I want to root my 3D Cube (su870) , 3d Max in other name but I dont know how to root.
I am looking forward to make rooting with your helps......

oooo you have the new max , well for the optimus 3d we use this program http://vulnfactory.org/public/megatron_windows.zip , you could try it out see if it works

I think rooting 3d cube is yet not coming...

I saw a thread about ghost calls issue then LG ..
fortunetly I didnt experience yet g.c. .....with my cube
so have you tried the rooting methods of any other phones???
Also until a system dump of the phone is done, the developers cant do much, so unless you know how to do a system dump you might be waiting a few weeks. but the optimus 3d could really benefit if someone who has the 3d max can do a system dump of the phone

some people successfully rooted Prada 3.0 aka p940
optimus 3D cube rooted by hPa
[upgrade recovery mode] exploit
so we can use Superuser but can't use CWM Recovery. because exist RSA lock -_- ;
:O if its rooted, can you be kind enough to download root explorer or another manger , and copy the whole "system" folder and upload it on here , we could use it to integrate some files into the old optimus 3d. THANKS

But how can I let it run "upgrade" ?
(it says my phone is current updated => the "Start Updating" button is disable.
and in "Customer Support - Recovery phone" there is no "upgrade" button ???)

Update: I can run upgrade now BUT...
in "C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone"
have LGSU870.... instead of LGP720..
so MaxRoot says "fail to find file"...
please upload a CubRoot.exe.

Update: I try to rename from LGP720... to LGSU870... in MaxRoot.exe
But it still say "fail to find hdcp.sh! kdz is modified"
so I think with out the help of 985hPaKicK I will do nothing !.

i upgraded to jellybean last week, its beautiful.. i notice a big change when you play 3d games or games that needs a lot of memory...
but then im not satisfied with unrooted phone since i rooted my phone before...
so here is the solution for trill 430x user.... search for "Framaroot", a one-click apk to root some devices... just download the apk.. install and run... its easy..

Need more information.
Note that this good old device is based on the Armv6. Games designed for the Armv7 which would be most anything of newer vintage will usually crash out. Install games specifically made for or modded for this device!
