At work I need to use two important Android applications. But I have the Windows version of the M8. Has anyone had any luck installing Android on the Windows version of the M8? I haven't found anything helpful online yet. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm hoping that someone can help with this problem.
My employer has purchased a bunch of HKC G901 WM phones direct from China.
Specs here. From what I can make out it is the same as this TechFaith Bono.
From what I could see the phone is (possibly) a similar phone to other HTC phones. I have tried to install Android on the phone using information from this site which didn't work and after a bit of googling I came to the xda-developers site.
What I am hoping to find out is either
a) what htc phone the hkc one I have is the same as, so that I can use that android install
or
b) can anyone direct me to a g901/bono specific android install that I can use.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

That is not a htc device, it mite be a clone but i dont know what device its cloning! im 99.9% sure that you will not find an android build for that device and you will not find many answers here as we only support HTC devices ..... sorry

I have a Motorola Motosurf (A3100). I installed the Gen.Y DualBOOT, however, I haven't got a Android OS right for my phone. Is there any files or an Android OS that will work on my mobile? Please, somebody help?

me too,
have installed GenY. Dualboot and work perfectly but not find Android OS yet that work on Motosurf. try with OS Android for HTC while dualboot syas Android is missing not detected,
launch in Haret.exe getting fatal error and must restart to back onto windows Mobile OS.
Its quite one month and nobodys reply this tread

but maybe other member here can advise which Android OS that working on MotoSurf.
incase some HTC device have similiar specification with Motosurf.
Its possible to use the HTC apps which have same specification

Search the forums by the phone you have, go to android devolpment, there are a lot of Android roms that run from you SD card so you can have both operating systems. If you cant find one you like, ill send you links to a couple I have tested that work great.

Search your model in the top right searchbar (I wrote htc touch and 10 models exist so... I don't know which one is yours) and start from there. It won't probably be easy!

Ok guys a friend of mine has a Nokia C7-00.1 with the Symbian OS. I was wondering if it was possible to root this phone and put a version of Android on it? Ive been searching everywhere and have found nothing.
One more question. I have supposedly put the legit version of Gingerbread 2.3.3 on my htc G2 that i found on this site and i was just wondering if its any different than the version that was recently updated my tmobile and if i should uninstall the version i currently have that I acquired and in turn allow tmobile to update the phone itself...
The first question is more important because symbian is wack and his phones specs seems like it could easily run android. Please lmk what the deal is DEVS

Help needed, i have a HTC Sense running windows 6.5. I was wondering if it is possible to change it to run Android. The reason is that i cannot find a site that has Whatsapp for windows 6.5. I have been told that Whatsapp never came out for 6.5. If i am able to change it over to Android can i then install Whatsapp on it then. Please can you give me a link to the program if any that can change install Android on a windows phone

Hello,
HTC sense is not a phone's model, just a graphical user interface. Which exact model is your phone ? You have to look for a custom rom that is indicated for your model, but I doubt that it would be possible, as windows 6.5 is old...
