any other ROM including stock ones. Hopefully these are things that will be washed out with future updates. I plan to continue builds indefinitely, and fix what I can, but these seem like they would be hard to track down at this point.

Severe outgoing call issue

Hi,
Description of the problem : I am not able to hear, and my correspondant won't hear either, until I turn the loudspeaker on. However, when I turn it off again, It magically works. Also, no problem with ingoing calls.
I am able to hear a voicemail without this manipulation.
I tried different CM12 roms, and use the last firmware and google play services.
Anyone facing this issue? Is there a workaround?

I don't really want to put CM11s back on my phone, as I am not using MultiRom and love CM12. All I know is that It didn't happen back in the time when I was using CM11s.
This imply it could be either a CM12 problem or a google play services update problem, right ?

Not sure if it's the same problem.. Mine started occuring 1 month ago, what's more, nobody mentioned the trick with on/off speakerphone to solve the issue temporarily.

Maybe related according the comments http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/87378/
I just tried the new nightly 02.20 in order to make some new tests. It seems in my case that the issue was caused by the gapps I was using. In fact, with a new gapps package I don't have this issue for the moment. ?

GPS won't lock. Tried Google maps and Waze.. No lock.. Rebooted, cleared cache, still not able to locate me.
I got lock right away no problem.
i can't hang a call, and the phone doesn't ring con incoming calls
When i make a phone call and push the hang Button just says hanging but doesnt do it and besides when someone calle me the phone doesnt evento ring or anything i already checo the notification and sound profiles.
Pretty Solid So Far
Been loving the ROM so far (Just loaded the 4/11 build)! Thank's for all the awesome work to get CM12.1 stable on the S5 (I've been very unimpressed with man of the other ROMs).
So here are a few things that I have seen:
The one way bluetooth audio (Yamaha sound bar) has been very stable, except for when I attempt to scan for other devices. Then it gets quite squirely.
The built-in APNs do not function correctly on Ting (a Sprint MVNO), however an APN MOD for CM11 appeared to fix this (https://help.ting.com/entries/42358068-LTE-MMS-APN-Fix-Android-4-4-Kit-Kat-)
Flixster won't play any videos (not sure if this is specific to this ROM or if it's a general CM issue, as the stock roms work just fine). Not sure where to look on this one, because any references to flixster not working are quite old and not the same error that I'm receiving (Simply an unable to play the video vs. due to security issues - root check).
Otherwise nothing else to complain about at this point. Keep it up!!!
income calls
I have no income calls, any idea? Thanks
So in reference to the GPS lock issues, I have noticed one behavior and it sounds like the dev forum may have recently shed some light.
In my case I've found that if I perform a restore via TWRP, then GPS fails to lock. However a full wipe/install functions just fine.
Go read more in the dev forum about this being a possible known issue with CM, and a workaround (haven't tried it myself or I'd describe it here).

The only issues I'm currently experiencing are:
When I cone out of airplane mode, the signal icon says I have no carrier signal.
The issue with not bring able to connect to TING. I plan on trying to publish that the 4.4 APN Mod still works for 5.x, and hopefully I can get TN to add it to their ROM forum page.
Does this have any volume boost integrated? If not, how hard is it for me to do it myself?
Will xposed work on this ROM?

Anyone able to double tap home to open the camera to work? All the other options work except that one. Maybe it's a CM issue because this didn't work for CM12 either.
Sent from my Sprint Galaxy S5.
Is this thread dead?
will this rom work for me?

hi i am on 5.0 od3 can install this rom?

Jio4GVoice keeps disconnecting in Oreo.

Since One doesn't have Volte support, I use jio4gvoice for calling purposes. Recently I upgraded to Oreo. First I used Resurrection Remix and then AOSP Extended. When using the app, after the screen turns off, the app goes offline. Without it being online, calls won't be received. To get the app back online, I have to turn the mobile data off and then turn it back on again. Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this?
I am also facing same issue ..
facing the same issue, but looks like it's the issue of app itself, i switched to lineage, dot os, colt os , aosp extented, paranoid, aosp and even stock cm13.1 its keeps crashing.
hii friends, i am also using jio4gvoice app and even i was also facing the same problem but then i found a solution that if i keep my gps location on high accuracy then i don't face any offline issue although it consumes more battery but the offline issue gets solved so try this and never face any offline issue again.. i have tried it on all the oreo versions and it works on all of them..
if it's of any help to you kindly hit the thanks button below.
Guys, just keep gps on in device only. That solves the issue.
